We call this recently renovated luxury apartment Hale Kai, which is Hawaiian for 'Sea House.' It is fully furnished and has spectacular views of Rock Creek, which joins the Patapsco River and the Chesapeake Bay.

Relax out on your own large deck and watch the boating activity and wildlife in a very quiet and peaceful setting. Come by land or by sea -- we have boat slips available at our dock.

This is a second floor apartment that has its own entrance. Please be aware that there are 19 steps going up to the apt. We live in the main house directly below. Sitting on 8 acres of water front property, Our Home on the Cove is a cottage with 5 bedrooms and room for a family of 4 or 12 to run and play. “The Pines” provides space for volleyball, tag, horseshoes and campfires (yum- s’mores), as well as lounge chairs to watch the water drift by. Swim at your own risk and/or sunbathe on the dock. The fenced in swing set is a great place to let the little ones play. Don’t be surprised to catch a few fish or crabs right off of the pier. Paddling around in the row boat or your own kayak will provide a unique view of our home from the water, and wandering our nature trail will provide an insight into the local wildlife. When all this activity makes you hungry, the kitchen is stocked with enough cookware to feed upward of twelve people; eat at the kitchen table, or on the screened in porch. After dark, star gazing from the dock is an ideal activity, or make a bonfire! Our Home is truly a place to make memories.

- "Every year I rent a different lake house in August. This is the first year I've rented a home on a cove in Maryland. This was probably the nicest bit of property I've stayed in over the last 10 years of renting. It had everything. Row boats canoes dock fishing gear life vests volleyball net fenced in wonderful playground for the children toys balls the list goes on and on. The home is just as described. Adequate to have big meals together and chill out in front of the TV or front porch or nighttime fishing on the pier. I understood beforehand about the second bathroom being in the bathroom with only access through the outside and that was fine. Because we had small children, the creaky stairs to go upstairs to the bathroom was a little troublesome. But I personally found where to set them going up and down. That made the least amount of squeaks. Lol. Because I had so many adults (not all at once thank goodness) the bedroom situation was a little bit tricky but we made it work and we only spent eight or less hours in the beds and the rest of the time mostly outside. The homeowners were the best you can ask for. Via text or email or in person, they were all so nice. We actually didn't need them for a single thing but they were so helpful with advice and tips on how to tie a good boat knot or best places and time to throw a fishing line, etc. I thank them for a thoroughly wonderful week stay."

We really appreciated having a tv in each of the bedrooms as everyone went to bed at different times. The house provided privacy and is on a nice, quiet street. The screened porch in the back is beautiful and so relaxing with the water feature to watch and listen to. The master bedroom and bathroom boast these killer views of the creek, and one of the other bedrooms? Yep, it's got a peaceful waterview too – perfect for chilling out.

Inside, we've blended rustic vibes with all the modern stuff you need for a comfy stay. Big windows let you soak in the creek views without even stepping outside. And speaking of outside, there are private decks – great for sipping your morning coffee surrounded by greenery.

We're all about family vibes here. Kids can run around the lawn or set up a picnic by the water. It's a chill spot for everyone. So, if you're looking to escape the usual and get cozy in a place where nature meets homey, this creek-side retreat is where it's at. Come, unwind, and make yourself at home!

Nicely furnished, two story, 2745 sq ft. “colonial”, is located in quiet suburb of Baltimore and Annapolis. 45 minutes to DC. Close to BWI airport, and easy commute to Washington, Baltimore, or Annapolis.
Lot is large, pleasantly landscaped, and partially wooded, and private. Back yard is large and is fenced. This is a side road of a side road, so there is little traffic, and it is quite tranquil, yet we can factually say our location is only a two traffic lights from Miami, Florida or Portland, Maine.

Many will find its access to the Chesapeake Bay of interest. Our community has a boat ramp for small boats on the Magothy River, which is a tributary of the bay. Beachwood Park is a county park, a mile away, where locals flock to fish for white perch in early April. Downs Park is on the “real” bay, and is lovely to walk or fish from the long pier.

Floor plan of our home is one downstairs suite, and 3 available upstairs bedrooms. First floor also has kitchen, smallish dining room, large family room and living room. Plenty of room to either be together, or apart. TV’s in every room, save closets and baths.

Kitchen has WOLF range, VIking Induction cooktop, Viking warming drawer, Thermidor micro, Bosch fridge and dishwasher. Disposal. Granite counters, quartersawn 7 inch plank Vermont white oak floors. Adjoining is a dining room with radiant heated travertine floor. Also, a walk-in pantry, which will be stocked with essentials. Plenty of horsepower here to cook a wonderful meal and entertain.

Head north from the kitchen, 700 sq ft family room with real wood burning fireplace. High ceilings, view west sunset and east, our lovely fenced back yard, and gardens. Head south, our living room, with grand piano, medium size TV. Sofa, “love seat”, table and chair. Powder room adjoins.

Upstairs, there is a master suite, and two larger than average bedrooms, plus laundry.

There are two patios in the back to enjoy nature and watch the kids and dogs romp. Fire pit, and several cords of wood. Normally, in the spring and summer, we have a fruit and veggie garden, help yourself to ultimate in fresh and tasty black raspberries, blueberries, heirloom tomatoes, and herbs, in season. Small sitting area by front entrance is a nice place to feel the evening sun on your face, have a beverage, and watch the neighbors walking.

Partial use of garage is negotiable. Basement is reserved.

Weekly cleaning and lawn maintenance is included in the price, as are other utilities, other than phone.

Welcome to Rock Creek Cottage. Serene views from the deck and dock of deep water Rock Creek, by the Patapsco River and Chesapeake Bay in Pasadena. Clean, updated cottage with a new deck, new patio with fire pit and seating, and dock with seating. The Cottage has a high ceiling above the Kitchen and living area. There are 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds and 2 full bathrooms. Bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap are provided. Washer/Dryer with detergent/dryer sheets. Walking distance to a park, pharmacy, grocery, post office, restaurants. Bring your fishing pole. Contact the host if you would like to dock your boat. Close to Baltimore, Annapolis, and DC.

Sometimes homes are too crampy because there is too much furniture. I just have to mention that the shower in the primary bedroom is awesome. I had everything I needed. There are plenty of dishware and untensils. The refrigerator is great. There are plenty of towels. There were no problems that we ran into. TL;DR: This is a great home with a superb host."
