- "What a lovely home and treasured family estate! We're a group of ten friends who wanted to have a fun overnight to celebrate our friendship over the last couple of years. This was the perfect location for us! The house was so charming with all its history, but also luxurious with all the updates! The HUGE ceilings, the magazine-perfect kitchen, the gorgeous sunroom, and the beautiful bathrooms! The beds were so comfortable, and so many bathrooms (heated floors, yes, please!) to choose from. We enjoyed walking to town for the Farmer's Market and then to dinner. The host was AMAZING!!! She answered our questions timely and provided wonderful information about the house and town. She graciously gave us an early check-in and a late check-out. After every communication with her, I'd tell my friends, "I love this lady!" There was also a delicious welcome basket waiting for us. We even forgot something, and she kindly mailed it to us. I would recommend the Doe House to anyone. What a delightful stay and host! We hope to be back."

The laundry room was used as photo/video shoot set for Speed Queen (and include the brand new, top of the line front loaders for guest use). 4 miles of walking trails around Menominee Park, fishing pier are right out your door. Boat launch, zoo, playgrounds and gorgeous lakefront are all walking distance.

Guest access
The main house living space including 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room and laundry room are exclusively for guest use during your stay. There are two shared spaces with the owner. 1. The large 2nd story deck of the master bedroom. 2. The rec room off the laundry room. Guests may not access the garage and the two bedrooms above the garage/rec room. Those are working home office spaces and the owner will be periodically using.

Since then, we’ve poured our hearts into gently updating her—most recently with a bright, welcoming new kitchen (it’s our favorite place to sip coffee in the morning) and a newly paved driveway that makes coming home feel just right.

We’re tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood where the mornings are quiet, the neighbors wave hello, and the breeze off Lake Winnebago carries a little bit of magic. While the lake isn’t directly in our backyard (it peeks through just beyond our neighbor’s home), you’re only five minutes from its shoreline—and just three minutes from a beautiful Fox River launch. Whether you love casting a line, paddling into the sunset, or just watching sunlight dance on the water, there’s a little serenity waiting for you here.

There are two grocery stores within a mile and many restaurants and bars closely located on Main Street.

Both bedrooms have clean king size beds. One bedroom includes a chaise lounge chair with a large walk in closet. A stand up adjustable mirror is included in the master closet! There is lots of space for your clothes, as both closets have room for plenty of hangers and there is dressers in each bedroom. The living room has a soft couch and lounge chair, along with an LG TV equipped with cable TV, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and more. The laundry room is fully equipped with laundry detergent and bounce dryer sheets. The kitchen has 5 total seats for eating (island with three bar stools, and corner table with 2 bar stools). Coffee grinder, maker, and cups all included in kitchen. All dishes are included in kitchen (silverware, cutlery, plates, bowls, etc). There is a microwave and toaster oven along with a gas stove top and oven. The bathroom has a brand new deep tub.

- "The house is decorated with very cool brewery memorabilia and clean. The host was easy to communicate with and left us a very cool welcome basket. We will book again next year.
