A cottage overlooking our garden and on the other side the 'Dorpsweide'.
The house was renovated in 2011 and is 300 meters from the sea, beach and dunes. In December 2017 the bathroom is renewed and made bigger.
Cottage has a living room / kitchen, bedroom, and a toilet / shower
You have your own entrance. If you go out of the house, you will see the traditional Dorpsweide where the inhabitants lived around already in earlier times, as well as Today.
Seven times per year, is a kofferbakmarkt organized on the Dorpsweide. where people offer goods out of a suitcase.
Data Kofferbakmarkt 2019: 8 April, 12 May, 9 June, 14 July, 11 August, 8 September and 13 October.
In the summer of July and August there is a tasting market every Saturday from 17.00 on the place where you can taste different small tastes, what to do for the kids, and then there is live music.
There are also several good restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.
Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar with the famous Kasemarkt are easy to reach by car.
With us you can park for free and use free Internet.
In Beverwijk, 5 km away, there is the Bazaar with a large covered oriental market and flea market.
There you can enjoy oriental atmosphere to the fullest.

They were friendly, accomodating, informative, and always ready to give you a tip to find the *best* places to eat. The accomodation was cozy, with plenty of space for myself to stretch out after long days exploring the beaches and the cities. Rent a bike at the local shop, and you're not only in walking distance of the beach, you're only a 15 minute bike ride from Beverwijk train station where you can ride the train to Amsterdam for just $16 round trip. Bring your bike, because almost everything you want to see is just a short bike away from all the stations. Beaches are some of the nicest I've ever seen. Not a peice of litter ANYWHERE! Please help to keep it like that! There are amazing opportunities to talk with the locals, and learn about the area, because everyone speaks English, and everyone is so friendly! We’ve thought of the little ones too! The house is equipped with plenty of toys, two sizes of travel cots, a Stokke high chair, and safety gates at the stairs. Upstairs, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and bath overlooking the meadow, and a separate toilet. The first bedroom features a spacious double bed (180x200), while the second has two single beds (80x200).

The fully equipped kitchen includes two combi-ovens and a large stove with a wok burner, ideal for preparing meals.
