Bright, cozy apartment with a breathtaking view on the Gulf of Poets. The house is on the hills of Lerici, surrounded by nature and quiet. Private entrance and parking. The location is ideal to reach the town of Lerici even by foot (20 mins downhill) or bus (frequent service during summer).
The apartment is completely renewed and it consists of a kitchen, an openspace livingroom and dining room, a large balcony with laundry corner and a toilet on the ground floor; three bedrooms and a second toilet on the firts floor. The apartment is furnished with washing machine, dish washer, hair dryer, fridge, fans. The balcony is accessible from both the kitchen and the living room. We have wifi.
Before your arrival we sanitize the apartment using an ozone-emitting machine (Airwater plus) certified by the Ministry of Health (prot. n. 24482 of July 31, 1996 and "disinfectant agent in the treatment of air and water" with CNSA of October 27, 2010).
Check in (13-22pm): We always welcome our guests in person, so that we can help them with everything they need. We are also available during the stay for every request.

The area
The house is on the hills of Lerici, in a quiet location. You can easily reach (even on foot) the towns nearby, such as La Serra (800 mt) and Lerici (1,5 km), but also Tellaro (4 km), Pugliola (1 km), Monte Marcello (7 km).
The view from the house is stunning: you can see the whole Gulf of Poets, Lerici, Porto Venere, the isles Palmaria and Tino.
The location is perfect for everyone: we have a lot of pathways of those who love trekking, both equipped and free beaches, hidden bays, restaurants, a fervent nightlife (during summer), beautiful towns on the sea, medieval towns in the countryside, vineyards, the main historical cities in the north easily reachable (Pisa, Florence, Milan, Genoa, Forte dei Marmi, Turin, Bologna etc)...
The closest stations are in Sarzana (7,5 km) and La Spezia (11 km).
Le Cinque Terre - The Five Lands - (about 30 km) can be reached by car or train from La Spezia. From Lerici, during summer, there are boats to Porto Venere, Palmaria, Cinque Terre, Levanto, Tellaro, La Spezia.

When you arrive at the property you are presented with the phone number to call the reception which is located somewhere else. When I called up the woman on the phone was not very helpful and trying to give me directions to get to reception which are down the road across the Roundabout up the hill and about one kilometer away. - "Sky and Elephant Incredible! We can only echo the superlative comments made by others. We can add some credibility to them because we have lived in this village and environs for seven years. We know what a special treat this particular place is. Having available dedicated parking is very important if you come by car. Even with a car, be prepared for a lot of steps. Mosquitoes go with the territory so also be prepared for that. You can find local products to repel but none seemed 100% perfect. Paradise comes at a price but for a family of six it’s a fraction of what one would have to pay at a local hotel. Andrea and family have seen to it that you have everything you need to get started and Lerici has everything you will need to continue including delicious take-out including local specialities like stuffed mussels and pesto lasagna. Dining as a family al fresco either in the garden at entry level or the terrace with the panoramic view two stories up was a special treat for us. Although the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils we relied mostly on pre-prepared dishes from the markets. With six people the washing machine was in regular use and worked fine. If we return to Lerici for another reunion Sky and Elephant will be our first choice for a place to stay. It helped us create wonderful memories."

The property directly overlooking tha bay of Fiascherino in Tellaro, in the extraordinary Gulf of Poets, is located in a large garden in direct contact with the cliff and the sea in a stretch not open to the public, with a private rocky beach with sea beds reserved for guests.
The garden is almost entirely a lawn with bushes, tall trees and precious essences of short stature. The garden is also crossed by several paths and shorts stone steps, and is open on all sides the view of the sea below and the magic skyline with the islands of Palmaria e Tino, and the superb village of Portovenere.
The property consists of the main villa on two levels, consisting of 4 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, laundry area, large kitchen, living room and dining room, as well as a large terrace directly overlooking the sea (the living room and a dining room are surrounded by five big french windows on the house terrace and are equipped with wrought iron table, sofa and armchairs), and the "dependance" on two levels consisting of a living room and a dining room, with kitchen and bathroom on the grown floor and two doubole rooms, one with private terrace, and a large terrace at the first floor. In the sea terrace there is a natural stone barbecue where you can cook grilled food with fish and meat in direct contact with the sea. On the sea you have a flat platform with private sea beds.
To reach the entrance of the property from the street there is a flight of large steps, of about 40 meters (totally 33 large steps)
The picturesque village of Tellaro is a five-minute walk, and the town of Lerici, which is a popular tourist site is five minutes by car or bus.
The place is well connected with the surroundings and overlooks the Gulf of Poets exactly in front of Portovenere and the Cinque terre area. You can easily reach these places with your own cars or with pubblic transport, bus or train, and also by the sea with private boats for hire and ferries.
The extraordinary location, absolutely isolated, the large garden with every comfort available, direct access to the sea and the private beach allow a privileged stay and allow you to avoid any contact with the outside world.

Fiascherino is located between Lerici and Tellaro. Both are within walking distance. So is the beach. The space
Built in the early 20th century, the villa has been lovingly restored with the help of the Tuscan architect Francesco Ridolfi. The villa is seamlessly updated for modern comforts with authentic, local flair.
The villa has its own entrance and it consists of two large villas connected by a balcony. The common areas consist of a large living room, a dining room, a separate kitchen overlooking the sea.
There are 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and ample storage space and wardrobes in each room. It can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people in its romantic and charming atmosphere. All rooms have sea view.
Stairs will lead you through to the infinity pool (with trampoline), offering also a dining space, a gazebo bar and hot shower.

The kitchen comes with all appliances (fridge, microwave, dishwasher) and there is also a wood fire oven in one of the gardens.

From the Villa you can easily reach the center of Lerici in 5 minutes walking, in front of the house entrance. Lerici offers many restaurants, an old harbor and a beautiful promenade by the sea. Ferries departing from Lerici will take you to Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Palmaria Island and other day trips. If you are into jogging there are many paths, for example the one from Lerici to San Terenzo Castle (2 km) and the natural reserve of Montemarcello.
From the harbor to Lerici you can rent boats and cycles.

The chalet was quaint as well, located at the bottom of about 50 stairs, making trekking luggage up and down a little challenging, but everything else makes up for that! The appartement is rather big but when you are 4 people 2 must sleep in the livingroom. Arriving on a saturday is a little problematic.
