Moccasin Lake is located on the Wallowa River with a bridge that leads down to the water - enjoy the 165 feet of private river frontage while you stay at this lovely cabin. The large deck on the back offers a quiet retreat with the river burbling along nearby. The yard is flat and well maintained, with a bridge that takes you to the river, making this the perfect cabin for children and adults alike! Inside this adorable cabin is a knotty-pine all-wood interior. The living room has a propane fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and comfortable seating. The kitchen is equipped with all the things you'll need to prepare wonderful meals and shares an open floor plan with the living room, so the cook can partake in the group's conversation. Both bedrooms are outfitted with comfortable queen beds and the bathroom includes a shower/tub combo. You'll also find a washer and dryer in the utility room. This is one of the most popular vacation rentals at the resort side of Wallowa Lake. Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
The bridge takes you to the Wallowa River.
No fires or fire pits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This is a smoke free, pet free vacation rental absolutely no acceptations . No Service animals they would directly threaten the health and safety of the next guest, as we offer pet free accommodations for people with pet allergies and to our house cleaner who is allergic to pet dander. The presence of an animal fundamentally alters the nature of the housing. Their would be no way we could clean thoroughly enough between guest to eliminate any and all allergens from animal left in the home. A cleaning charge of $300 and immediate cancelation will be enforce if any animals enter the rental or any smoking/vaping inside.

Unit #4 is a spectacular family-friendly unit. The bedrooms are situated on opposite ends of the condo for added privacy. The ceilings are vaulted with wood beams and large custom windows bringing in lots of natural light. The unit has high-end finishes including tile floors and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully-functional. It has a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator and is stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Some basic condiments, spices and coffee are provided. Additionally, the kitchen has a large breakfast bar with stools. From the kitchen is the living area which has ample seating and a flat-screen t.v. with Dish TV. There is also wireless internet. Off the living space is the dining nook. It is accentuated by a chandelier and large windows with views onto Main Street. At this end of the condo is a bedroom with a double and twin bed and a private bathroom. A second bathroom is in a common area outside the second bedroom which has a queen bed. Each of the bathrooms have tiled walk-in showers, granite vanities and great water pressure with instant hot water. Towels, soaps and a hair dryer are provided. This unit is a fantastic option for couples or families with kids.

🐾PET-FRIENDLY UNIT NOTICE: Our unit welcomes guests with and without pets. While many visitors without pets have a great stay, we want to remind everyone that we cannot guarantee a completely dander-free environment. This may affect individuals with dog or cat allergies.

🐶PET POLICIES FOR GUESTS WITH PETS:

NUMBER OF PETS: A maximum of 2 pets allowed per reservation. Notify us at booking or as soon as possible if there are any changes.
💲PET FEE: A non-refundable fee of $30 + tax per night for each pet is required, including for ESAs. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing any pups.

This adorable cabin is straight out of Pinterest! Simple little home in the very best ways. Enter this cute home through the new addition that has a seating bench, a private washer/dryer, and adorable old-school lockers. Step into the kitchen that has plenty of prep and cooking space with beautiful appliances and prep the family meals while looking out the windows towards Wallowa Lake. The dining area is just past the kitchen which leads into the living room. The open floor plan of the home keeps everyone together during your stay.

The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a twin day bed. The bathroom has a large tiled step-in shower and is located between the two bedrooms. The bedroom on the left has beautiful French doors that open into the living room. The living room also has beautiful large picture windows that look out onto the wrap-around deck that boasts a propane firepit and plenty of outside seating.

A small yard is located on the end of the deck which leads you to the beautiful new sauna that has incredible views of Wallowa Lake also! Enjoy your own private boat dock during your stay at the Ottertail Cabin. Read a book, soak up the sun, listen to music, browse on your phone, however you choose to spend your days, this home will be intertwined with all the memories of your stay at Wallowa Lake.

THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal private docks are typically placed for Memorial Day thru Labor Day. These are placed and pulled by a 3rd party and several variables come into play such as lake levels, snow and company availability. We do our best, but these items are non refundable items if a problem occurs with their timing of putting in the water and pulling from the water.
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
Occupancy and parking can not be exceeded.
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions but the propane fireplace is allowed.
Winter Rentals: We always recommend 4x4, chains or studded tires to get to our winter open houses. Some renters have better traction tires and can access the homes without them but we don't recommend it. Also, weather changes rapidly in our mountain location. We always suggest preparing for the worst. Also, many Les Schwab Tire Centers have the ability to purchase tire chains, and if you don't use them, will take them on return.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We offer a 12 x 17 Montana Canvas Wall tent which is sitting on a solid pine platform. The tent has electricity, a platform bed with a new foam mattress, and lush linens. A Cabela's style Lugaloo serves as your potty. A wood stove (we supply the wood) will keep you warm on cool evenings. Propane cooking, pots and pans, and a small refrigerator make this tent a comfortable home extraordinaire. Behind the Tent is a wonderful outdoor shower with heated water!

The view is incredible. Wildlife at your steps with a view of the Wallowa Mountains. The frogs will sing you to sleep. Only two miles from the charming town of Joseph, and minutes from Wallowa Lake, hiking trails, fishing and more.

We were greated with a very warm welcome, which was a wonderful plus. They were very helpful on places to eat around town. The tent has a deck, so it was nice to step outside and see all the beautiful stars at night. I don't think I have ever seen the Big Dipper so big. There was a picnick table and a fire pit, but we did not use it like I had hoped to. I would love to come and stay here in the springtime. To the west of the living area is a bedroom with a queen-sized bed with a beautiful wood bed frame, custom-made by a local artist. Views can be enjoyed out the window of the grounds and mountains. This bedroom has a private bathroom. The toilet and tiled walk-in shower are separate from the sink and vanity for easier access. There are towels, soaps and a hair dryer provided. On the east side of the unit is the second bedroom with a similar queen custom-made bed frame. Each of the bedrooms have closets with a small chest of drawers and extra pillows and linens. The second bathroom is in a common area near the second bedroom and also has a walk-in tiled shower and granite vanity stocked with the essentials. Zonal Cadet wall heaters in each of the rooms allow you to customize the temperature throughout. The unit also has fantastic water pressure and instant hot water in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Unit #2 is a comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo on the ground level of Mt. Joseph Lodge, which was formerly used as a Art Museum. This unit has fantastic access to the beautiful grounds just outside its door. The unit has high-end finishes including tile floors and stainless steel appliances. The living area has plenty of seating and a television with Dish TV as well as wireless internet. An open floor plan from the living and dining areas to the kitchen makes the unit feel more spacious. The kitchen has pots and pans, cutlery, and basic spices, condiments and coffee (a grocery store is just a block away for those interested in cooking). There is a dishwasher, microwave, gas stove and full-sized refrigerator for all the conveniences of home. Each of the two bedrooms feature queen beds with local custom-made wood bed frames and closets with a small chest of drawers. The bath is large and has a walk-in tiled shower with mounted and handheld showerheads with great water pressure and an added plus, instant hot water. Towels, a hair dryer and basic soaps are provided. Zonal cadet heaters allow you to customize the temperature in the bedrooms.
The lodge grounds are absolutely stunning. Taking up nearly a city block to themselves, enjoy the ease of access on main street to all of Joseph's amenities or simply relax or barbecue on the grounds. There is gorgeous Wallowa Mountain views to enjoy from the covered porch, patio or gazebo. Big Bend Creek as well as the expansive landscaping create the perfect for wildlife including deer and birds which frequent the property.

While it may have a small footprint, it offers some amazing amenities. The private sleeping loft showcases a comfortable queen-size mattress, while the open loft offers a full-size mattress. While best suited for two, a couple with two children can sleep comfortably. In addition, Wingin’ It has a fully stocked bathroom with an impressive full size tile shower and large mirror. We use only the finest spa quality bedding. The Kitchen and dining area includes a full-sized refrigerator, stove and dishwasher with a large deep sink. The kitchen has a bar area with seating for two and is also a great place to work from your computer. There are TV trays if you choose to sit in the living room area to work or eat. A comfortable outdoor spot is outfitted with a grill and patio set so you can enjoy the 360-degree views. Our unit is pet friendly for a small well-behaved dog and we have an available covered kennel. There is absolutely NO smoking, no parties and no more than 4 people and 2 cars.
