Monsaraz is so well preserved and such a beautiful little village with a beautiful castle and the most amazing views/sunsets. Laetitia’s cottage is quirky & charming,….the garden perfect if you have a pet(s).The negatives: some of the streets are difficult for walking, so bring good walking/hiking shoes. This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

Casa de Charme is located in the Arrabalde de Monsaraz, from where you can enjoy the most sublime sunset ... If you go up to the church of São Bento, which despite being in ruins, it has a magnificent 360º view throughout the parish.
The house is decorated in the Alentejo style which makes it very welcoming. It has a small yard, which delights everyone, as you can see the stars at night, since we are very close to the Dark Sky reserve, or even make astronomical, solar observations, astronomy and astrophotography courses, among other events in the OLA (Observatory Lago Alqueva).
