Sleeping:
We have 3 bedrooms, comprising a Queen bed and 2 separate double beds, each located in the separate bedrooms. We also have a pull out double sofa, and single futon, located in the kitchen/dining area. Plus, we have an extra single bed, which is located in the garage/family space. Depending on how many people are listed as staying, linens and towels are provided to suit. You can let your host know if you have any questions regarding the sleeping arrangements.

Linens:
Whilst this is not a daily serviced unit, we do supply hygienic and fresh bedroom linens and towels on your arrival, (this is included in your booking fee as per the number of people booked in your stay). There is an additional fee per person when you book. This fee will be calculated at checkout when you let us know the number of people staying.

We simply ask that you place all of the used towels in the bathroom area at the end of your stay. This helps us to keep our daily costs down so that our guests can enjoy a great experience at an affordable price.

Kitchen:
Beach Haven has a fully functioning kitchen, so if you want to do all your own cooking while on holiday, you can. We have pots and pans, as well as cooking appliances and utensils. We supply an electric wok and an air fryer for your use, to help make you feel right at home. We even have a range of condiments for your use in the kitchen cupboard, just in case you forget to bring those essential items on your trip, like salt, pepper, herbs and spices. We just ask that you use them sparingly, so that other guests after you can also enjoy the convenience of these complimentary items.
We do provide a small selection of complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk on arrival, as well as bottled water in the refrigerator, because sometimes the first thing you want after your travels is to sit down with a nice warm cup of tea or coffee and you’re too tired to unpack it straight away!
We also supply a small amount of complimentary dishwashing liquid, as well as a tea towel and wipes under the kitchen sink for guest use.

Lounge/Dining:
There is a main lounge area, which is furnished with a comfy lounge and large TV, as well as a lift up chair, suitable for more elderly people. There is a lounge/sofa bed and a futon in the kitchen/dining area, which provides extra seating as well. Free wifi is availabe, as well as free to air channels and Foxtel.

The dining area seats 6 people comfortably, with extra chairs provided that can also be used.

Bathroom and Toilet Facilities:
The main bathroom is modern and is equipped with disability hand rails in the shower and toilet, as well as disability rails in the 2nd toilet, which is located in the laundry area. We do provide a small amount of complimentary soap, shampoo/conditioner and toilet paper on arrival, however, we do advise that you bring your own toiletries for the length of your stay as the unit is not serviced daily.

Laundry:
We do have a washing machine and clothes dryer in the laundry for guest use, and we do supply a small amount of complimentary laundry washing detergent for your use.

TV and Internet:
We provide free wifi (25Mbps speed). We provide free to air channels on the TV and Foxtel as well, so you can watch all of your favourite shows while you are on holiday.

Outside Space:
Beach Haven does have a clothes line for guest use and pegs are provided. There is also an enclosed outside courtyard with a small seating area.

Parking:
Beach Haven 1 is located at the front of a 3 unit complex. There is an on site car space for parking, located in front of the unit. Easy access street parking in front of the unit is usually always available.
We ask that you do not park in the driveway at any time, as there are other residents in the complex who utilize the driveway to reach their own units, so blocking of the driveway is strictly prohibited. No parking is allowed on grassed areas or in front of garages. These are for permanent residents.

We want you to enjoy your stay at Beach Haven, but no parties, loud gatherings, or schoolies type get togethers are allowed at Beach Haven 1. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if this occurs during your stay, and no refunds will be available.

Cleaning Fee:
There is a small cleaning fee attached to your booking. We reserve the right to charge a higher cleaning fee from your security deposit if the premises are left in a state that requires extra cleaning.
Beach Haven 1 is cleaned and inspected after each guest departure, so that when a new guest arrives, they can be sure of a clean and inviting experience.

Pets:
We have a no pet policy. No pets are allowed at Beach Haven 1.

Ruby's was very spacious and beautifully appointed. The kitchen had every you'd need - down to a slow cooker and rice cooker. We easily fitted 5 adults and a teenager in. The balcony is beautiful and a great place to hang out. It's an easy walk to the nearest beach and we enjoyed getting coffees from The Blowfish Cafe on the way. Only downside was the lack of the PS 3 mentioned,which was disappointing for the teenage son and the lack of dryer (but if you came on a non rainy week it would be fine). Owners have kindly supplied games and jigsaws and a table tennis table, which filled in a few wet afternoons. All in all, we had a great time."

Local bird watching routes are very popular in this part of the mid North Coast with the Saltwater National Parks nature walk, Khappinghat National Park and Manning Entrance state park close by.

- "Location to beach was ideal! " - "We were in town for two nights with two families and the unit had enough space for us all helped by having a fold out couch in the lounge. Plenty of space and a great location." - "The property details stated "linen provided - beds not made" however 2 days before arrival (just by luck) we were advised that linen and blankets are not provided and had to bring our own. The property details showed "3 bathrooms -towels provided". When we arrived, the only towels were 2 bathmats. We had to use our beach towels as bath towels We had no hand towels for any of the 3 bathrooms. I would not have booked or paid for this accommodation if I had known we had to bring our own linen and bath towels. The property address given was correct, however it was a townhouse and we were not given the exact number. There was no wifi as the modem was not on the property during our stay. The property is not 200 steps to the beach, but it is close. We were unable to find the outside rubbish bins for larger rubbish, I assume these may have been in the garage, but we were not given the keys for the garage and had to park our car in the communal driveway or on the street. We liked Old Bar and will return but we will find accommodation elsewhere next time."
