You can reach your apartment through a private entrance in the former cowshed via a staircase (16 steps).

The grocery store is literally right around the corner, and across the canal is a delicious Dutch pancake house. Our host, Giampaolo, was very easy to work with, and we were able to retrieve the key from a lockbox so we weren't required to meet someone to pick up the key. Daytime parking in the neighborhood is easy to find under the square or on the street. But be aware it's in 2 hour blocks, and you need a blue, square parking disc to indicate what time you parked (they may be able to sell you one at the grocery store). Nighttime parking is not time-limited and was easy to find on the street behind the house. The house itself was well-appointed, comfortable and roomy. We also enjoyed the private garden with table and chairs out back. If we need to stay in Leidschendam again, I will definitely try to book this property again!!"
