- "On arrival at 13.00 we were told that we could not have our room key until 14.30. Fair enough although most hotels that we have stayed in have been flexible on this point. Asked if they had a room for luggage while we went for lunch. No but we could leave it in the lounge. We left it and decided to go out for lunch. when we returned at 14.30 we were given the key to our room which was on the second floor despite requesting a lower floor room. When we got to our room we were annoyed to see it was a double room and not the twin room we had booked. Returned to reception to complain that a double room was not what we had booked only to be told that there was nothing they could do about it. There would be a twin available on the following day. Showed them a copy of the booking which was clearly for a twin they said there is not one available today but will be tomorrow. They said that accommodation requested was not guaranteed I accept that a low floor room request may not be possible but a twin room booking is not a request. We went to look at the other room next day, agreed that we wanted to move and had once again to wait until 2.30 to get the key. Not happy, did not eat or drink in the hotel during our stay.would not use this hotel again."

- "Great to stay over night before catching ferry home , lovely to walk down the beach in the evening , lots of food places. " - "Friendly lady reception staff at the Hotel Arcs where we collected our key for our apartment 604, receptionist walked out of hotel to point to the green garage gates for our secure parking which was underneath the apartments and a couple of minutes walk away. The apartment was spacious and light, kitchen a bit tired but more than adequate, plenty of utensils and very clean. Only used the one bedroom, bed was firm which suited us, white cotton sheets. Sitting area relaxing and spacious. Was rainy so we didn't use the terrace area which had 2 sun loungers and a dining table and chairs. Beach was about 8 min stroll away, with bars and restaurants along the way. We ate in hotel Isabel where the staff were friendly and helpful in recommendations off the menu. We were only doing a stop over from Bilbao ferry on way to Portugal, but would definitely stay again and time permitting a couple of days more."

- "We had a lovely stay in the apartment, which is located on the edge of Isla, but well in walking distance of the center and beaches. We enjoyed having breakfast in the small garden as well as dinner- we used the bbq several times. There are also good and affordable options for eating out in Isla We also enjoyed playing padel, the court is a bit worn-down, but still fine to play on. We did not use the swimming pool, but we did observe it was rarely crowded. The sea was just perfect, we mostly went to the largest, most popular (though not very crowded) guarded beach bordering on a bay where the water was shallow and calm, but there are two other beaches that you can walk to from there, which are a bit more rugged with no guards and not crowded at all. There are many excursions you can do from Isla, we recommend visiting Santander, Bilbao and the Cueva El Soplao (caves). José is a very friendly host, he awaited us when we arrived Saturday evening, being very flexible, as we had to adjust our arrival time several times due to traffic. All in all it was a perfect holiday."

- "Facilidad a la hora de dejar las llaves en el check out Aunque en el momento de recoger las llaves nos dijeron que era similar al apartamento que habíamos reservado, NO fue así. El que reservamos disponía de 2 camas pequeñas con espacio adecuado en el 2º dormitorio y el sofá cama parecía más grande. El que se nos asignó tenía una cama nido muy imcómoda que al sacarla no dejaba sitio para pasar. El sofá muy incómodo también, no apto para dormir descansando. Éramos 5 personas, y ese alojamiento no era el que había reservado on line, ni lo hubiera hecho viendo las opciones de camas que ofrecía."

- "Not very good value for money. This summer we spent 4 weeks away - this property was the most expensive we rented, but the poorest quality. The apartment is very small. There were 5 in our group (2 adults and 3 children) and we struggled with the space. It is more suitable to 2 people than a family. There are balconies, but you cannot fit more than one person on each, so there is no chance of eating outside. No AC, no fans. Some of the furnishings were very old and tired. The washing machine looked like it was 30 years old. We could hear every noise from our neighbour (and they must have been able to hear us). The swimming pool was poorly maintained, small, and hard to access. The parking space was a long way from the apartment (not ideal with children and luggage).
