Booking was complete and confirmed with usual email confirmation and number. The day of , prior to checking in, messaged the host for check-in instructions since I still haven’t received any information. I was never “booked” because they were fully booked, and they blamed the system. When the host replied, they basically said sorry, system issue, and have a nice day. Not caring that it was very inconvenient and not professional in the fact that they should have been more aware and caught this issue prior to the day of. So just be careful when booking and triple-check if you do decide to book this place to avoid this issue. An issue that shouldn’t have occurred in the first place if people simply performed their duties diligently."

Located just over the cape fear bridge. In the heart of Leland this vacation rental offers you a cozy and relaxing get away. The 3 bedroom and 2 bath home offers you a spacious place for you and your family. Just a short drive from wilmington attractions, like the North Carolina battleship, The River walk, Wilmington water tours, The picturesque Airlie gardens, Downtown cotton exchange, etc. Wrightsville Beach is only a short drive away of 15 miles.

We sat outside often, and the area was quiet and peaceful. The VRBO photos depict the property well. The property host (Irma) was so very easy to work with. Any inquiries that we made prior to our visit were quickly addressed. The only issue that we had once on the premises, was that my husband couldn't find the remote control for the TV! Irma was quick to respond and all was well. Front loader washer and dryer was convenient. Coffee pot was at the ready. Large refrigerator/freezer was helpful. We didn't travel to the beach, nor do any sightseeing, as we were there to visit family. However, there is easy access to a number of stores for groceries, forgotten vacation needs etc., as well as any number of routes to take you to all that the Leland/Wilmington area has to offer. All-in-all, we really enjoyed the property, and we'd definitely like to use it again on our next trip to visit the kids."

- "Had a great visit to the Wilmington for the July 4th holiday. This house is very comfortable, has all the amenities needed for our group. Certainly recommend to families like ours (6 total) where plenty of room inside to wait out a tropical storm like we did and close to a great park. We felt very safe in the neighborhood as well. Last, the local gas station sells these Burneys things that I think are called "cronuts". Seriously addicting."
