Any evidence of smoking inside the home will incur a $1000 cleaning fee.

For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are external security cameras in the following locations on this home:

These cameras record exterior areas only and hold the information for 30 days. Footage is only reviewed in the event of a break-in or any potential house rules violation. There are no cameras anywhere inside the home.
We have exterior cameras located at the front door facing the driveway and fountain, garage showing the driveway and garage entrance, and upper deck showing the deck and pool area (there are NO cameras inside the home).

The base rate covers the first 7 people. Each additional person is just $30 per person/per day. This is applied to anyone age 3 and over (kids 2 and under are free). The fee is applied to anyone that comes to the property (not just those staying the night). The extra person fee covers additional wear and tear to the property and amenities, additional professional cleaning/disinfecting, increased use of the internal plumbing, electricity, and other utilities, etc. Want to bring a pet? No problem, it`s just $300 per pet per stay.

No smoking inside the house or garage. Evidence of smoking inside will result in a $1000 fine.

Other general rules:

1. Respect our neighbor’s property and do not trespass into their yards or driveways.
2. Keep the noise outside to a reasonable level at all times.
3. Quiet hours outside begin at 10:00 pm and lasts until 8 AM.
4. Any outside amplified music must be preapproved by host.
5. Cars should be parked in the garage or on the driveway. There is ample parking for several cars on our property. Absolutely no street parking permitted.
6. Fireworks are prohibited on the property.
7. Neighbors are aware that guests often stay at this home. Please treat them with respect and courtesy as you would the people in your neighborhood.
8. Please lock all doors and windows
9. We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay.
10. Pets must be kept on a leash when outside.
11. The home may not be occupied by more than the capacity allowed by code.
12. No off-road vehicles are allowed on the premises.
13. Refund Policy: 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival.
14. Please do not attach anything to the walls or ceilings with tape, tacks or anything else as this can cause damage which you will be charged for.
15. Please place any moved furniture back in its original position. A $100 fee will apply if all items are not properly reset before checkout.
16. The pool is usually open between approximately mid-May and mid-October depending on the weather. If your reservation is near this time of year, please confirm with us that the pool is open for the season if you intend to use it. During the season the pool is kept at 75 degrees. If you would like the pool temperature turned up, the cost is $25 per degree per day. Please let us know at least 1 day prior to check-in so that we can be sure the temperature is set
for you. The hot tub is open year-round, and the temperature is separate from the pool and goes up to 104 degrees for no extra fee. Our maintenance team comes at least once a week to ensure the pool and hot tub remains in great shape for guests. They will typically be in and out within a half hour or so.
17. Pets are NOT allowed in the pool or hot tub.
18. An additional fee of $200 will be charged for guests who arrive early (before the designated check in time) and also for those who check out late (after the designated check out time).
19. Cancelled reservations will be charged 3% to cover credit card processing fees.
20. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this home.

Somewhat noisy road." - "Worked exactly for what we needed." - "The Pros: The property was comfortable and clean. The Cons: The keypad for the door was confusing and difficult to use. We ended up getting locked out in the dark for almost 15 minutes because it took 12 tries to get it to unlock, and it had a 10-minute lock-out after 10 failed tries. The kitchen is woefully under-equipped. The cooking and serving implements as sparse and mismatched. It was very difficult to prepare and serve meals. When we checked in there were only two towels in all the bathrooms combined. Later we found all the towels still sitting wet in the laundry machine, so we were forced to do the previous visitors' laundry to have towels. Overall: While affordable, clean, and comfortable, I would not recommend staying here to anyone. There are serious concerns that need addressing first. Thankfully they are small concerns and could be fixed in as little as a day, but need to be fixed."

- "Wow, if only all properties could be like this one! We were in Chicagoland suburbs for a wedding reception, and we found this gem in Minooka (close to I-80 and I-55). The home, furnishings and amenities were all brand new and the property owner was extremely helpful and immediately answered questions. The kitchen was well equipped and we had a variety selection of coffee, both regular and decaf. The patio was comfortable with a brand new BBQ. The bathrooms were supplied with lovely hair products, lotion and hairdryer. The linens and beds were very comfortable, and we truly felt at home. We will definitely be repeat visitors. I almost forgot, the neighborhood is lovely and great sidewalks for early morning walks. "
