This property has everything you need to enjoy Lake Almanor in luxury, comfort and style. This is one of two homes that sit on this property; an upper home and a lower home. The upper home is the one listed on VRBO. The upper home sits at the top portion of this lakefront lot, and the other at the lower part of the lot. You are at lakes edge and on the beach in seconds after a short walk down the driveway and pavered steps. Beautiful Lake Almanor water levels can fluctuate each year based on the snow pack at higher elevations. Our dock is typically kept accessible by boat from early May to Mid-October.

- "All good" - "This beautiful home is everything you could wish for in a lakefront house. Floor to ceiling windows facing the lake provide the most incredible unobstructed lake views from sunrise to sunset. The modern kitchen and open floor plan made staying here such a joy. Throughout the day we'd gaze at the lake, admire the sunsets, and then stargaze from the outdoor wrap-around deck. After dark we enjoyed watching so many channels available on the new high-def tv/entertainment system, and were particularly impressed by the excellent WiFi coverage throughout the entire house. Everything here was comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I didn’t want to leave this beautiful home with its incredible views. We would stay here again in a heartbeat."

This large family friendly home is the perfect place for summer vacationers seeking Recreation & Relaxation. There are 3 upstairs bedrooms with one spacious bathroom, and downstairs has 1 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. Two of the upstairs rooms have their own balcony overlooking the lake. The downstairs has a large kitchen and plenty of living space, but the best part is the large wrap-around deck. Each bedroom, plus the living room, has a TV with cable.

But the main reason to spend your vacation here is the outdoors, and this place has it all. Best fishing spot on the lake is literally 20 feet off our shore. Large private beach, shallow water is perfect for kids (and there's a beautiful year-round creek coming in) with beautiful views of Lassen and breathtaking sunsets. Plenty of off-street parking, basketball hoop, volleyball/badminton area (bring your own net and equipment), horseshoe pits (bring your own shoes), and a propane bbq. Bring your own beach chairs and kayaks to really enjoy this beachfront property.

This quaint cabin is a perfect couple's weekend retreat. Lakefront property with plenty of space and off-street parking. This creekside Cabin (300 sq ft) escape is a STUDIO nestled in the forest, yet with all the city amenities. Complete with a queen bed and a full-size bed in an upper loft (wrought iron ladder access; see photos to confirm you can climb it!). This is NOT the primary bed. Full bathroom with tub/shower, recently renovated full kitchen with granite countertops, and a flat-screen TV with WiFi.

Do you need to get away? The Cabin and Cottage share 10 acres of wooded bliss. We are taking extra cleaning precautions and can provide plenty of fresh air while maintaining minimal contact with others. The Cottage at Gold Run is part of the 10 acres of Crossing at Gold Run and includes the Cabin at Gold Run that can be booked together. The entire property sits 8 miles from Susanville.

You will have the entire Cabin and its attached deck, with a propane BBQ grill, to yourself. The parking, garage, and walkways are shared with The Cottage next door (a separate short-term rental listing).

The outdoor fire pit and swings are for Cottage guests. If it looks like no one is staying in the Cottage, feel free to message us and ask if available. Please park in front of the garage and NOT drive your vehicle through the property.

Lassen County offers hunting, fishing, and incredible sightseeing opportunities. Gold Run Road ends, and the gates to the Plumas National Forest begin, where OHV use is encouraged. Numerous fire lookouts within 20 miles provide unparalleled views. World-famous Eagle Lake, Antelope Lake, and Lake Almanor are nearby. The Bizz Johnson Trail can be ridden from Mason Station to Susanville, 28 miles downhill (mostly).

Susanville is a small town with groceries and other basic stores 8 miles away.

We ask that you park in front of the garage, NOT next to the Cabin. Enter the open garage, cross the bridge, and access the Cabin. There are external security cameras over the driveway and the walkways leading to the entrances.

Pets:
You must let us know if you`re bringing dogs, and how many, before arrival. There is a maximum of 1 dog due to space constraints. Dogs are not to be left unattended and must be leashed when not in the cabin. Dogs are not allowed on furniture and please clean up feces from outdoors upon departure. There will be an additional fee based on the cost of repairs and cleaning time to prepare for the next guests.

Bring a flashlight if you plan to arrive after dark. We have outdoor lighting, but it`s in the forest, and it can be quite dark. ;-)

We love dogs at The Crossing. We ask that you never leave your pet unattended and leashed when on the property, never allow them up on the furniture, and please clean up after your dog.

Finally, since our cottage is in California, we are prone to rolling blackouts. These blackouts affect power and the internet. We have no control over when these blackouts occur, and while they’re brief, they can be inconvenient for some guests. Most guests who experience the blackouts understand it’s temporary and enjoy the peace of this amazing property; however, if you need to be connected 24/7 with zero interruptions, this may not be the property for you. Please consider this before booking.

The space
A peaceful retreat for extended families or multiple families. Here you can enjoy hiking, swimming and fishing at the nearby lakes and in the winter enjoy Coppervale Ski Hill a 15 minute drive away.

This house offers plenty of room with 5 bedrooms. There are enough beds to sleep 12 people. There are also two mattresses under the bunk bed that you can pull out and use.

The house is on 2.5 acres giving you plenty of room for children to run and play.

Home has a big kitchen with most appliances you need for cooking. Just bring the food you want.

Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and body you are welcome to use.

The deck has a fire pit and a BBQ. there may be propane left in the tank if not go to town and have it filled for your stay.. Bring Charcoa, lighter fluid and a lighterl for the BBQ.

Every bedroom has a TV and Roku where you can watch Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, Peacock and Amazon Prime. We do not have any other TV service.

DISCLAIMER: in the summer it is hot in the house. we have air conditioners in three of the five rooms and a big swamp cooler in the kitchen. we are looking into getting an air conditioner for the whole house.

Pet friendly, Nestled behind a church and close to everything. Walking distance to Buffalo Chips Pizza and Blue Ox Bakery and Cafe.
