Driving distance to more shops and restaurants in town. They do have dining restaurants and casino on site. But, none of us gamble. We just enjoyed the easy access to the ski resort, nice pools and hot spa, clean and quick café for breakfast and coffee. I do hope their restaurants have better food and faster services, and no smoking at casino. But, I don't think that exist. We do valet parking all the time very easy and they charge our car for us. Peaceful area, not as much activities as Northstars and South Tahoe side. May not fit for everyone. "

The ground level of the home is reserved for communal areas and activities, while the upper level houses all four of the sleeping accommodations. "Polaris Place" is just 5 minutes from the heart of Tahoe City, w/various shopping options, a movie theater, restaurants, and a popular public beach. It is also within 30 minutes of multiple ski resorts, including Palisades Tahoe and Northstar Resort.

As you walk through the entrance door, the sunken living area is straight ahead and features two sizable couches for lounging, stone coffee tables, a wood-burning fireplace, plenty of games and books, and access to a wrap-around terrace w/ a breathtaking view of the lake. The kitchen and dedicated dining area are elevated and overlook the living room. Everything you need to prepare a great meal is readily available in the open-concept kitchen that includes an expansive island with a built-in stovetop and griddle. Up to eight guests can eat at the huge wooden dining room table. Next, an indoor/outdoor patio w/sliding glass doors that fully open so you can take in the lake's gorgeous view while working out using the exercise bike, treadmill, or yoga mats provided. On the other side of the living room, you will find a half bathroom and a large laundry room.

Up the carpeted stairs are all 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The first is the enormous Primary bedroom boasting a King sized canopy bed and two rocking chairs positioned to gaze at the stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the Lake. End the day relaxing in the large soaking tub, then curling up next to a fire and a smart TV movie. This Primary's ensuite has a tiled tub, open standup shower, double sink vanity, and a laundry chute to the washroom below. It also has an exit to a private, lake-facing balcony that's only shared w/ guests in the adjacent bedroom.

The spacious second bedroom is just down the hall and features a bunk bed and a Cal King bed, plus balcony access. Its ensuite holds a laundry chute, a big vanity, and a cobalt blue tiled shower-tub combo.

- The driveway is a bit steep, but should not be a problem since it is also HEATED.
-Typical of most homes in the Tahoe area, this unit does not have central A/C.
-There are several sets of stairs throughout the home.
- There are 2 exterior security cameras in use.
- The two outer garage bays are not available for guest use.

Home away from home, conveniently located in downtown Tahoe City and a 3 minute walk to Lake Tahoe and downtown. One large room private, shared in my two bedroom home with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and carefree.

The space
Located 3 min. walk from downtown Tahoe City and Lake Tahoe. Very comfortable home and you have use of the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry area, private bathroom, deck, outdoor seating, parking space and private bedroom with new memory foam queen bed, desk, and a dresser and hanging cloths rack.

Uses of entire home except one private bedroom for owner of house.

During your stay
I will be out working most days at my Day Spa or playing outside. Guest can always text with questions.

This is the perfect base camp for all your Tahoe adventures! Just steps away from hiking and biking trails, a 15 minute walk to the lake and downtown KB (2 min drive), a 15 minute drive to Diamond Peak and Northstar, and just 20 to Tahoe City.

The space
The Forest Studio Basecamp (450 sq ft) has a private entrance.

**The Studio is on the first floor of our three story home. We are a local family with young children who lives upstairs, it is likely you will hear our toddler upstairs or some walking noises during your stay.**

The kitchenette has a fridge and freezer, microwave, electric kettle, and pour over coffee pot. There is not a stove or oven.

There are room darkening curtains on the main windows, and a suction cup blackout curtain for the glass door is provided in the bottom drawer of the dresser, so go ahead, sleep in!

While the listing says that it is only for two people, an additional child is welcome : ) If you are hoping to bring your baby or child, just let us know when you request to book. Children two and under are free, children age 3-12 will require an additional guest fee.

This house does not have air conditioning. On rare warm nights we recommend opening the window and using the fan.

Lake Tahoe is in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and during the winter it snows (and hopefully a lot), so If you plan to arrive during the winter months you must be prepared for winter driving, snow tires, chains, all wheel drive etc.

There are bears in Tahoe! Please treat them with respect, do not feed them, or leave any food in your car, or trash outside.

The fully stocked kitchen with items such as drip coffee maker, crockpot, (start the meal before you leave the house), blender, toaster, multiple glass and plastic drinkware and many cooking utensils and tableware. The owners have kept their cabin very family friendly for your stay. The living room has a sectional seating couch, Samsung Apple TV, wood-burning fireplace (wood not provided), free Wi-Fi (421 Mbps), central heating, no A/C (room fans for summer use) and full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room (where you will find the hot tub towels). The card table and four folding chairs and many games and books will also come in handy for family time.

This comfortable cabin has a 6-person private hot tub in the backyard, a gas grill on the back deck and front and back deck with seating. The private driveway has parking for 3 vehicles (2 in winter, no street parking allowed).

Configuration:
The main floor has living room, kitchen, dining area, one bedroom with queen bed, seating area and backyard access. One full bathroom (standing shower) and laundry room (New Washer and Dryer). The upper floor has a primary bedroom with a king bed, dresser, love seat, armoire and Smart TV. The second bedroom upstairs has a twin-over-queen bed and a twin-over-full bunk beds, dresser, armoire and Smart TV. The upstairs bathroom also has a standing shower.

Located in scenic Kings Beach, this home is minutes from Lake Tahoe’s crystal-clear waters and sandy shores. Enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking in the summer, or hit the slopes at Northstar and Palisades Tahoe in the winter. Local restaurants, shops, and casinos are just a short drive away.

Welcome! This cozy studio is perfect for couples and small families or friends who want a centrally located and comfortable stay after a long day of exploring the outdoors. Relax by the fireplace or enjoy a glass of wine on the outdoor patio while you soak in the fresh mountain air. The condo is thoughtfully decorated with mountain décor that give you the cozy and warm feeling you desire in the mountains. The Kings Run community also features a hot tub and game room for all to enjoy.

The space
The space has a queen bed and a queen pull out sofa bed. The sofa was JUST replaced and all bedding is new. Light the fireplace with a click of a button and enjoy the warmth from the fire with a fan in the fireplace.

The kitchen is a full kitchen (no dishwasher) with basic utensils, plates, cups, bowls, standard coffee pot and pour over.

There is a full bathroom which includes soaps, shampoo and conditioner.

Enjoy the warm community hot tub after a full day in Lake Tahoe.

Our one-bedroom apartment is located in the peaceful area of Olympic Valley, in a dead-end street with limited traffic which add to your retreat. You'll have your own entrance which gives you your privacy. You can enjoy walking along the beautiful Olympic Valley meadow to the Village (0.8 miles) or walk through the quiet neighborhood...or be right there driving. Hiking Granite Peak or Shirley Canyon, biking along the meadow and the Truckee River to Tahoe City, Downhill skiing, snowshoeing.

Our one-bedroom apartment has a full kitchen with granite countertop, full fridge, dishwasher (soap provided). One bedroom with King size bed, walking closet and working desk. Nice bathroom with shower, soap and shampoo. Washer and dryer (soap provided). Iron and Iron board. Hydronic radiant heating floor.
This apartment is perfect for 2 guests (550 Sq Ft).
There is one parking spot at the lower driveway, in front of the apartment. If more than 1 parking spot is needed, it will have to be discussed at the time of reservation.

Guest access
The apartment is located in our main house but guests have their main entrance which makes it very private. Guests do not have access to our main house.
Easy parking space! We do have a parking space available for you in our lower driveway right in front of your apartment.
