If you are looking for a private escape to relax and recharge, look no further! We are located in a quiet wooded area only minutes from I 64 and the Tri-State Airport. Love to Fish? Our pond features catch and release fishing stocked with Bluegill, bass and catfish.

"Country Roads Take Me Home" to Almost Heaven Lodge. Just minutes from, Beech Fork State Park, downtown Huntington, the airport, Ashland KY, and Marshall University! Here you'll find modern appliances, laminate wood flooring with carpet in bedrooms, leather couches, a king and queen bed, a full kitchen, a full bathroom, laundry room, dining room, two decks, and a fire pit outside. The house is located right on Twelve Pole Creek. The home is fully furnished and ready for all guests for their stay.

Living Room.
There are three couches/recliners in the Living Room with five recliners total. There is a large ROKU TV, a DVD player with hundreds of DVDS, and surround sound speakers. There are blankets that get washed after every stay located in the Living Room for guests to use.

Dining Room.
There are six seats at this table for the entire family. The thermostat is also located in the Dining Room.

Master Bedroom.
There is a king bed in the Master Bedroom. There are lamps on each nightstand, a nightlight, alarm clock, a dresser for guests' clothes, a walk-in closet with hangers ready for guests, two cotton robes/slippers, and also a fan. There is a ROKU TV in the Master Bedroom.

Bathroom.
There is one full bathroom with everything guests will need. There is Dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner already in the shower for guests. All towels and linens are clean and folded in the closet. There is a hair dryer in the closet as well.

Laundry Room.
There is a washer and dryer in the Laundry Room that guests will be able to use. There is space in the Laundry Room for guests to hang clothes as well. The Laundry Room has detergent and dryer sheets already. There is also an iron and ironing board. There are extra pillows and blankets in the Laundry Room.

Second Bedroom.
There is a queen bed in the second bedroom. There is a closet with hangers for guests. There is a dresser in this bedroom for guests to use as well. There is a lamp and alarm clock in this bedroom. In the closet guests will find multiple board games that they can play while staying.

Kitchen.
The kitchen has every appliance that a guest could need. The kitchen is fully furnished with every utensil/item they would need during a stay. There is a Keurig coffee maker and there will be coffee for all guests.

The house has two large wooden decks. On the back deck there is a grill that guests can grill out on during their stay. Behind the house guests will be able to sit beside the fire and make smores (yes, the smores are included in the stay.) There are fire starters and a lighter under the sink in the kitchen. The firewood is neatly stacked beside the fire pit. The firewood is stacked in separate bundles by the firepit. The bundles are $5.00 a piece. Guests can leave cash inside the house or scan the QR code outside by the firewood for my Venmo.

There are Ring cameras on the front and side porches. The house has working carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and a first aid kit.

My food truck served near by for 2 days, so we needed a spot for our employees to sleep, as well as a spot to plug into an external outlet. Brennan was gracious enough to have an extension cord waiting (I offered to pay additional for extra electric usage). The attention to details was wonderful - labels on everything to minimize any confusion on listed amenities, snacks & movies galore... it was perfect! The Space:
Our space features 3 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with a Roku TV, perfect for unwinding before bed or relaxing in the morning. The bedrooms are also designed for your comfort. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed with a high-quality memory foam mattress, and a third bedroom with bunk beds that have comfortable hybrid mattresses.

The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and fresh towels.

Our kitchen is stocked with dishes, including children's plastic dishes, and we have everything you need to prepare meals, including pots, pans, a cutting board, knives, and other cooking utensils. There is also a microwave, toaster, and Keurig for your convenience. We provide basic cooking essentials such as salt, pepper, and cooking spray.

The living room is the perfect place to hang out and unwind, with a comfortable sofa, a love seat, and Roku TV. There is also a desk available for those who need to be able to work during their stay.

Just 4 minutes to I-64, Ritter Park and Cabell Huntington Hospital; less than 10 minutes to Huntington downtown or Marshall University with various options for dining or shopping. Couldn’t be more convenient!

Beautiful house on the hill with 27-step stair with 3 flights and 3 landings to the main floor where you will find 3 bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen and dining area. The basement is for laundry.

Free parking spaces (maximum 2 cars) on street across the house is available anytime.
Being on a hill, therefore, the house gets plenty of sunlight and a view of the woods. The short windy, hilly road that leads here and the steps to the house suggest that this place is not going to work for people with mobility challenges.

Other things to note
* 2 Pets are allowed but we ask you tell us about your good fur babies before approval, and we love pictures! Must be flea treated and crated any time left alone. For each stay, we charge a $25 deep-cleaning fee. Clean up after your pets and Respect our house.
Stays over 1 week with pets may require deposit, depending on size, age, etc. Just talk with us!

** Bedroom #3 can be set up with 2 XL twin beds or 1 king bed with mattress topper. It depends on guests demand.

But a breath-taking view of colorful tree tops as far as the eye can see. Now, if you are not familiar with how to navigate up a winding single lane country road, you may like to practice before arrival. Enjoy time in Huntington with a small crew or large group at this peaceful and adorable home. Within a couple of miles to anything in the area, this home is conveniently located off of Norway Avenue. Not only can you get everywhere quickly, but the space is amazing. Stay in and grill out on the huge outdoor deck area or shoot downtown to the numerous restaurants and bars to choose from. No matter the reason for your visit you can feel at home here.
The space
This is a 3 bed 1.5 bath home. The first bedroom has a queen and twin bed. The second has one queen bed and the finished attic has two twins. There is a full kitchen with brand new appliances and a gas range stove. Outside you will find a huge deck with a grill and propane fire pit.

Guests will use the touchpad door lock to access the home. Each group will receive a unique access code that will be deleted after checkout.
Other things to note
Please make sure to turn off the propane tanks if you use the grill or the fire pit.
