- "My family of 6 (including 4 kids ages 6-10) loved this cabin and location! It was so quiet and there was a lot of yard space for the kids to play. The lake is beautiful and the cabin has a great view. It was a nice quiet lake for our children to tube and learn to ski. The small channel next to the cabin was perfect for playing on the paddle boards. Rhonda was very helpful and accommodating! Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer! It was an excellent place to stay for the Oshkosh airshow too."

- "Loved our birthday trip to Fremont at this cozy, riverfront home. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was there. We did a lot of cooking. Also, there is a Citgo on the Way in, to pick up ice, as there were no ice trays or ice. Easy to pick up on the way in. Also, the bed was so comfortable!! I can't say that about 90% of the places we've stayed. The view from the bed alone every morning, is stunning. Waking up everyday to sunshine and greenery was amazing. Loved all the personal touches. The pictures are exactly what this place looks like. We drank coffee and ate our meals out on the deck, and enjoyed the river and greenery. It was so relaxing. I highly recommend it. We can't wait to come back. John was very responsive, and helped us with whatever we needed. He even recommended the farmers market in Oshkosh on Saturday mornings. So great! It is absolutely picturesque and very relaxing. There is a spiral staircase leading to the master bedroom upstairs. And the bathroom is on the bottom floor. So be prepared, the beautiful spiral staircase is not for weak knees. 😂 It wasn't really much of a problem for us. I do feel like I got a pretty good calf workout. And just a heads up, there is a 'resort' next door, with little log cabins. It has a full bar only open on Saturdays, cash only. Lots of boats stop by. We went and had a blast, however the ATM was down. Luckily we had cash on us. They used to serve food, but not at the moment."

- "very nice and clean" - "My son and myself stayed alone for the first time away from home. Was close enough to all the downtown fun, yet far enough away to be able to sleep. We rented a jetski and never worried once about other guests, messing with it. Hosts were friendly, and warmly welcomed us. So many memories made. We will never forget it! Not even high waters stopped our fun! Can't wait to come back! I know there is so much I am forgetting. Thank you so much from both of us!"

The lake house boasts large windows overlooking the lake, a private dock and campfire for roasting marshmallows. Our home easily sleeps 9 with additional couches & air mattresses available. 2 bathrooms include the basics you need and a full kitchen with everything you forgot. Sit on the deck and watch the bald eagles fish and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. Feel free to bring your own boat for fishing with the public launch just 2 houses down or use our rowboat for a little adventure. Your kiddos will enjoy the sandy beach and shallow waters with numerous toys for them to play with for hours. If rain is in the forecast, take advantage of the many board games and puzzles or cuddle up in front of a movie. For the many sunny days, enjoy a walk in the neighborhood and meet the wonderful people that make this area of WI one of the most enjoyable & friendly places you could visit!

- "We’ve never been to such a quiet lake and I think I said that every day! The row boat and paddle boat were the best things and the most fun for the kids! They both love to fish. We were hoping the lake might have had less weeds and a bigger swimming area with a floating swim pad! " - "The house was perfect! Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! - "Very small cabin; luckily, it was just the two of us, and we only stayed for two nights before heading up north. I would not recommend this for more than two people; it was very cramped. Don't bother trying to use the stove or trying to cook or anything like that; it's just way too cramped. But other than that, it was clean, easy to find and access, located literally right on the river, and just down the street from all the bars and restaurants. If you're looking for a good breakfast before starting your day, I would recommend the Hotel Fremont. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience; the price was fair for what you get."

Nice front porch, private dock and river frontage like no other available cottages in the area will make for a LOT of fishing, boating & family fun! Sit out and entertain yourself as you watch the river go by. From the water you can boat for hours, up river to the near by sand bar/ gathering area, and up to New London and beyond. Or boat down the river all the way to Lake Winnebago along the way you hit multiple lakes and bars and restaurant's .There’s plenty to do in the area too. Golfing, hiking, biking and outdoor activities abound. There’s also lots of shopping with antique and gift shops like no other in Wisconsin.

- "Excellent!" - "We needed a place to stay for a youth softball tournament in New London. All hotels and rentals were booked in the area. We found this place and it gave a great place to stay sleep, shower and take advantage of a couple nice attractions around the area. The only suggestion would be to remind families with children to bring a long a life jacket for a walk down to the river."

The private, secluded cabin is a large single room with an attached bathroom and sauna. The living area includes a small kitchenette, fireplace, futon bed/couch, and rockers. Large windows connect you to the woods around you. Ski, bike, snowshoe or hike right out your door. Cozy up to a fire and enjoy a cup of tea.
There is no WiFi, marginal cell service and no TV; this allows you to disconnect a bit and take in the stillness of the moment and the energy of the land. Over the years people have written songs, poetry, and created wonderful art during their time at the cabin. It is a special place that inspires creativity, introspection, and connection with nature.

New London is 15 minutes away for supplies and some restaurants. Appleton and Waupaca are 30 minutes away and have a bit more to offer. Waupaca’s Chain of Lakes and Hartman Creek State Park offer many options. Oshkosh’s EAA Fly-in is a short 35 minutes away.

The unit is 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms one pull out couch, 2 roll away twin beds and it has a nice size living room, dining room & furnished kitchen. These modern cottages all come furnished with sheets, blankets, pillows, dishes, pots, pans, microwave, washer/ dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, TV, AIR conditioning & SLEEP 8. Fremont is a golf cart community so if you have one and want to bring to use to frequent the bars/ restaurant's many in the community do. We have some rentals available as well.

Nice front porches, private dock and river frontage like no other available cottages in the area make for a LOT of fishing or boating & family fun! Sit out and entertain yourself as you watch the river go by. From the water you can boat for hours, up river to the near by sand bar/ gathering area, and up to New London and beyond. Or boat down the river all the way to Lake Winnebago along the way you hit multiple lakes and bars and restaurant's .There’s plenty to do in the area too. Golfing, hiking, biking and outdoor activities abound. There’s also lots of shopping with antique and gift shops like no other in Wisconsin.

Centrally located in Wolf River Country, we are a short drive from the EAA grounds, The Iola Old Car Show, Timber Rattlers Stadium, Lambeau Field and numerous casino’s. Wolf River Cottages is also conveniently located walking distance from everything that downtown Fremont has to offer. Food and beverage choices abound within a few minutes walk and other local favorites are a short ride away. Check In Is At 4:00 PM On The Day You Arrive, And Check Out Is At 10:00 AM On Your Departing Day.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to live music from the Bridge Bar just up the river. The food there was pretty good, too! Muskie is a two bedroom cabin with two single beds in the first bedroom and a Queen bed in the second bedroom. Living room with couch and 32" Smart TV. Fully furnished kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove/oven and refrigerator/freezer. Bathroom with a stand-up shower. Muskie offers a private deck overlooking the river with a gas grill and patio set. Cabin has heat and air-conditioning. Housekeeping is not provided during your stay. One set of sheets, bathmat, dish rag and dish towel are provided for your stay. You will need to bring your own bath and beach towels. Sorry No Pets and No Smoking.
Rivers Edge Resort LLC is located directly on the Wolf River in Fremont, Wisconsin.
We offer seven furnished cabins equipped with kitchens and full bathrooms.
The Wolf River is part of the Winnebago System and gives users access to 90 miles of navigable water. We are also located close to Partridge Lake which offers our guests easy access to both lake and river recreation.
Our Central location is within walking distance of downtown restaurants, bars and shopping. You will experience great food and live music almost every weekend during the summer.
Parking – We are limited on our parking, so each cabin is allowed only one parking space in the driveway of the resort. If you will have more than one vehicle you will need to park them along the street (you can park on both sides of the street in front of the resort) or in the parking spots by the school located across the street (when school is not in service). Boat trailers can be parked in the grass area off the street or the Fremont American Legion-VFW offers free trailer parking in the area by the army tank, address is 322 Waupaca St Fremont and there is a sign where to park trailers. If we are not fully booked, we may be able to offer additional parking in the driveway but please ask first.
No-Smoking – ALL OF OUR CABINS ARE NON-SMOKING. If you or your guests smoke inside of a cabin you will be billed for the cost to restore the cabin to 'non-smoking' condition. Costs will include all cleaning supplies and labor involved.
Neighbors – Please remember that your cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood. Please observe quite time from 10:00pm to 7:00am. DO NOT TRESPASS on property that is not part of Rivers Edge Resort LLC. If you are not sure, please ask!
Dock space – We have 95ft of direct river frontage with a pier. We are in a wake zone from Sunday at midnight to Friday at midnight in a high traffic area of the river and it can be very choppy. The slow no wake in front of the resort is only during Holidays and weekends. If you are bringing your own boat; you are responsible for the safety of it and the equipment in it. If you feel the dock space that we have provided is inadequate, you will need to take your boat out of the water. Rivers Edge Resort LLC takes no responsibility for any damages or missing property.

You will have access to the entire house, with plenty of parking space in the driveway (4 cars) or on the road. You have a private dock and yard, with the ability to dock your own boat or rent the pontoon boat from the owners. There are also several other boat rental options just down the street.

The Neighborhood:
Positioned right at the edge of downtown, you can walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars. Watch the Webfooters ski team show either from the privacy of your own deck, or walk next door and sit in the bleachers to experience it with a crowd! Our side of the lake is almost all owner-occupied properties, so this area is peaceful and quiet in the evenings.

Other Things to Note:
The pontoon boat is available to rent thru the owners of the property, which we will put you in touch with. We are not responsible for any pricing, maintenance, or issues you may experience with the boat. That being said, the owners are AWESOME and will make sure you have a great boat rental experience.

Interaction with Guests:
This property has keyless locks, so you will not need to meet us to gain access upon arrival. We give you space to enjoy OUR space. Should any needs arise, we are just a text or phone call away.
