The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or visit one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.

The surroundings offer a wealth of recreational possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.

This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!

## Transit

You can explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

- "Lovely, spacious apartment. The apartment faces South West so was great to sit out on the balcony on a sunny afternoon / evening. " - "We had high expectations of our 6 day stay in Warmond after a week in the Belgian polderland. The descriptions and photography of Kaag Resort looked promising but don't tell the full story. Yes every apartment has a balcony looking at the marina, but it also looks at the railway line which has trains every 10 minutes at peak times but on the other side is an industrial estate which you have to drive through for access to the hotel site. The Kaag resort signage states that the resort is spacious, luxurious and stylish - the reality is that fittings are fairly basic, furniture is worn, cleanliness is not great and there is little to make the newly arrived guest feel welcome. Value for money is OK and the location is good for visits to Leiden, Den Haag / Scheveningen. We enjoyed our time in Warmond and in our opinion Kaag Resort is Fair and quite a long way from Good."

- "Het is heel prettig verblijven in het Kaag Resort. Het appartement waar wij verbleven was van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer comfortabel. - "The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were attentive. The only drawback was the lack of a balcony to enjoy the view and warm evenings" - "As part of an Interrail holiday, we stayed at Kaag Resort for 5 nights as a family of five. The apartment was really great, especially the large living area with integrated kitchen and nice big dining table. There was also a view directly onto the harbour. Warmond is also a very nice place with a great bathing area, park and playground. We rented a boat on the last day and enjoyed the view. On another evening, we went bowling in an equally fantastic bowling centre nearby. On two days we went to Amsterdam. On paper, it looked a bit complicated at first (bus to Leiden Centraal and from there with the many trains to Amsterdam), but in reality it was no problem at all."
