The cabin has everything you need as far as small appliances and although we mostly grilled, there’s an air fryer, blender, kurig, toaster stove fridge and microwave. The A/C is slamming and the bed is very comfortable. As far as shopping etc, we got a Walmart delivery for the basics and firewood etc, but there are some convenience stores up the road. Eddie the host communicated with us the whole stay and was such a gracious host and let us have a late checkout as we were delayed for 5 hours on arrival. This cozy lake cottage is the perfect get away! Just steps away from the water with a rock beach where you can go for a swim or fish. Gorgeous sunset views from the back yard. The cottage includes a separate bedroom that has one king size bed and one queen size bed. There is also a daybed with two twin beds in the living room. The cottage sleeps a total of 6 people max. The living room has a large sofa, recliner, a rocking chair as well as the daybed and a 50 inch flat screen smart TV connected to the Internet We provide free LG channels and you can stream any apps you have with your password. There is also a 32 inch smart tv with DVD player and plenty of movies in the bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal, you just bring food and refreshments. There is plenty to do in our area, including the Red Caboose Winery in Meridian, the Valley Mills Winery with beautiful Hill Country views. We are only 45 minutes from Magnolia Market in Waco. Beautifu2 year old log cabin on large lot that's has an all pine interior. Cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with large showers. We provide all the towels bed linens. Has a very nice patio with grill to sit out on. Home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Kitchen has all dishes and pots and pans, stove, microwave, refrigerator and stove. An authentic log cabin home and is our little hidden gem. It is located in the Canyons at beautiful Lake Whitney. It has 2 bedrooms (one down, 2nd is a loft upstairs) and 1.5 bath. Fully equipped kitchen, full size washer & dryer. located at the end of a no outlet street surrounded by trees, backing up to a ravine. If you like to hike or just explore, there are trails behind the cabin. There is a neighborhood cove located just a short drive from the cabin, it is great for swimming, fishing or kayaking. It features a full wrap around porch that you can enhance your evenings by turning on the rope lights at night. The porch features a dining table on the back, swing that overlooks the yard with the fire pit (being your own fire wood). There is a small bistro table, 4 rocking chairs at the front and a spool table for you to sit and enjoy nature. No matter where you are at on the porch, there is plenty of seating. We have a deer feeder that goes off early morning and early evening, so be sure to be on the look out for our neighborhood friends! There is a picnic table with a smoker/grill located under the carport for you to cook and dine outside (be sure to bring charcoal/lighter) *the gas grill located on the porch is NOT available for use*. You will have access to all interior and exterior spaces, except for the locked closet in the master bedroom, the small storage shed on the back porch and the garage. Those spaces are for housekeeping & maintance personell. We added a 50 ft tower with a tv intenna *no climbing allowed*. We do have internet and All of the Tvs have Roku and there are 54 movies in the dvd holder for you to watch as well. We also added a cell phone booster in the cabin to help with service ( we cannot guarantee service as it will depend on your provider).

This cabin is an actual log cabin, therefore it has natural insulation. While there is AC & heat, it can be warmer or cooler than normal depending on the season.

Goldie's Getaway consists of 2 bed 2 bath space with a cozy and comfortable vibe. The common space is the focal point of the house with large windows to look out to the stunning lake. Outside you can enjoy the hot tub, outdoor fireplace, grill or just relax on the bench swing. The backyard is fully fenced for pets to enjoy. Our pet fee is $40.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed- plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

In the other bedroom, there are two bunk beds, which means you can comfortably sleep up to four people. This setup also makes it a great spot for kids to have some fun.

We loved the front and backyard; well, groomed. In fact, we spent a great deal of time in the backyard around the big firepit; Smores!! Absolutely! About this space:

Clean and comfortable cottage on the western shore of Lake Whitney in Laguna Park. Located in a peaceful neighborhood bya short 5-min walk to the lake, our cottage is perfect for solo detravelers, couples, or families. It’s a small house but by no means tiny! Our cottage is meant for you to unwind and relax. The space is quirky and so is the neighborhood!

The space:

The Blue Fox is 2br/2ba in approximately 700 sq/Ft. There is ample parking and a wrap around porch. Inside the kitchen and living room are one comfy eclectic space with everything you need. We’ve tried to think of everything from wine tools to wireless chargers. One bedroom is small with bunk beds. But these are like the bunks you had in college. Twin XL and solid oak they sleep adults comfortably. There is a Jack n Jill bathroom that connects to the master bedroom. The master has a luxurious hybrid queen mattress. Attached to the master is another full bathroom with a walk in shower and attached laundry.

We’ve outfitted this cabin with friends and family in mind so we hope you feel that way. We have high thread count cotton sheets & hotel quality towels.

This two-story home sits on an expansive piece of property, just about a mile down the road from lake access at Cedar Creek Park. Spend your days fishing, swimming, kayaking, or getting out on the water via one of the local marinas. Lake Whitney State Park and McCown Valley Park are both within 11 miles, offering scenic stretches of lakeshore to take in.

Everything about this home feels like an ode to nature, from the carved log staircase to the floor-to-ceiling stone hearth. Lofty ceilings and a wall of windows fill the great room with sunlight, creating a wonderful space to curl up with a good book, a great movie, and a roaring fireplace in the evenings.

Spend summer days on the covered rear porch, watching your kids play in the yard out back. Welcome to LAKE TIME! We have a Great place to be when you want to come to Lake Whitney. It is only a block from the new Whitney Ridge Marina!! This property has two bed rooms (Queen) & ( King) two full baths open floor concept where the living room flows to the kitchen and the rooms are on opposite ends of the house, and yes that is because it is a single wide trailer on the outside. Yes we did not want to loose that vibe so we kept the tail lights and the hitch on the front. The interior has been updated to look more like a home with vaulted ceilings and wood floors through out . We also have plenty of room for you to enjoy the out doors around the place with corn hole boards, outdoor living with a fire pit on one side, and a concrete covered patio with picnic table and a Blackstone griddle . Also have plenty of room for boat parking. We have added 3 RV spots as well, so if you have family members that want to join they can park right outside for additional charge.

The space

The Fox Kit Cabin is a 1br/1ba tiny home in approximately 400 sq/ft. A quiet solitude for a solo traveler or a cozy nest for a couple the cabin is very much like an extended stay hotel room in a free standing house. There is a covered porch at the entry where you can wake to fresh air and coffee. Inside the living area, dining area, and kitchenette are all one super functional space where you can relax in one of the comfy chairs and watch tv or nibble breakfast at the vintage cafe table. You won't be cooking three-course meals but the kitchenette has a small fridge/freezer, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchen ware.

Down the shotgun hallway is the bedroom with a luxurious hybrid queen bed and plenty of space to store your clothes for the weekend or a week.

The best part is the bathroom! We built a walk-in tiled shower that we're jealous of! Pop the hotel quality towels in the dryer to toast them up...this tiny home has a full sized washer and dryer. Perfect for those summer swim adventure trips at the lake!

We've built and outfitted this cabin with friends and family in mind so we hope you feel that way. We use high quality linens and everything is washed after each guest. Please read the "Where You'll Be" section here, there's alot to do in our neighborhood!

Guest access

You're welcome to the entire cabin. A max of two vehicles are allowed (a trailer is a vehicle). If you need space to park more please send us a message. We can probably accommodate you. The Kit Cabin is on the same property as our other rental, the Blue Fox Cottage. Guests in the cottage have access to the yard. Please respect their privacy (we ask them to respect yours too!).

The cabin is heated and cooled by two 9000btu mini split ac/heat pumps. They are super quiet and even though there are two, one is sufficient for the entire cabin. Mini-splits are very efficient keeping a steady temp so please set them where you would like. We have two smart plugs to turn on lights if you are arriving after dark. You're welcome to unplug these during your stay if you like.

We do not allow EV charging or crypto mining.

We want this to be a place you make memories at and we take pride in our cleaning! Our goal is that our guests are always comfortable and can relax and enjoy the space.
