- "It was nice sized room kinda like corporate housing for an extended stay. Nice change from the cramped quarters I had been getting." - "At first glance the town does not look very appealing but the look is deceiving. It is in an industrial zone and many things reflect this on Via Roma which is the main street. This street is indicative of an American industrial street where you would have auto repair shops and transmission shops and many auto dealerships. However behind the hotel is the area that leads to the downtown district which is very quiet, safe, clean, and friendly. The hotel rooms are huge and the staff is accomodating 24 hours a day. They even bought a cappuccino up to us at 3am. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for lots of room. The bus ride to Rome in the morning is about 2O minutes to the Laurentino station and from there you catch the train or the metro as they call it here to Termini station which is the central station inside of Rome central. Expect to pay about 60-65 euro or about 100 US Dollars if you catch a taxi to the hotel. Or you can catch the bus to Rome Termini station for about 2 euros, and catch the train to Laurentino station and then switch to the bus for 2 euro all inclusive. The best way to travel is to buy a 3 day pass at the train station and this will allow you to jump off anywhere you like and get back on. Food is expensive so if you are traveling around it is a highly recommended idea that you fix sandwiches and drinks to take with you. The cost of a meal in rome e.g. lunch is about 20 euros or 27 american dollars."

Kitchen is functional. We had a little problem with the swimming pool during our stay but Paolo and Loredana were super quick to come fix it. There are many things to do in this quiet place yet close to Rome, approx. 30 minutes drive.

The absolute protagonist is the sea, with its wide beaches with the splendid scenery of the dunes behind it. Natural Reserve of the Italian State.

Free beaches alternate with the numerous bathing establishments that can be reached, as well as by car, or with a walk or take the 07 or 70 bus whose stops are along Via Po which stops at all the establishments up to Ostia (10 minutes from here).

It’s an urban area where you’re living amongst the local community which is really nice. The Pam supermarket is brilliant and only 5mins walk away. The only thing that isn’t too nice is the walk to the beach, it’s not particularly pedestrian friendly and parts of it a very close to a main road. That said, it’s only 15mins walk and once you’re there it is a gorgeous beach. Marine village beach and restaurant was lovely but expensive. Cuba Libre was our favourite - a little beach bar with suns beds and a laid back vibe - and cheaper."

- "Nine of us rented for a week and loved the house and grounds. The property looks like all the photos and is located in the perfect place for excursions to Ostia Antica, Frascati, Castle Gandolfo, Anzio, Ponza and day trips to Rome. Rooms are well appointed, baths well laid out and kitchen very well equip to feed lots of people. The upper deck became our yoga room and dinners under the setting sun on the large terrace were perfect. The only concerns are that the beach out front isn't private but you can rent umbrellas and chairs. Also, the two downstairs bedrooms have to have the shutters closed at night for security and that can make it warm. If bars were put on just one window in each room it would be lovely listening to the surf and feeling the breeze. We liked it so much we are planning a yoga retreat there next year!"

- "We were not originally planning on staying in this part of Italy, but when our original plans fell through we found Giacomo and Karen's place as a way to get a break from the hustle and bustle of Rome. It turns out that they were excellent hosts who tried to accommodate us in all of our needs, from letting us check in early to arranging a ride to the airport. The location of the apartment is excellent, within walking distance to shops and restaurants and just a stone throw's away from the beach. The beach is excellent, clean with clear water, and fantastic evening sunsets. In the week the beach was very empty and quiet, but on the weekend it turns into a festive, family affair packed with local (Roman?) Italians. There are very few tourists. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. We fell in love with the area, which was all made possible and enhanced by Giacommo and Karen's affordable apartment and hospitable nature. Very nice!"
