Cottage
Parks, Arizona, USA

Your 1b, 1ba Cottage comes with a dual-heated, King bed and a pellet stove with a backup gas heater. The Cottage sits on 10 acres+, unlike 1-2 acre or less, packed areas like Kachina Village, Mountain Aire, Baderville, Doney Park, or Sherwood Forest, which are tightly packed neighborhoods. These “city neighborhood styled areas” are NOT desirable; mixed communities with nice houses and junk properties intermingled and virtually no land or easy forest/wildland access.

At The Cottage, you will not be in a suburban or semi-rural neighborhood. You’ll be staying far from local cities. This is a free-standing, remote, deep-in-the forest place with a gorgeous view of the famous Spring Valley and mountain views of Mt. Sitgreaves. Walking, hiking, biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing start at your door. The Cottage is a separate home, with living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath, & dining nook. Kitchenware and utensils, salt, pepper & some spices stocked for your convenience.

The Cottage is nestled in 40ft-75ft pines, the perfect place for a weekend getaway deep in the Kaibab National Forest. - "This rustic cabin in the woods was perfect for us, for 2-couples, and a 15-mth old baby, puppy, and me grandpa. We visited several of the hostess's suggested sites. The amenities were just right. TV w/ several movie channels, Wi-Fi good, hot tub nice, beds comfortable, cozy homey feeling. We didn't have time, but there was also cornhole set, and a nice firepit with lots of wood. We would definitely stay here again." - "Thank you so much much for allowing us to stay at such a special place! The cabin is absolute perfection. The photos truly don't do it justice. It's such a warm and inviting space, we truly felt right at home. It had everything we needed, and more. We couldn't get over the beautiful tall pines, the rain added to such an already-beautiful environment. We saw cows, deer and a coyote in the distance. Our toddler and golden retriever were in their absolute glory. Thank you again for letting us book last minute. We appreciate your kindness!"

- "We loved everything about this place. It was off the beaten path but still conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. There is so much to do around here we didn't spent a whole lot of time at the property other than to sleep but we were pleasantly surprised. It was bigger than we thought it would be, the bed was very comfortable and the views were beautiful. Joe greeted us and made us feel very welcome gave us some great local tips and was just a nice guy. I look forward to visiting again in the future. We haven't had that much fun in a while!"

Cabin
Parks, Arizona, USA

A cozy mountain cabin retreat located 25 minutes west of Flagstaff (and 65 miles from the Grand Canyon). We like to call our cabin a "Tech Detox" . We like to call our cabin a "Tech Detox" . There is very poor to no cell reception unless on the main road, we don't have WiFi . Guest Reviews:

- "We really enjoyed our stay. This place is family friendly and is equipped with everything you need." - "The house was nice and clean and good size for us, our three teens and dogs. The large yard is fenced and our dogs could have stayed out there all day! My teens didn’t quite appreciate it as much because of the no wi-fi. We have AT&T and I was hoping for better service but it was hit and miss to say the least. Next time we’ll just leave the teens at home! Lol"

Guest Reviews:

- "Simple and clean property! Everything you need to be comfortable and an awesome tree house!" - "The experience overall was great there was some dolls in the kids room that terrified my 2-year-old. " - "Escaping the heat and enjoying the fun activities around Williams put us on the hunt for a property near Williams that could accommodate my husband and I, my Mother in law, as well as our grandchildren (ages 9 and 11). As soon as we entered the proprty, we were very pleased with our choice. While there are other homes in the area, they feel fairly far away, giving us a nice exclusive and private feel. The open nature of the property, with the vast prairie and mountains in the distance was a beautiful back drop to our morning coffee. The house itself is adorable and felt spacious enough for all of us. The kids loved the two story tree house and all the games available in the house. The beds were very comfortable and supplies were generous. Cable TV was a huge plus, even if we didn't watch much. Overall, great house, great property and would absolutely stay again."

- "Very beautiful home, quiet location and responsive owners" - "We had a very nice stay! The property was in a pretty area removed from high traffic but close enough to Williams and Grand Canyon. One odd thing about it… no window coverings in the back including the bathroom. Didn’t really like the lack of privacy there but overall a great stay! Very Well stocked" - "The cabin was as advertised. The bedrooms were quite large. The property was quite large also. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed for several days of staying here. One day we were snowed in but we were fine. The kids could play in the snow and then come inside to warm up with some Netflix. The owner had a guy plow the driveway but it snowed another several inches. We managed to shovel ourselves out and put on very necessary snow chains. A few neighbors came by to help us out too. Overall, we had a great time!"

Gorgeous & Historic 3 BR Log Cabin w/Forest Views /20 Minutes from Flagstaff/
House
Bellemont, Arizona, USA

This beautiful cabin that we refer to as"The Ponderosa," is located on the edge of theKaibabforest, which provides our guests with a stunning view.

3 Bed, 2 Bath, Sleeps 8+
It has a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms include 1 king & 2 queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots & pans. On the north & east sides of this relaxing retreat is the forest, along with a picnic table, BBQ grill & fire ring with patio chairs.

We call it 'The Ponderosa' because it's surrounded by tall Ponderosa pines. Given that Arizona has the largest spread of this particular, highly desired tree in the U.S we thought this title would be very appropriate. Looking east on a quiet evening, especially during a full moon, the Elk come in so close you can hear them pull the grass up. You may also hear the coyotes howling at night, in the far distance gathering up their pack.

We provide a TV & DVD player. Nature provides much more than we possibly could.

The Fireplace is decorative only.

Please note that there are five beautiful cabins on site that are different sizes. All are unique and beautiful. This provides the perfect opportunity to bring families and friends together for reunions or other events.

This is a No-Smoking property.

Pets are considered, however we asked that you keep "4 on the floor" as we say in our house. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Also, please pick up after them outside. We usually allow one small to medium size dog. No vicious breeds. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. There is a $50 pet fee per dog.

Lot of dishes too (no dishwasher). Other than these suggestions, the location is prime and the house is amazing and close enough and far enough from busy flagstaff! Thank you for the hospitality. Would also recommend a trashbin as well." - "This cabin is very lovely. Vance, the owner communicated all instructions and i had no issues at all. Will definitely, visit this town again. Since the place was newly renovated, there were not a whole lot of supplies (we had to buy our own trash bags because what was in the house in the can was not enough but it was no problem on my end to have to buy some. Other than that everything was perfect!"

Back in Time Retreat
House
Parks, Arizona, USA

Welcome to Back in Time Retreat. We hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we do. We love this little retreat in the woods on the cliff. It was a challenge to get this little gem in this beautiful location but well worth it. We started out with the vision as we looked up at the cliff and realized that beautiful spot was unutilized. With a friend, a backhoe and determination we were able to get the road up and through the cliff. From there it was a matter of establishing the water, electricity, and hard work to get this 1968 Avion travel trailer remodeled. The experience is breath taking with view of the San Francisco Peaks and other mountain ranges with a feeling of piece and alone in the woods. It is located close to Historic route 66 with views of train going through. Keep in mind there is train noise and is a part of the experience.
The main cabin on the lower section of the property is also a rental property: Parks Chalet. They are both very secluded where you cannot see one from the other even though they are on the same property.

Guest Reviews:

- "We booked this stay to get away from the Arizona desert summer heat and this mountain getaway was perfect. We actually used the gas fire pit in the early morning with our coffee. The RV does share the property with another VRBO but we didn’t hear or see the other people or their dogs. If we were hoping for some quiet solitude and this location delivered. The owners mentioned that you hear the trains, and we did but that added to the charm. The owners provide ear plugs if you need them for sleep. We gave four stars for two reasons, one the location has a gas grill which wasn’t mentioned and the internet is using your Verizon hotspot. Neither created a problem for us, but might be needed information for others. We would highly recommend this location and hope to return. Thanks, Tracy and Jeff"

This cabin far surpassed our expectations! It was so cute and cozy. Host had everything on property that we might need. - "I’m my opinion: nice little place, it is vintage and in vintage condition as such it’s designed for small folks, which we are but I could see how if you were over 5’6 it could be problematic, specially the bathroom. The second bedroom bunk beds are not for adults, it’s a children’s room. Other than that it’s great and we enjoyed our time. The hand soap is delicious " - "Nice new porch, very relaxing to drink coffee and watch the squirrels, birds and deer. Small, but accommodated the two of us. Lots of tall pines on the property."

Guest Reviews:

- "We LOVED our stay in our first tiny home experience. All of the special touches really made it super awesome!" - "We loved the seclusion in the pines. The Beers’ did an amazing job with their tiny home inn, they thought of everything! One of the sweetest touches was a personalized kit to make s’mores (perfect amount for our group). I personally loved the hummingbirds and all the outdoor activities to help us escape. We loved being disconnected!"

Guest Reviews:

- "This property is a nice place to stay in Parks. I was able to sit on the back deck in the evening and watch deer graze in the forest. " - "The home and location were nice, however it does need some much needed TLC. The front screen door is broken and needs replaced as well as the back screen door. I am a disabled veteran with PTSD and did NOT feel safe at all the entire time. The home was not as clean (floors were very dirty) as I would have expected for a VRBO and also had an odor like sewage coming up from all the sinks and showers. I had to continually spray air freshner to hide it. The pillows and mattresses could use an update as well as the cushiions on the sofas. "
