Recently I had the pleasure of staying at the stunning Bora Bora Hotel and Beach Club at Islas del Rosario, Cartagena, Colombia. From the moment my sister and I arrived, Carolina, Leonardo, Antonio, Yuri, Maria Lindo, Roland, Jesu, Jorge, Adner, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff, provided hospitality and impeccable service to my sister and me. The well-appointed rooms combined with the natural beauty of its surroundings is to be experienced. In the morning, day only guests arrive to the beach club which offers different settings with different types of music for a fun ambience. On the other hand, for those that love tranquility, the private pool area for overnight guests only is the place. At 3pm the day guests leave and the place is left to the six-room overnight guests to enjoy fully. This is where the magic of the place gets elevated as it becomes your own, with gorgeous sunsets, nature sounds, views of crystal-clear warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, and incredible dinner service. Unbelievably gorgeous. Another highlight of our visit was visiting their sister property, Pao Pao, built under an aviary, a seven minute boat ride away. - "We recently stayed at this hotel. I have to say I was a little worried about the rating but now having stayed there I can honestly say it was wonderful. The staff is so nice! They go out of their way to be accommodating. The manager Tanya went around to each table to make sure eveyone was having a good time. We asked a few questions regarding the water situation. Many people commented that they should have water for guests. Well, Tanya explained this to us. Drinking water is liquid gold on the island. They have to bring it in from Cartagena. So it is perfectly understandable. The breakfast was very good the first morning we were there. On the second the breakfast changed to buffet with only scrabbled eggs which were watery. I asked for fried and again Tanya made it happen! Our room was nice and accommodated of our family of 4. The scuba diving was amazing. My daughter did 2 dives in the day and one at night. "
