This beautiful holiday home is located right at the edge of the Natural Park of Oyambre, though still within a short walk to the town centre, so it offers peace and tranquility, without being far away from the restaurants, bars, beaches and the main attractions of Comillas.

The house comprises of an entrance hall leading to a good-sized living and dining area with fireplace and fitted kitchen, a large bedroom and a master bathroom on the ground floor, and another bedroom with two single beds upstairs.

Outside there is a lovely garden of about 70 m2, with garden furniture and bbq. The views from the garden are really spectacular, and from here a few steps give access to a country lane that leads directly into the Natural Park.

Comillas lived its period of splendor in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, when its most emblematic buildings were built, favored by the initiative of Antonio López y López, emigrant to Cuba and founder of a large shipping company; his financial power and his friendship with the Crown earned him the title of Marquis of Comillas in 1882. In 1881 a Council of Ministers was held in the town, and the first public lighting in Spain was installed in Comillas.
The population will allow you to choose or vary your vacation period combining rest with activity as you like. From important cultural visits in the town itself, to mountain activities (Fuente Dé cable car, bike descents, etc.), river (Sella descent -with activity departures from Llanes-) or the classic beach, surf included (several schools in the area).

Comillas experienced its greatest period of splendor at the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, when its most emblematic buildings were built, thanks to Antonio López y López’s initiative. I have emigrated to Cuba and founded a large shipping company. His financial power and his friendship with the King of Spain earned him the title of Marquess of Comillas in 1882. In 1881 a cabinet took place in Comillas and was also here where the first public streetlight in Spain was installed.

- "We stayed 5 nights in October. Unfortunately it rained some of the time, but we still managed to find good places to eat and things to do. Our host, Jorge was extremely helpful both before and during our stay. He provided lots of information before we arrived on places to eat and visit. Undercover parking was really helpful to load and unload the car, tho beware there are stairs. If you are going in summer, the beach is just across the road, and down a few more steps. "
