- "This was a beautiful resort! Very kind staff. I love how they are eco friendly. One thing to note is that it is a FAMILY resort. We will probably book Adult only resorts moving forward since it’s not a peaceful pool experience with all the screaming children. It’s great if you have a family though and want to enjoy a beautiful pool and view with your kids. The adult only pool had no ocean view and was quite small. The manager was very nice and the breakfast buffet was delicious. A wide variety of food and beverage options. I highly recommend staying on the resort for your meals. We walked a mile down the road to an Italian restaurant and we wished would have eaten at the resort instead. All the staff went above and beyond! The sunrises were breathtaking! Be aware that the tents are high up on the hill, so it can be a bit of an exhausting walk up back to the room. Renting a scooter makes it easier though. This place is perfect for a honeymoon! - "Pros: gorgeous complex in jungle setting close to the seas. Location is great - very good restaurants within walking distance (By the Sea and Bai Tong are both great). Delicious breakfasts with pancakes, fruit, cereal, eggs, yogurt or a Thai breakfast. Long pool to cool off or even swim. Room is large with enough storage space. AC, ceiling fan and dehumidifier worked well to keep room cool. Bedding was comfortable and you can request mattress toppers and different types of pillows. Bathroom area is "outside" - windows in shower and sink area are open. Toilet area is somewhat enclosed. The 2nd bedroom is opposite the sink area and is quite small so best for small children. There is a spa room with tub and lounge area beyond the main shower/toilet. Best of all was Suppasinj who made sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Cons: Pool table is located above bedroom (poor sound insulation when people are playing); TV satellite not working; some of the furniture is a little worn. "

The location is near Khao Pier on the east side of the island. One of the best restaurants ‘Sea Gypsy’ is located across the street. It is great value and serves the best breakfast lunch and dinner. Koyao Sunrise Villa is generously designed in a contemporary style, inspired by traditional elements and tastefully decorated with Thai furniture and art. The open tropical architecture with cement structure and local woods, bamboo and thatched roof favouring natural air circulation and is very comfortable to stay during day and night. The estate consists of 2 twostory buildings:
1) Main Villa with seaview:
