- "We had a great stay here (family of four, 2 kids ages 12 + 14). The owner met us at his home to give us the keys and show us around. He is super nice and helpful and communication throughout was great. The home is as-pictured. The location is on the outskirts of Amsterdam which obviously has its pros and cons. We loved having plenty of space and a quiet place to return to after a long day of sightseeing. We also loved exploring the neighborhood which to us felt like the Amsterdam equivalent of an NYC borough like Brooklyn or Queens. We had some of our best meals of our trip in the neighborhood: must recommend Bar Bachrach and Selam Afrika for dinner, Dovers Dog for brunch and ish van oost for ice cream. To get into the more touristy part of the city you do need to bike (we didn't try, too crowded in town) or public transportation which was plentiful."

I moved into this newly built (2019) top floor apartment and it's really beautiful! it's located in a quiet and clean neighbourhood, just 20 minutes outside Amsterdam Centre.

I'd love to share my place with you and invite you to come over. You'll stay in the living room and can sleep on the super soft and large couch. When you are with more guests, there's also a nice and comfy 2-person air mattress. It's a spacious and bright living room where you can wake up to a morning sun. You can use the kitchen to cook. We can eat together or you can cook for yourself. After a day of sightseeing Amsterdam you can watch some Netflix or relax on the balcony with a glass of wine/apple juice and watch the sunset.

You can take a warm/cold rain shower in the bathroom, including fresh towels and go to bed including fresh linen.

There is a park behind the building 2 mins walk away. Here there is a basketball court and also a workout-hanging bars and also 3 trampolines(all free of cost). There is a public swimming pool and a spa 5 min walk away. There are gyms and restaurants all walking distance away. There is a shopping center right next to the house with super market, bakery, medical store, take-away, etc. Usually it is just me who lives here and sometimes I could have a visitor.

The space
Welcome to our tranquil and stylish apartment with a garden, just a 20-minute tram ride from the city center.

This spacious home boasts 94 square meters of fully renovated space, updated in January 2024. The guest room offers 14 square meters of comfort with direct access to the garden and a cozy double sofa bed.

During your stay, you'll be greeted by our lovely cat, Effy, and our energetic dog, Bella. Feel free to interact with them as much or as little as you like – we ensure our guests have everything they need for a relaxing visit to Amsterdam in this unique setting.

Facilities include one toilet on the ground floor and a bathroom with a shower located in the main upstairs room. Additionally, guests have access to amenities such as WiFi, a dishwasher, kitchen, BBQ, TV, and fridge.

Conveniently, tram 19 stops just a 3-minute walk from the house, providing direct access to the city center in 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can explore the area by bike.

Local shops and bars are a mere 5-minute walk away, adding to the convenience and charm of your stay.

Nice apartment with small balcony. I usually live there myself, but not during your stay.

You have a living room, a bedroom with a double bed (1.40 m wide) and a sofa bed in the living room. Furthermore, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and a separate toilet.

In the photos, there is no door between bedroom and living room, now there is a door! The rented space can be locked by tenants with a key and hook.

Other things to note
Only suitable for you if you are quiet and respectful of my belongings and my dear neighbors. So no parties, excessive alcohol consumption and of course absolutely no drugs. It is my own apartment, so it is nice if you treat it as if you are staying with (the parents of) your good friends.

2 Bedrooms with roof terrace and bathroom.
Our house is less than 2 minute walk from tram 19, which will take you in less than 25 minutes to the Centre of Amsterdam or Leidseplein in Amsterdam.

The Johan Cruijff Arena and Ziggo Dome is only 5 minutes with the taxi or Uber.

There is a shopping center with super markets, bakery, butcher, drugstores and some cafetarias within less then 5 min walk.

The space
You will have access to the second floor of my house, 2 bedrooms with luxury mattresses and 2 different pillows hard and soft, roof terrace and bathroom.

The bathroom has a sink, toilet, bath with jetstreams and showercabine with rainshower. The door next to the rooms will lead you to the roof terrace with some seats, for example if you want to smoke or relaxing on a sunny day.

In the livingroom there's a table where you can enjoy your breakfast or dinner. It's not possible to cook. But feel free to use the fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, plates an cutlery.

Safety comes first. There are smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher. Smoking is not allowed inside.

You have free Wi-Fi access!
