Northeast Wisconsin is not very commercialized so it is the home of some great Supper Clubs, Bars & Grills, Breakfast Restaurants, small winery's, & coffee shops. The area is made up of many families & cottages who have resided here for multiple generations, many of them more than 100 years! When you arrive to the Ranch, we will give you a short list of great places, but get out and make your own adventure & be sure to let us know how it went!

The Maple cabin has dish network television with a fold down futon couch in the living area that makes down into a double for an additional bed. The bedding is provided. The bathroom is a full bathroom with a shower, including complementary soaps, a bathroom sink, & toilet. Towels & toilet paper are included. The bedroom has a queen size bed. All bedding and towels are included. Should you need more during your stay, please ask.

The patio to the Maple has wooden chairs & a picnic table, as well as a fire pit. Wood is available on the Ranch for purchase.

The Maple is next to the Cedar Cabin & close to 4 of our five campsites so it makes for great community or groups who have multiple, different lodging needs. There is ample parking for horse trailers, trailers for ATV's & UTV's, boats, and multiple vehicles. If you choose to bring your horse to the Ranch it has horse pens right out your front door for your horse to stay in. The visiting horse barn is a short walk to the top of the Ranch should you prefer a stall. We do not allow stallions on the Ranch. Horse trail passes are not required in the National Forest in Oconto County.

If you are bringing your ATV or UTV we do have direct trial access. Once you have arrived on the Ranch, park your truck and ride the duration of your stay in your ATV or UTV. If you are from a state other than Wisconsin, you do need an an out of state trail pass to be legal on the trails. It can be purchased through the DNR website for $35.00.

The Maple Cabin is dog friendly. You will need to provide a current proof of rabies for your dog. Please remember, we are in the national forest and there are wild animals as well as other Ranch guests, our own horses, dogs, & guinea hens. Your dog needs to be under your control at all times.

If you are coming from a distance or out state, we are only 70 miles from Green Bay so take a day and the opportunity to check out the iconic Lambeau Field, National Railroad Museum, Bay Beach, or the Lake Front!

In the past, we have had many Ranch Guests from other foreign countries. Some have done the loop around the UP and back down through Michigan which was very popular pre-covid.

If you are interesting trying a recreational activity and do not have the equipment, there are places in the Northwoods who rent equipment. Just let us know and we are more than happy to help you find one of these companies. Rentals are available for UTV's, snowmobiles, down hill skis, cross country skis, snow shoes, paddle boards, kayaks, pontoons, fishing boats, & fat tire bikes!

Welcome to Lakeside Gardens! This gorgeous property features a two bedroom, one bath walkout lower level that was completed in 2018 with a rustic cabin vibe. This unit consists of one bedroom with a king size bed, and a second bedroom with a queen size bed. The bathroom includes a sink, shower and toilet. The great room features a queen size sofa sleeper, a regular sofa, a bar that seats six, and a kitchen table. The kitchen features Amish made cabinetry and is fully stocked with everything you need. Small appliances such as a knife block, coffee pot and toaster are included as well as pots, pans, dishes and basic kitchen gadgets. The kitchen is equipped with the following brand new stainless steel appliances: microwave, refrigerator, electric stove and dishwasher.
The unit is located on the lower level of a split level home that overlooks the east side of Chute Pond. Walk about 80 feet through amazing gardens and water features to reach the water. Here you will find a pier nestled among the pines which is great for fishing or you can use the canoe or two person paddle boat. You can also put your own boat in at the public boat launch and dock it on the pier for easy access. Enjoy the outdoors by sitting in the tranquil gardens, playing horseshoes, grilling out over the fire pit or having a picnic in one of two eating areas that overlook Chute Pond.

This home is located within the Nicolet National Forest, not far from the county park campgrounds and Scenic Overlook walking trail. The surrounding forest includes hiking trails, a playground, ATV trails, public boat lunch and a beach area. There are also numerous areas to fish from shore or in a boat on the over 400 acres that make up Chute Pond. A current fishing report is usually available on Lake-Links (found here

This comfortable, two-story home, located in the quiet Moody Lake community, is a cozy, four seasons cabin equipped with modern amenities, a pier, deck, fire pit and all you need for a peaceful respite away from home. The Oconto County UTV/snowmobile trails start right down the road.

The Good Moody Getaway is located minutes away from Chequamegon and Nicolet National Forests, with convenient proximity to hiking, fishing, swimming, dining and other outdoor activities. We are located near the Oconto River, Chute Pond County Park, Quartz Hiking Trail, Cathedral Pines, local ATV and snowmobiling trails, casinos, supper clubs and much more.

While staying at our cabin, take the paddleboat for a cruise around the lake or relax on the deck while you take in a breathtaking northwoods sunset. The fishing is NOT very good right now because we restocked the fish in 2023 so they aren't big enough to catch yet!

This clean and comfortable 2 bedroom/1 bath, 1,450 sq foot home sleeps up to 6 and comes with consistent wireless internet, Apple TV and Roku, adult bikes, books, puzzles, board games, kid-friendly DVDs and the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway.

The cottage is spacious and well-kept. It has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed as well as a twin over twin bunk bed. There is pull-out queen sofa sleeper in the living room or space for an air mattress if needed. The kitchen includes all amenities; range, full fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric griddle, popcorn popper, dishes, flatware, and pots and pans. The bathroom is generous in size and has a double stall shower with detachable shower head. There is a utility room which has a washer and dryer for guests to use.

The cottage has central air/heat and free high-speed wi-fi connection. There is a flat-screen TV and DVD player located in the living area. There is no land line phone. Toiletries/soaps/detergents are not provided, and guests must bring their own paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper. Guests must also provide their own sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels. Mattresses are in protective covers.

Outside you will find a deck that is accessed through patio doors from the living room. There is a picnic table for meals on the deck and a fire pit in the yard. Wood is provided for guests to use. The lot offers gradual, sandy frontage with a 100' long aluminum dock that offers easy access for boats. Two paddle boards and a pedal boat are available for use, however, you will need to bring your own life jackets for water recreation. We also have a 20' pontoon that guests can rent out. We will need to know prior to your stay if you are interested in renting the pontoon. Life jackets are provided with the pontoon rental.

This quiet retreat is fully furnished and offers 2 bedrooms, 2 pullout sofas, 1 bathroom, deck, and small dock. Take a peaceful ride in the canoe, bring your rods to catch bluegill, & enjoy some outdoor cooking on the gas grill or fire pit. A nature-lover's dream!

This is a quiet, nature-lover's retreat. 800 sq foot 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with open kitchen & living area.
