Pet friendly Coconut Cottage is a refurbished bright and breezy 1950s mid-century beachhouse with a large deck in a private fully fenced tropical backyard. Free, fast Wi-Fi & Netflix is included. The main living area of house is air conditioned, as is the master bedroom, there are ceiling fans in all rooms.
Coconut cottage is situated in a quiet street just an easy 2 minute stroll to the sands of Queens Beach. There is a Beach-side walkway leading to many cafes, restaurants, seaside shops, the Redcliffe Jetty, the beautiful Redcliffe Lagoon, in fact you can walk or cycle for kilometres in either direction to explore this gorgeous area (maps, local info, restaurant menus and recommendations provided).
Boats leave from the marina to Moreton Island and for dolphin spotting and whale watching (seasonal).
The Redcliffe Peninsula is well-positioned for easy access onto the motorway north to Sunshine Coast, south to Brisbane city and Gold Coast.
There is a train station (4 kilometres from house) with trains going direct into Brisbane City or for travel to the Domestic and International Airports.
There are buses at either end of the street to the go to the train station and local attractions.
A popular cafe is located just around the corner. There is also a chemist, post office, doctor, vet, convenience store, hairdresser and bakery an easy five min walk from the house.
The Redcliffe hospital is close by, with the house being a very convenient base for hospital visits.
The house is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area, and is also a relaxed place to unwind.

The entire house has a very peaceful and private feel in a quiet street close (easy, flat walk) to the beach and Redcliffe Jetty precinct for shops, award winning restaurants, cafes, Bee Gees Way, Sunday Market and lots more.

>>Bins must be placed out for collection on the correct night. (Yellow recycling bins are collected every second week.)
>>This is a non-smoking property. Any cigarette butts found will result in forfeiture of the bond.
>>Neighbour complaints = immediate removal or cancellation of booking
>>Accidental/deliberate damage will incur repair or replacement charges.
>>Guests must leave the property in a clean condition and return furniture to original positions or additional fees apply.

All dog waste must be cleaned up from the backyard before departure. Failure to do so will result in a $200 cleaning fee.

"Pandanas Apartment" - Redcliffe Q 4020
- "Despite being marketed as a 'stunning penthouse' this is the grubbiest, most poorly maintained and unwelcoming properties we have ever rented. We spent our first day buying cleaning products and cleaning a dirty bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms and floor surfaces. Unfortunately we couldn't remove the thick layers of dust from under the beds because the vacuum cleaner didn't work and the laundry was beyond redemption! The windows were filthy, blinds in some areas either not working or falling down and there was a dirty old piece of kitchen paper hanging out of the main bedroom's air conditioner vent (for some reason!). Many of the lights were not working, the walls covered by empty picture hooks, the dishwasher broken and an old microwave sat on the lounge floor. The roof patio was simply filthy, the spa grotty and the BBQ in dire need of replacement. Despite it's great size and view, this area had one tatty sofa and a broken outdoor coffee table for 6 people. In summary, the whole place was very poorly equipped and our agent had to be asked to bring in enough glasses and crockery for the 4 people staying there, despite it being a 6 person let! We also did another bout of cleaning and washed our own sheets and towels during our stay because the place was not serviced. We still haven't received our bond back, even though the place is now in cleaner than it was when we began our rental! The saving grace is the property's location, right on the water, and the front balcony is a joy to use with it's comfortable (though basic) outdoor dining setting. All in all though, we felt 'ripped off' and won't rent again unless there are major improvements to the property. Beginning with a major spring clean would be a good start!"
