3 miles from Lake Murray, nearest public access is Marietta Landing. Boat rentals are available at private marina Murray Harbor. Lake Murray is great for fishing, skiing, wakeboarding. There are mountain bike and hiking trails at Lake Murray as it is a state park.

The Lake Murray state park lodge is 15 minutes away featuring an 18-hole golf course, boat and jet ski rentals, playground areas, miniature golf, horseback riding.

2 miles from Hickory Creek Wildlife Management for hunting or fishing. An active fishing or hunting license is all that is required to enter.

Winstar World Casino is also in Love County and only 20 minutes away. Concerts, rodeos, or a day playing at the casino then come back to your private home with secluded quiet patio.

We are located approximately 5 miles East of I-35. An easy drive from North Texas taking the Marietta exit. A 1.5-2 hr drive from the OKC metro area.

Once you arrive at the property, there is a private gated drive. Please take care to notice any children on the private road before you enter our property. There are two homes at front of road that are not associated with this rental and are not the hosts.

Our family farm offers a unique, one of a kind stay in our cabin retreat inclusive of farm fresh beef -on site- and homemade no desserts from Pixiedust, our very own bakery in Lone Grove, Ok. Our cabin was built with family and quality time being a priority. Secluded with gated entry and 110 acres of undisturbed nature for hiking, exploring and watching wildlife while being only 5 miles from Lake Murray, Oklahomas most beautiful lake! Half way between DFW and OKC, just 20 minutes from Ardmore, Ok and convenient to all the wonderful things southern Oklahoma has to offer!

Our cabin provides a fully equipped kitchen in addition to other luxuries such as limited propane, firewood, smoker (with pellets), and laundry soap. Local beef can be provided for your stay at an additional charge. Our lower deck has a spacious, cozy, swinging bed, perfect for relaxation along with a pool table to bring family fun into your stay and an electric ice chest to chill your beverage of choice. Although we have the “no pets” rule, we realize that pets are like family members to lots of people. We highly recommend “Reigning Cats and Dogs”, a boarding retreat where your pet will be pampered during your stay at the cabin. It’s only about a 15 minute drive from where you will be. - "The cabin was as nice as the pictures reflected. The property is beautiful and I would highly recommend it. It was a short drive to Lake Murray and Ardmore, which was convenient. It was very clean and had lots of extra amenities, such as very nice patio furniture, pool table, outside fans to keep cool and the bugs away. View from back porch was spectacular! - "It was amazing!! Some of the doors tho don’t lock and the back doors don’t either so that caused some issues, otherwise everything was awesome" - "It was a good experience. Just FYI for new guests, make sure you do not forget anything because there are no gas stations or stores of any kind nearby. To the owner, I would recommend putting some type of awning in the back where the sun sets because it gets very hot. Also do not put any glass containers in the bathroom because the body wash was in a glass container and one of my kids broke it by accident and we had a hard time cleaning the glass off the floor. Finally put locks on the sliding doors in the back."
