It is a 2 bedroom cottage fully self contained and sleeps 4 people.

The waters around Loch Sport are ideal for windsurfing, sailing, cruising, and water skiing, fishing and even parasailing. Offering 90 miles of golden beaches and 41 thousand hectares of Lake System.
It also has direct access to the 90 Mile Beach and is surrounded by National and Coastal Parkland. For all keen budding fishermen Loch Sport offers lake fishing from a boat the banks or a jetty. Loch Sport is nestled on a secluded peninsula on the southern shore of Lake Victoria. Just one body of water in the most extensive lake system in Australia, known as the Gippsland Lakes. The Gippsland Lakes region has been referred to as Victoria's Riviera. The district is renowned for its temperate weather, generally being warmer in winter and cooler in summer than Melbourne. What's more Loch Sport boasts the best access to the Gippsland Lakes, PLUS the 90 Mile Ocean Beach, of all the townships dotting the Lakes system.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN LOCH SPORT

Loch Sport is the perfect venue for water based holiday activities - from windsurfing, sailing, cruising, sea kayaking, water skiing, fishing (lake, jetty or ocean) or just paddling or lazing on the beach. If you're into long walks or bike rides through tranquil bush walking tracks then this is the place for you. If you have a boat there are several launching ramps and it's only 20 or 30 minutes to Paynesville, Raymond Island, Picnic Arm, Duck Arm, Rotamah Island or Ocean Grange. Or you may just like to jump in the car, take the short drive down to Sperm Whale Head in the Lakes National Park and enjoy the free BBQ facilities.

Zara's Lakeside Getaway is a luxury pet friendly beach house set on Lake Victoria. Our house is a short distance to the beautiful 90-mile surf beach, which is approximately an 8-minute drive past the bakery and then over Lake Reeve.
A great location for fishing, boating, bush walking, swimming or just relaxing on the lake or beach. The Lakeview Bar and Bistro is across the road and other eateries are close by and within easy walking distance. There's a couple of general stores/supermarket and chemist a short distance from our house, just in case you forgot to take something.
Open plan comfortable living upstairs with uninterrupted lake views from the living area or from the large outdoor decking where you can just relax and have a BBQ.

Villa Reeve is an architecturally designed, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, double story house. Comfortably accommodating up to 7 people.

The house is located on the quiet side of Loch Sport on a large sloping block with elevated rare views of the meandering Lake Reeve and the Lakes National Park. The ever-changing scenery of the lake from above the tree tops, with an abundance of bird life will instantly relax you. If you are extremely lucky and on a clear day you may get an ocean glimpse, which is unique to just a couple of properties on White Crescent. The view of the mountains to the north is also mesmerising.

The large wrap around balcony that faces toward 90 Mile Beach, will have you captivated as you look out into the wilds of Loch Sport. Getting up early with a Nespresso coffee in hand and watching the sun rise from the balcony is truly an incredible experience.

In just a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive north, you can begin your day at Lake Victoria. Here you can relax on the white sand beach or paddle in the gentle lake waters. If conditions allow, Lake Victoria becomes a mecca for Windsurfing, Kite-surfing and Paddle-boarding. Just a 2 minute drive South via the causeway you will arrive at Loch Sport's jewel in the crown - 90 Mile Beach. Spend your time sun baking on the sand, swimming in the surf or fishing from the waters edge. There are many occasions when you can be completely alone on 90 Mile Beach.

Enjoy the views from inside the house or from the deck. all you have to do is sit and relax and take in the serenity of the area.

The house is situated one street from the lake where you can try fishing for mullet and bream at sunset and enjoy the great views as well.
The 90 mile beach is not far, a close drive will take you to the surf beach where good catches of salmon, tailor and flathead with gummy shark at dusk can be targeted.
The McLennan Straits is also good for nice bream and mullet.
so if you like your fishing, you have a choice of the lake, surf or straits.
The 20 minute drive through the National Park will take you through some native bushland and wildlife onto the Jetty and sandy lake beach. Bush BBQs available.
The bakery, shops, Sanctuary Café, RSL, Golf, Marina Restaurant are all not far, just a short drive.
if you still crave your shopping then Sale is just about 40 mins drive.

Lake Victoria foreshore bike/walking path runs across the front of the property. Local grocery store (The Lodge), is a ten minute walk along this path. A Pinch of Paradise is a charming beach home, only one street back from the water edge of Lake Victoria and is located in a quiet court location! There is nothing you will not love here with all the amenities of town within a casual stroll. Perfect location to bring the kids on holidays with skate park and playground just around the corner as well. There is an RSL, pub, bowls club, boat club and tennis courts all within walking distance.

The Ninety mile surf beach is within a five min drive for those keen fishing people or just a dip. For the keen coffee tastes, try out Lochy Coffee located a couple mins walk next door to the Foodworks supermarket. Bring the clubs for a great game of golf, or hire them at the Loch Sport Golf club. The National Park is also a great drive, you may even experience our wildlife, or have a BBQ at Point Wilson.

The beach house has a spacious under cover deck spanning along the front of the home as well as a rear deck which is perfect for catching the summer sun in the afternoon. All elements of outdoor living are covered here with decking on both the front and rear of the home to relax and enjoy both the morning and evening sun. There is a gas BBQ on the back deck along with mozzie zappers for your use.

The open plan living room has a TV with Netflix and a sound bar with Bluetooth so you can pair your music to. There is free WiFi and the home is cooled and heated by reverse cycle air-conditioning located in the living room along with tinted windows for extra privacy and ceiling fans The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with a decent sized fridge/freezer.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and wardrobe. The second bedroom has single bunk beds and a double bed with a chest of drawers. There is a port a cot available. The bedrooms are both central to the main bathroom with the addition of a second toilet.

The house is located on a large block that can fit a boat if you are planning on doing some fishing or water skiing.

Note: You will need to bring your own towels and linen (bed sheets, doona cover and pillow cases). We have young kids (7 year olds) and so we know how difficult it can be to take a break and have to pack so many things. Therefore, we have a port a cot, high chair, change mat, double pram, wipes and kids cups/plates/cuttlery for you to use. You are walking distance to the playground, beach, basketball court and skate park, every kids dream.

Cleaning
You do not need to do a full clean of the property upon departure, however, we do require the home to be left clean and tidy on departure in a similar state as to how you found the property upon your arrival.
If the property is not left in a reasonable standard an additional charge for cleaning will be deducted from your bond.
We do organise for the property to be cleaned after your departure to ensure that the next guest has a hygienic comfortable stay and complies with our standards.

The perfect holiday venue set amongst the beautiful Gippsland Lakes, the 90 Mile Surf Beach and the safe waters of Lake Victoria Chez Reeve is the perfect venue for water based holiday activities – from toddlers splashing in the shallows of the lake to surf fishing in the ocean.
The area is a haven for wildlife and provides the ideal location for families or couples to relax and totally unwind. You have the option to treat your pet to a great holiday too.
For the keen budding fisherman lake fishing from a boat the banks or a jetty is just a 300 meters walk. You can surf fish from many spots along Lake Victoria or the 90 Mile Beach. In addition to fishing there are excellent safe swimming sites along the sheltered lake shore.

The house itself is three bedrooms, and the bedding configuration is 2 Queen beds and 4 Single bed (Bunks). A maximum number of 8 guests can be accommodated here at Chez Reeve. There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the main living area and a wood fire heater, with dispersion fans in all main living areas and bedrooms.

Please note that Linen and towels are not included at this property. Linen hire can be arranged, please speak with us about the option of hiring linen and towels (linen charge applies $30 per bed)

Whilst this property is pet friendly, it is dogs only. Strictly no Cats.

- "Fantastic home in the center of Loch Sports, very bright and warm house to sit back and relax.my third time staying here and I can’t see any better accommodation in Loch sports and I will be back." - "We loved our stay, the property was well maintained. Living space was great and the view was lovely. The bed was a little less than great. Power went out a few times which meant no water due to running on tank water. But other than that it was great. We took out hard drive with movies and glad we did as tv reception is terrible and if lots of people there internet on phone is very crap. Cooking wise it had everything you'd need. Bring food with you. The local foodworks is limited on stuff. Sale is the closest place to get food. We will definitely try and stay again."

Wattle Views sleeps up to 6 people with a queen bed in each of the two bedrooms and bunk beds (single upper and down) in the main room.

The cottage, which has been refurbished and repainted, contains a fully equipped kitchen and entertainment facilities with Microwave, Fridge, large screen HD TV, DVD Player, reverse cycle air conditioner and gas BBQ available outside. The bathroom/laundry is located under the main living area with external access.

The cottage has been our much loved holiday getaway for over 20 years. There is so much to do in the area be it fishing on the ninety mile beach or the lake, bushwalking in the national park, playing tennis or golf or relax out on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine as you take in the plentiful wildlife and the magnificent views of Lake Victoria.
Surrounded by tea tree and native trees the cottage offers a quiet refuge from the outside world.

You will need to bring your own linen and towels. Doonas, blankets and pillows are provided. Dish cloths and tea towels are also provided. Linen and towels can also be hired locally in Loch Sport.

WATER SPORTS

Loch Sport is set amongst the beautiful Gippsland Lakes, 35 Mins from Sale, close to the 90 Mile Surf Beach and the safe waters of Lake Victoria this is the perfect venue for water based holiday activities - from toddlers splashing in the shallows of the lake to surf fishing in the ocean. The waters around Loch Sport are ideal for windsurfing, sailing, cruising, kayaking, water skiing and fishing.
Loch Sport has direct access to the 90 Mile Beach and is surrounded by National and Coastal Parkland. Loch Sport offers lake fishing either by boat or off the lake beaches or jetty. You can also fish for gummies, salmon, flathead, bream, tailor and crabs from many spots along the 90 Mile Beach. In addition to fishing there are excellent safe swimming sites along the sheltered lake shore just down from the cottage.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

There are numerous walking and cycling tracks around the town and along the shores of the Lake.
A highlight of your trip may be a visit to the Lakes National Park where wildlife is prolific - Kangaroos, swamp wallaby, sea eagles, hog deer, common wombat, short-beaked echidna, koala and common bush tail possum and many more. But don't be surprised to see kangaroos, koalas and possums in your very own backyard.

Loch Sport offers great facilities for visitors including a Pub, RSL, Marina, Tennis Courts, Bowls Club, Golf Course, Mini Golf, Children's Park, Boat Club, Bakery and Supermarket.
