Very clean, enough space, dog friendly with an xxl sealy dog bed and large & small dog bowls on location. TVs in bedrooms, family room and.living room. Kitchen had everything we needed. Close to gas station, food shopping, Walmart and Tractor Supply. We had an amazing week at this property with 2 families and 3 large dogs. We will definitely be back!!"

Welcome to our beautiful & peaceful cabin in the backwoods of east Tennessee! This is where fun memories can be made! It is a perfect place to accommodate 3 couples with children. We are 21 miles east of Knoxville located in the middle of Cherokee Lake & Douglas Lake, just 16 miles either direction. Pigeon Forge is a fun mountain resort just 22 miles away! We are 31 miles to Gatlinburg and 35 miles to the Great Smoky Mountains! Our cabin has a game room, a gorgeous outdoor patio deck with a fire pit & grill, and much more!

Their many islands offer great spots to picnic and swim as well. If you are an avid birdwatcher, you will want to visit Douglas Lake from July to early October as it is home to a migration of birds and other waterfowl.

There is ample space for parking and very minimal steps. The home is very accommodating to seniors or anyone with mobility issues. One bathroom has a large walk-in shower with one small edge to step over when entering the shower.
It is very easy to drive to the cabin. It is about five miles from Walmart and Food City and you don’t have to fight traffic to get to it. You are about 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Knoxville - but you get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

I know that’s probably not what most people look for in a vacation home, but I loved it! Ha! I loved the recliners with a view! Great place to relax after a long day. The owner was super kind, responsive and very helpful."

The Space:
Our homey apartment is very comfortable for 4 people. We do provide an air mattress that will accommodate 2 extra people in the living room. It has been recently remodeled. The home is easily accessible with only 1 small step to get to the front porch with the rest of the home all on one level.

You will have full access to the entire home using a keyless access code that is unique to you and active during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet neighborhood that is only a couple minutes from restaurants. Our home is also a short drive from Carson-Newman University, Knoxville, Morristown, Dandridge, Gatlinburg, Seveirville, Dollywood and Pigeon Forge.

Getting Around:
There is free parking in the driveway for 1-4 vehicles. Our home is conveniently located and within 2 minutes of the main 11E highway that runs through town from Knoxville to Morristown.

Communication with the property manager was easy. We added an extra day without difficulty. Beautiful farm setting near Cherokee Lake, Douglas Lake and Holston River. You’ll have the entire house to yourself. Basement excluded. Self check-in. Each room in the house is inviting and beautifully decorated. There are 5 TVs. 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. Big covered patio perfect for coffee drinking and wine sipping. Coffee maker, laundry pods, shampoo, and bars of soap available. Conveniently located 4 minutes from Cherokee Lake and Holston River. 5 minutes from Carson Newman University, shopping and many restaurants. 45 minutes from Dollywood. No pets allowed.

This family cabin is nestled among almost 2 acres of old growth hardwood trees on the main channel of Cherokee Lake. Sitting on the deck, you feel like you are uplifted in the treetops. You can see the beauty of the Cumberland Mountains on the horizon, just beyond the Cherokee Dam. The vivid sunset colors in the summer seem to change by the minute, enjoying theat view is a great way to finish the day. With that being said, it is a perfect getaway for nearly every season. The cabin offers the opportunity to disconnect from your everyday demands and reconnect with family. The cabin is located on a windy country road with large wooded lots. Deer, turkey, and other wildlife are commonly seen when driving through the area. During the summer months, you can relax on the deck, explore nature on the property, and catch fireflies at night. The summer days also provide an opportunity to spend the day on Cherokee Lake which is a TVA reservoir. Swimming in the lake is part of our daily routine. We sometimes take a night swim under the stars. Kayaks are provided as a free activity and pontoon boats can be rented from the marina across the cove or Cedar Hill Boat Dock. Cedar Hill has great customer service and great prices. Nearby Panther Creek State Park is a great place to take a hike or swim in the water surrounded by the wooded hills. It is a great destination if you rent a pontoon boat. Highly recommended. The beautiful large deck overlooking the lake makes a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or some casual outdoor dining. The property is mostly secluded with no neighbors on either side. There are frequently deer roaming in the early morning and evening. The large trees are beautiful and keep things fairly cool in the summer with abundant shade. Just spending the day playing on the lake, taking a nap, reading a book, or playing games

The cabin's interior is comfortable and cozy. The home is more of an experience to disconnect and enjoy nature. There is lots of privacy here. The home features 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. The home is appropriately 900sq feet. There is also an amazing outdoor shower with hot and cold water overlooking the lake. The outdoor shower has full privacy with large walls and elevation. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make cooking simple. There is no interior dining table, we do have tray tables & fold out tables available. There is lots of outdoor seating & place to eat. There is no dishwasher and we keep the refrigerator on the covered porch to maximize the view and space the inside the house. There is a new washer and dryer for your convenience. We also have fiber optic internet with WiFi and a smart TV. We have a gradual slope to the lake to enjoy kayaking, fishing, and swimming. We have 4 adult and 1 child kayak available for use. Enjoy our cabin for a fun family vacation, a fishing week with the boys, or a relaxing weekend away with the girls.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, most visited park in the United States is only 45 minutes away from our cabin. We highly recommend spending part of a day by the Little Pigeon mountain stream in the Chimneys Picnic area. Grills are available for every picnic table.
