Steps away from Haarlem, Alkmaar, Amsterdam and the Zaanse Schans. There is a lot to do and Wijk aan Zee is a great starting point! The cottage is for 2 people. A nice double bed (lift foot end for storage) and sofa bed for extra. It has a small outside, but no view.
The space
My home is a small house, with a kitchenette, a small simple (bit outdated) bathroom and a living/bedroom. Its cosy and it has its own entrance. It has a small outside, where you can smoke or drink a cup of tea. It is next to the supermarket and next to the dunes and the sea!

barn with washing machine, through the barn you enter, through a different entrance than ourselves, with lots of privacy. Very sometimes someone comes into the barn to grab something. We do have some neighbors noises sometimes.
Other things to note
The summer house is in my garden, with fence between the garden of the summer house and my garden, so definitely privacy and private. I do have neighbors, so I appreciate it as lovers of blowing to do so in such a way that my neighbors and especially their children are not bothered by this. Sometimes my kids or the neighbors' kids play outside, so you may hear them playing. Very sometimes I get something out of the barn that is the only time you can come across me as you enter for the accommodation through the gate and barn. So the accommodation is not on the beach, but the beach is super close! the bathroom has no sink, but a shower and toilet, a cupboard and mirror. And there is a large sink right next to a large sink in the kitchen. Please note: under the bed there is storage space. Lift the foot end and voila!
Waste can be placed in the underground containers diagonally in front of the house, in the environmental street. A pass is available for this.
This nice little holiday house is situated close the beach, which is also pretty in winter. Wijk aan Zee beach is popular in Holland among kite-surfers. The house is tasteful designed and well equiped.
The space
You enter the house through the kitchen (with 4 burner stove, combi microwave and fridge with freezer compartment). From the kitchen you reach the living room / dining room with sofa, armchair, cable TV, X-box, DVD player, radio / CD player (various DVDs and CDs available). On the other side of the kitchen you will find the shower room with toilet.
From the living room you enter the bedroom.
This bedroom has a large double bed (box spring 1.60x2.00 m), which can be moved apart into two single beds. There is a camp bed available (1 child up to 2 years free).
The bedroom has a (fairly steep) staircase to the cozy loft bedroom (no headroom) with a double bed (1.60x2.00 m).
A cozy, light, well-maintained holiday home with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and loft. The house has its own terrace and can be reached via a private entrance through our backyard.
Kitchen linen, towels and bed linen are provided. No beach towels, so we ask you to bring your own.

The house has its own terrace. You reach the house through the gate next to our house, passing our terrace. You have your own terrace behind your house. Behind it is a piece of garden that you do not have access to, but behind which there is a quiet public piece of land with playground equipment. It borders directly on the dunes! This is a wonderful place to relax, read a book or have a barbecue. You can also reach your house from the back through this place.

The house is ideally suited for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children or for 3 adults.
Keep it simple at this peaceful place within walking distance of the village center, beach, dune and forest. The accommodation is suitable for couples and small families.

Upon arrival, the deposit (€100) must be paid in cash. The deposit will be refunded after checking the cottage on departure.
Smoking inside is prohibited and after 22:00 it should be quiet for the surrounding neighbors.
Note; For a booking where a baby (0-2 years) is traveling, a rate of €20 per night will be requested due to the extra organization.
