This charming 600 square foot studio/loft is located in a quite neighborhood perfect for relaxing and reconnecting. Your own private entrance leads you to souring ceilings, a comfortable king size bed, perfect for sleeping in a little later than usual. A full kitchen with all the amenities to prepare great meals on the new LG gas stove. Kitchen also has a Large LG refrigerator with ice maker to keep those leftovers from spoiling and quartz countertops. The bathroom is Spa style with walk in shower which features a rain style shower head. A cozy sitting area which boasts an electric fireplace and 43" TV. It’s also a great area for catching up on a good book. A walk in closet for longer stays, a new gas grill sits on a private deck which feels much like your owe private treehouse. Built into the side of Strawberry Mountain and just 90 minutes from Phoenix, the cabin is 1750 square feet on 2 stories with an additional 1000 square feet on 2 decks. Perfect for families or friends, you will be more than comfortable with the 3 bedroom, 2 baths that sleeps 6. Take in the great panoramic views while playing games, sipping your favorite beverage, and eating that perfect meal you prepared on the grill.

You will have full access to all the bedrooms upstairs and down as well as the laundry room. You may also use the garage and overflow parking area directly across the street.

Our home is located just below the Mogollon Rim in the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the world. We are in close proximity to the Tonto Natural Bridge and Payson. There are numerous trails for hiking and biking including the Bear Foot, Highline and AZ Trail right outside the front door.

Getting around
We are within close proximity of grocery, dining and entertainment. You can enjoy numerous restaurants, art galleries and shopping. Also close by is Christopher Creek and the Tonto Natural Bridge.

Other things to note
You may be visited by the local elk, white tailed deer and the occasional javelina. You will most certainly enjoy the company of the local finches, red headed woodpeckers, robins and hummingbirds.

Walking around the Bunkhouse to the back you will find the gas grill and comfortable patio seating that overlooks the dense forest of surrounding pine trees. Upon entering the cabin you will quickly realize this is not your grandad's hunting cabin. 2 queen sized beds occupy one end of the cabin and an efficient kitchenette resides on the side. The bathroom features a glass shower door with brand new tile. During our winters, you will enjoy the warmth and romantic atmosphere generated by the electric fireplace that sits in front of the futon couch that can easily be turned into a bed. Entertainment is provided with a smart TV, cards, board games, fast WiFi and the local bars and restaurants within a few miles. I know we are having excess heat so the swamp cooler couldn't keep up so it was very warm. The blinds don't pull up anymore. - "This cabin was perfect for our anniversary getaway with our two dogs. They loved being able to roam the large property unsupervised and we loved not having to worry about them. The cabin itself is absolutely adorable and stocked with everything needed. Caroline was great and checked in the first night to make sure we were ok. She even eliminated the check out time when a storm blew in to make sure we'd be able to leave when it was safe to do so. Very thoughtful. We saw lots of elk wandering around.
