This is an original 1910 Mill Home located within walking distance to downtown Monroe, three Monroe location wedding venues (The Factory at Walton Mill, The Engine Room, The Wayfarer Music Hall) and antique shops. This is a perfect place to stay for a long weekend get away or if a friend is getting married close by. It can also be set up as a bridal or groom suite.

The master suite includes a king bed and en suite, as well as a his and her closet. The guest bedroom includes a full bed, with closet space (hangers included) in each. The guest bathroom is located off the living room, stocked with toilet paper, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A full service laundry room with LG washer and dryer is available and fully stocked with detergent, and dryer sheets. Extra blankets, towels, and cleaning supplies are also provided.

Guests can enjoy a modest backyard with privacy fence for outdoor lounging and safe space for children and pets to play. Large doggy door (11”x18”) allows unrestricted pet access to outdoor space.

- "Cute remodeled cottage in downtown Monroe. The only two negatives are only 2 vehicles fit in the driveway, unless you park on the grass and there was not a toaster. The king sized mattress is very comfortable, along with the bedding, but we went to Walmart and bought a portable fan since that bedroom did not have a ceiling fan. The other 2 queen bedrooms had ceiling fans. There were six of us, all family, and we were very comfortable in this cottage."

We are conveniently located in a wonderful, diverse neighborhood near historic downtown Monroe, coffee shops and bakeries, and the new Publix shopping center with easy access to the highway.

Relax on the covered front porch, patio which overlooks the backyard or inside this cozy floor plan which features an open concept.

Our home features a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all the appliances and utensils you need to cook a delicious meal. The living room is a cozy space to relax and watch TV or read a book, and the dining area provides seating for enjoying meals together.

One bedroom features a king sized bed while the other bedroom has a queen sized bed. Both bedrooms have a chair, a TV and closet space for your belongings. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

For your convenience, we provide internet and a washer/dryer. We also have a spacious backyard with a patio area which are perfect for enjoying the beautiful Georgia weather.

Our home is located in a residential area, just a short drive from downtown Monroe. We are also in close proximity to The Factory at Walton Mill, The Engine Room, McDaniel-Tichenor House, Sparrow Grove Manor, 9 Oaks Farm, and Southern Brewing Company.

- "We enjoyed our stay at this 2 bed/1 bath private house. We visited town for a wedding that was 5 miles away. Check in instructions were easy to follow. First impression was it was very clean and the fixtures/decorations were cute and it looked exactly like the pictures in the listing. One thing we look for in a property to stand out is comfortable furniture and this checked the box (the bed was more comfortable than our own at home and the couch was comfortable too with the added bonus of movie night snacks the host provided). The location was good and within a mile from major roads. There was construction next door, but we were fully aware when we booked and it did not impact our stay at all. Our host was very informative and checked in with us throughout our stay. We would stay here again if ever visiting the area."
