This is the page of Pelt 35 - a fully renovated holiday house (2016 / 2017) in a rural street in the center of Bergen NH (approximately 5km from the sea). This authentic and compact mid-century cottage serves as our guest accommodation, and we have therefore fitted it to the highest standards. When we do not have guests, we rent it out from time to time. Please view the pictures. Fore more information, please contact us!

The space
On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped open kitchen (including gas stove, fridge and freezer), with a dining area and a seating area. This very cozy room is heated by an antique gas heater, which we had checked and equipped with a thermostat in 2017. For our guests, we have TV, radio, cd-player (with a small collection of cd's), a mini-collection of books in various languages and even a PS3 game console just in case.

Also on the ground floor, there is the bathroom, with shower and toilet.

On the first floor (under the roof), you will find two super-cozy, compact bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a single bed. Both bedrooms have their own sink. Shelves have been mounted for your clothes and other belongings.

Guest access
The cottage (or as it is often called in the region: summer house) has its own entrance (visitors get a key). In front of the cottage there is a small terrace for our guests. The entrance is located at the side of our house, at the rear entrance. If we have guests, we only use our front entrance.

You can use all the stuff in our holiday house free of extra charge. The price via Airbnb therefore is all-in!

We rent out the cottage but we do not run a B&B. Luckily, all shops (including bakery, butcher, grocery stores and supermarkets) are within walking distance (about 150 meters).

Also, the cottage has been recently refubished, but it remains an old and compact holiday house. That creates a very cozy vibe, but for some people, the steep staircase might not be convenient. For small children, the presence of a gas heater is a focus point.

The studio has a spacious outdoor seating area, equipped with a complete lounge set, outdoor table and chairs.

Our garden house has windows overlooking the garden. The house has an open structure. Downstairs you will find the fully equipped kitchen, the dining and living. Upstairs are two bedrooms, separated by the bathroom, but no doors. Downstairs and upstairs there is a toilet. In 1 room there is a double bed (1,80cm) and baby bed, in the other room there is a single bed and a queen size bed (1,40cm).
We really love our house, we are living here for 10 years. We expect that you treat our house with the same love and care as we do.

n Bergen is the traditionally art that beats the clock. Since the early 1900s, Bergen has been an artists' village. They were drawn to the peace and space of the wide avenues and the many greenery and poured their inspiration from there. The artistic flow that resulted from this is called "the Bergen School" and works from this stream, among other things, at Museum Kranenburgh.

There are still a lot of artists living in the village, and they're exhibiting their work in the galleries and artists' center. Events are also organized with art in the broadest sense of the word. For example, art and artistic markets take place in the summer, and in August the Holland Music Sessions (concerts by young international musical talent) are on the agenda, and in October the Kunsttiendagse follows.
