Moccasin Lake is located on the Wallowa River with a bridge that leads down to the water - enjoy the 165 feet of private river frontage while you stay at this lovely cabin. The large deck on the back offers a quiet retreat with the river burbling along nearby. The yard is flat and well maintained, with a bridge that takes you to the river, making this the perfect cabin for children and adults alike! Inside this adorable cabin is a knotty-pine all-wood interior. The living room has a propane fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and comfortable seating. The kitchen is equipped with all the things you'll need to prepare wonderful meals and shares an open floor plan with the living room, so the cook can partake in the group's conversation. Both bedrooms are outfitted with comfortable queen beds and the bathroom includes a shower/tub combo. You'll also find a washer and dryer in the utility room. This is one of the most popular vacation rentals at the resort side of Wallowa Lake. Even though it is situated at the end of a road, it is a short walk to the Wallowa Lake State Park, the Wallowa Lake Marina, the Wallowa Lake Tramway, and more fun activities at the south end of Wallowa Lake!

Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
The bridge takes you to the Wallowa River.
No fires or fire pits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This is a smoke free, pet free vacation rental absolutely no acceptations . No Service animals they would directly threaten the health and safety of the next guest, as we offer pet free accommodations for people with pet allergies and to our house cleaner who is allergic to pet dander. The presence of an animal fundamentally alters the nature of the housing. Their would be no way we could clean thoroughly enough between guest to eliminate any and all allergens from animal left in the home. A cleaning charge of $300 and immediate cancelation will be enforce if any animals enter the rental or any smoking/vaping inside.

🐾PET-FRIENDLY UNIT NOTICE: Our unit welcomes guests with and without pets. While many visitors without pets have a great stay, we want to remind everyone that we cannot guarantee a completely dander-free environment. This may affect individuals with dog or cat allergies.

🐶PET POLICIES FOR GUESTS WITH PETS:

NUMBER OF PETS: A maximum of 2 pets allowed per reservation. Notify us at booking or as soon as possible if there are any changes.
💲PET FEE: A non-refundable fee of $30 + tax per night for each pet is required, including for ESAs. If you plan to bring pets, please let us know at the time of booking.

BEHAVIOR AND ACCOMMODATIONS: Pets must be leashed in common areas, are not allowed on furniture or beds, and must not be left unattended in the unit.
CLEANUP: Owners must clean up after their pets; supplies are provided under the kitchen sink for indoor mishaps.

Unit #4 is a spectacular family-friendly unit. The bedrooms are situated on opposite ends of the condo for added privacy. The ceilings are vaulted with wood beams and large custom windows bringing in lots of natural light. The unit has high-end finishes including tile floors and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully-functional. It has a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator and is stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Some basic condiments, spices and coffee are provided. Additionally, the kitchen has a large breakfast bar with stools. From the kitchen is the living area which has ample seating and a flat-screen t.v. with Dish TV. There is also wireless internet. Off the living space is the dining nook. It is accentuated by a chandelier and large windows with views onto Main Street. At this end of the condo is a bedroom with a double and twin bed and a private bathroom. A second bathroom is in a common area outside the second bedroom which has a queen bed. Each of the bathrooms have tiled walk-in showers, granite vanities and great water pressure with instant hot water. Towels, soaps and a hair dryer are provided. This unit is a fantastic option for couples or families with kids.
Mt. Joseph Lodge was the former home of an art museum and has amazing character and location. Sit on the covered deck and enjoy the sounds of Big Bend Creek and the local deer and birds that call the grounds home. The large landscaped grounds just off Main Street Joseph have beautiful landscaping and gorgeous Wallowa Mountain views. Relax and read a book on the gazebo or barbecue and the patio. The location is unbeatable; it is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, art galleries, a grocery store and more, while still feeling exclusive.
