The best thing about this hotel is the staff. very friendly and very helpful. one of them spend 1/2 hour with me trying to work out new years eve transportation logistics when the public transport was shut down. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who does not need to be close to the city center or who does not mind a 20 minute ride to center. not recommended for people who need frequent access to their room during the day. Cabin 4 is a simple wooden cabin where you go 'back to basics'. The detached cabin is at ground level and suitable for 4 persons. - "We enjoyed our time here. The fries we are at the cafe were delicious.There is a blowup bouncy for kids to jump on. Lots of walking or biking paths.Only criticism is our cabin had furniture that had pointed edges and as it was small it wasn't practical. Other than that we enjoyed our short stay here."

Fantastic modern apartment where you can also enjoy the beautiful spacious garden. The apartment has its own entrance, after which you enter the living and dining room where you are fully equipped. The apartment has a comfortable double bed (160x200) and comfortable sofa bed (140x200). The entire apartment has an industrial design, but cares about the comfort of its guests. Public transportation is nearby to be in Amsterdam in 15 minutes.

In the living / dining room there is a kitchen counter with cupboards. There is a fridge, microwave and a 1-burner induction hob. Furthermore, a beautiful teak table with 4 wooden chairs. In the bedroom there is a sliding door to the common sunny garden. The shower room is in the bedroom. The toilet is located between bedroom / dining room and bedroom.

You can reach Amsterdam in 15 minutes by public transport. Amstelveen is located next to Schiphol. Public transportation is very easy to and from Schiphol. You won't hear the planes in our garden.

- "Mimi's home was comfortable and clean. My family felt very much at home which was a plus since we had travelled so far. The neighborhood is peaceful and convenient to market, restaurants and public transportation as stated. While visiting, we took the tram to Amsterdam multiple times and rented a car/gps which we drove to Den Haag and to a family wedding in Arnhem. Parking was available right outside our door at all times. Mimi and her hostess made themselves available and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is at the time of our visit the oven and bathtub were not operational but this did not interfere with our plans. I do have one recommendation though, as this was my first trip internationally and we were without internet service while away from the house, to provide a burner phone of some sort so travelers can confidently explore the country with maps/GPS as an added amenity."

Hiker’s cabins are small, basic wooden houses for nice, short and cheap stays. Amazing, luxurious and centrally located 3 bedroom house with lovely living (fireplace!) and fully equipped French feel kitchen for rent in Amstelveen, close to Amsterdam. It has a stylish bathroom on the first floor with a large tub, a smaller bathroom on the second floor next to the master bedrom where there is a Caresse bed and has blackout shutters as well as airco for a good night of sleep.

The surroundings and garden are an oasis of rest and boasts several seating arrangements, a bbq, a large trampoline and bubble bath.

You can also park your car on the premises; no paying for parking! Also, in 5 min walking you are in the center of Amstelveen (shopping, bars, restaurants & groceries) and 15 min bike ride to get to the hip South of Amsterdam and the WTC area. Cleaning is provided once a week.
