We were asked to choose our breakfast for the morning, by selecting from a laminated picture menu. I have to say I did not expect much. We were given the option to have breakfast in our room, or in reception and we could pick a time. When it came the breakfast was fantastic, and hot! (I had full english and my partner had vegetarian). The room was clean and airy with a view of the square outside. The mattress was very comfortable. The tv is big and easy to use, and the bathroom was clean, had a proper hair dryer and straighteners, and toiletries including toothbrush and shower cap. All in all I was very happy with our stay, and the location was excellent, so near to the Lanes, restaurants and Highcross. We parked in the NCP car park by the Holiday Inn; not the cheapest at £20 per 24 hrs, but safe and only a short walk away. I would recommend this hotel."
