There is no fence between our neighbor's yards. Please be respectful of this and their privacy.

We ask that you do not interact with the neighbors. This is a residential area and you just respect that the neighbors live here full time and are not interested in playing tour guide.

The cottage is located on the south side of Savannah on 1 ½ acre lot, close to the Truman Parkway, shopping & Lake Mayer (a park with picnic, 1 ½ mile path, fishing, tennis and basketball courts +). Handicap Accessible, Fully furnished and includes many Appliances & Laundry Room, plenty of Kitchenware, Netflix, WIFI, Fire Pit & Picnic area and fenced in yard. This cottage is 10 minutes from Downtown and Historic District and 30 minutes from Tybee island. There is plenty of parking available. Utensils for Oyster Roast or Savannah’s Famous Low Country Boil are available upon request. There is also a $150 party fee (15+ persons, payable upon arrival). THIS IS A NO SMOKING HOUSE. Fence is around a complex that includes other cottages and front gate left open. Pets must be housebroken, have current flea protection and cleaned up after. Others may have pets with them so I ask that no pet is left outside unattended and must be cleaned up after them. There is a newly installed Ring Door Security. It is turned on for your arrival and turned off after you arrive.

The kitchen was stocked with everything a family could possibly need for a night in...from utensils & ladles to pots n pans..I've never seen a kitchen so well equipped for a vacation rental and I've rented quite a bit from PCB to POCONOS PA. The decor was simple but elegant and comfortable. The master bathroom is spacious along with HOT-HOT water so be careful by testing the temp before getting in the shower! All in all, I definitely will recommend the Cottage to friends and family as a option for them to relax. As with all homes, it could use a deep cleansing-baseboards, 1/2 bathroom wall dusted where air vent flows ect...but again, all homes need a Deep Cleaning every so often. If Lori would have us again when we visit Savannah for family, she'll be the 1st place I'll look....my husband has Many family members there who at some point or another came over to spend time with him...family is important to us and we were blessed to see everyone while we were there Thank You Lori! Located on Wilmington Island. 15 minutes from historic downtown Savannah, 15 minutes from Tybee Island beaches – but not sure why you would ever want to leave this view! Beautiful view of Half Moon River across the marsh to Wassau Sound, barrier islands and ocean beyond. We are renting to you the bottom floor of our vacation home which has its own separate entrances and is completely separate from the upstairs. Master bedroom with water view has a king bed, flat screen TV. Second bedroom has queen bed, flat screen TV. Sitting area has two large sofas and another flat screen TV. Fully equipped kitchen (all electric -no gas appliances). Swimming pool with lounge chairs and view of the water. Gas grill and covered outside eating area. Two docks. The long dock, a 900 foot walk out to the deep water river, is a wonderful spot to fish, catch crabs or watch for dolphins. Great private outdoor shower also. You are welcome to bring your boat - public boat ramp or marina is 3 miles by land or 8 miles by water. From the house it is 4 miles by water to beaches and sand bars accessible only by boat. 4 more miles will bring you to the south end of Tybee where you can dock at restaurants such as A.J.'s and the Crab Shack. Bought this home because of the privacy, amazing view and the easy access to the ocean and barrier islands. So fun to go out to spend the day on the sandbars or explore the tidal creeks. Then at home, sit and watch the egrets and great blue herons in the tidal marsh. Because of the 8 foot tidal swing, the view is always changing. We have outdoor cameras viewing the front and back yards. There are NO indoor cameras.

This unit is a retired retro hair salon, with Marilyn Monroe and Elvis showcased, & retro mid-century design, that has been newly renovated into a vacation studio with it's retro essence remaining. We're located exactly between Tybee Island Beach and downtown Savannah, 10 minutes each way. Making it ideal to visit both easily. Your kitchenette provides enough for you to enjoy whatever your liking. It has a retro fridge, a cooking combo oven, griddle & coffee pot, also retro, & retro mini blender. Condiments are provided. The faucet is set up with an under counter water filter system. No need for water bottles. There is plenty of storage under the bed & also baskets. A dresser & cabinet for unpacked items, a hanging rack with hangers is provided along with a stream iron. A stool for short people like me, a cabinet for bathroom items & a shower shaving stool - it's easiest to use placing it close to the curtain. Also a small first aid kit but if more is needed just ask. Plus a fire extinguisher, of course. Our neighborhood is very quiet & close to all popular locations, grocery, Bank, bars, restaurants, shopping, nail salons, CBD/THC store, post office, dentist, urgent care, liquor stores & all can realistically be walked to. Except for Walmart, it's a 3-5 minute drive. Anything needed, we're available, just text or call, our #'s given in check-in instructions. Sorry no pets.
