- "Well, the house is nice inside, plenty of space. Clean. But there are some things that were a little....well, there's a "shed" chicken coop looking building in the back that's full of garbage. There are pictures of it in the pics and it's not how it looks in the pocs- its just a place where trash was thrown and there's trash stacked on top of the sinks etc so you can't use any of that area. There is no gas grill, just a rusty charcoal one among the junk at the building. It says private walk to the beach- not true. You are about a one mile walk from the beach across busy roads, mostly without sidewalks. Not a Walk that I wanted to make with 2 adults 2 kids and a dog. It says on site snorkeling and hunting in the description. Unless you're driveway snorkeling I don't see how that's possible. And the pics of a swing next to what looks like a lake- no idea where that came from. Never saw it. So yes the house itself is nice but the location is very misleading on many different levels. The beach is nowhere to be seen without a drive to it. And the fenced in backyard is very small and the junky building inside it full of trash with rusty items etc should've been cleaned up long ago. And, I was so pleasantly surprised by this little motel. I stayed in room 213 and was able to see the ocean and 2 lighthouses at night. I could hear the waves and was a quick little walk down to the sand where I spent most of my time. The dunes were quite high and most of the beach was hard sand because the tide came up quite high. But, the friendly staff helped me fix my newly installed smart TV. To room cooled and kept temperature very very well I was so comfortable that when I got sunburnt I hated how efficient it was. My only downfall because was the microwave was down in the other side of the motel so, I had to do the walk of shame with my chips and queso. But, I loved that it was not a huge touristy town. It was just simply blissful for me. And, walking distance to 2 bars right next door. Just be careful you may be the youngest in the whole bar. I couldn’t be happier. "

As soon as I opened the door, I noticed that the room smelled "clean" - not like cleaners or chemicals, but just new and clean. Everything was actually very clean and neat in the room. The bed was also super comfy, which I very rarely say about hotels/motels. Five stars from us and we would definitely stay again! "
