- "Very modern clean rooms - surprising as it's in the old town. Restaurants are good. Their is a mosque very lose to the property which can get very noisy with calls to prayer. Also, the property should have spectacular views of the fort and does for certain rooms. Not sure why the architects didn't put a restaurant/bar on roof of tallest building. There is a bar on top of the restaurant but the views are blocked somewhat by other rooms on the property."

And Langurs hanging out on the outside. As a green haven in the midst of chaotic and honestly dirty Jodhpur this has to be expected. There are horse stables and foals on the vast grounds besides multiple animals including peacocks, langurs, herons, big big bats, we even saw a wild boar streak through the facility! Our children enjoyed the horse ride which cost Rs 1000 for 20 minutes. The place has so much undocumented history! There an old Shiva temple and step well besides numerous abandoned monuments that could tell a lot of stories if they could speak. The staff are courteous and the restaurant serves an eclectic menu although their Dal Makhani is famous throughout Jodhpur. If you love nature there is no better place to stay in Jodhpur."

- "This property is amazing. The building itself is one of the oldest Havelis in town, over 400 years old. It’s made of the beautiful red stone that gives Jodhpur such an amazing desert feel. The bedrooms are very comfortable with very pretty decor and lighting. The food was also outstanding and you can eat either on the rooftop with an amazing view of the blue part of the city and the fort or down on the ground floor with cute tables and little rooms to eat in. The food is Jain style, following strict vegetarian diet, but very tasty. The location of the hotel, which is wonderful, is also the difficult part. Do not try to take a car into the old town. We got stuck halfway to the hotel and had to turn around. Best to park in the new part of the city and take a rickshaw to the hotel. "

The hotel itself is located right near the train station so perfect for those travelling by train. It is also located on a strip of shops and only a 15 minute walk or short tuk tuk ride to the main city centre, so it is away from the hustle and bustle of the main city. The rooms are colourful and have a unique character to them, especially the courtyard/rooftop restaurant which has an amazing view of the fort. The rooms were clean with towels/toilet paper provided and there is wifi hot water in the morning and night. The only downside is that it can get noisy particularly at night due to the train or other guests in the hallway so if you are a light sleeper wear earplugs otherwise we had no issues. I also want to make special mention to Jaggis son who cooks at the rooftop restaurant upstairs- we didn’t eat anywhere else our whole time in jodhpur! The food is all made fresh and is absolutely beautiful. Some of our favourites were the pineapple lassi, paneer tikka pizza and the continental breakfast.
