Driving distance to more shops and restaurants in town. They do have dining restaurants and casino on site. But, none of us gamble. I do hope their restaurants have better food and faster services, and no smoking at casino. But, I don't think that exist. We do valet parking all the time very easy and they charge our car for us. Peaceful area, not as much activities as Northstars and South Tahoe side. May not fit for everyone. "

Great kitchen stocked with cooking equipment and some food including spices, teas, etc. Responsive contacts by phone or text. Two downsides--traffic noise from Rt 28 and malfunctioning refrigerator. We followed instructions on it to wait 24 hr from check in to call if not cooling. So we did but a technician did arrive until 24 hr later. By then we were mostly through our stay. He was unable to repair refrigerator but did lend us his Yeti cooler. Would recommend to call AvantStay as soon as trouble arises and not wait."
