We love this house. We've been here for over 30 years and we love it even more as our family continues to grow. It's comfortable and unpretentious and it is our favorite place to be for family gatherings and summer pool parties.

Our 4 bedroom home has lots of light and great outdoor living space. It's a perfect house for relaxing with family in any season. Have a bar-b-que at your own private resort in the secluded backyard and warm up after your swim or hot tub in front of the outdoor brick fireplace. Or, cozy up to one of two indoor fireplaces during the colder months.

The fully equipped kitchen opens onto a comfortable family room with flat screen tv and fireplace. A sliding door opens onto the pool area and extends the living space. There is also a living room with a fireplace and Steinway piano, a dining room with seating for 8 and a table on the back deck that seats 8.

The master bedroom has a full bath (with shower, no bathtub), king size bed, tv and private deck. Two of the bedrooms are separated from the rest of the house by a room with washer/dryer, a pull-out couch and computer. These bedrooms have their own full bath (bathtub and shower) and a door leading to the pool area. Another bedroom has a trundle bed and is across from a full bath (shower, not bathtub).

You will be a 5-minute walk away from the beautiful bayside Tiburon bike path. Follow the path for two miles and you'll reach downtown Tiburon with great restaurants, stores and ferry boats to San Francisco, Sausalito and Angel Island.

Along with the wonderful shops, Movie Theater, restaurants, gym, wine tasting, grocery stores, and much more. There are sailboat races every Friday, Saturday, and most Sundays, along with sailing all through the week. One of the wonders of Tiburon is the ever changing views. There are so many beautiful sights from all the pleasure boats, cruise ships, fishing boats, private and commercial sail boats, merchant and cruise ships going in and out of the Golden Gate as well. You won’t want to leave!

The Neighborhood: The amazing and beautiful 5 minutes walk to downtown Tiburon, where you can shop, dine, or stop at Tiburon’s wine tasting room, see a movie, or catch the ferry to San Francisco, Sausalito, and or Angel Island. Tiburon is home to 2 exclusive yacht clubs, Corinthian Yacht Club, and The San Francisco Yacht Club. Napa Valley and Sonoma wine country are within 45 minutes drive and the newer wineries of Mendocino on the coast and Lake County are just north of them. Muir Woods (redwood national forest) is within 10 minute drive, and the famous Mount Tamalpais (birth of mountain biking) is 15 minutes. The famous Mill Valley is a ten minutes drive from our home. Muir Beach and Stinson Beach are 20-30 minutes away. In town - We have a large beautiful library, which has been fully remodeled, with two fireplaces. You can stay and read a book, or bring one back, open the window, curl up on a comfortable chair, while listen to the waves, and melting your cares away!

Just a few suggestions: Take a walk to down town Tiburon for a glass of wine, in the wine tasting room on the famous Ark Row, then do some sightseeing through the town, or drive to the beautiful Mill Valley (just across the highway from Tiburon) for a hike and lunch, and then later catch a ferry to San Francisco or Sausalito for a little dinner and a play, so many choices. You could even stay in town and watch a movie, at the Tiburon play house... They have the best popcorn!!

Angel Island has history dating back to the Civil War days, so take a historical tour of the Island, rent bikes or Segways, walk, or just catch a ride on the Island train. Muir Woods, the wine country, many beaches: all are only a very short drive or ferry ride away. There’s just too much to mention!
Restaurants in Town: Tiburon’s Main Street, an easy 5 minute walk, is picturesque and quaint, with excellent restaurants, including Servino’s (Italian) right on the waterfront, which has no-cover live music many evenings, the famous Sam’s Anchor Café, (known worldwide), Waypoint Pizza, The Tiburon Grill and more. For breakfast or lunch, our favorite is Salt and Pepper or Cafe Acri for the best pastries and espresso, but all cafes serve the best food and coffee, so you can’t go wrong.
Other helpful ideas – Woodlands Market (groceries), a wonderful movie theater, drycleaners, an amazing library with two fireplaces and a wealth of information on our little town community called Tiburon and Belvedere.
Friday Nights in Tiburon: Friday nights are something really special in Tiburon. Between April and October, the Main Street is closed to traffic and there’s a big street party on Friday nights. The restaurants serve dinner al fresco, and there are two or more live bands! Also, on Friday nights, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, check out the Friday Night Races at the Corinthian Yacht Club and San Francisco Yacht Club (April to September). You can watch the races from shore, or if you want to volunteer (no charge, no experience necessary), you can be a crew member on a race! If you’re interested in this, please ask the owner, he’ll fill you in on the details. If you are a sailing enthusiast, we definitely need to talk!

- "My family and I just got back today after four nights at Loren‘s property, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The home itself was very clean with newer furniture, a very well stocked kitchen and terrific sitting spaces both inside and out. The kitchen had all of the cooking utensils and dishes that you would need, including sharp knives. The pantry was also stocked with some basic necessities like olive oil, coffee, salt and pepper, and individually sized condiments. The bathrooms had many soft, fluffy towels, almost like what you would expect in a nice hotel. The most impressive thing about the house, however, is the unbelievable view that you have from both decks, the dining room, the kitchen, the living room, and the two downstairs bedrooms. This view extends from Angel Island on the left to the entire north side of the San Francisco skyline, to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Tiburon Marina and village on the right. During our four day stay, we saw the fog roll in and out providing us a constantly changing landscape to enjoy. In addition, the house is a 10 minute walk into downtown Tiburon, where there are several restaurants, shops, and a gourmet grocery store. Loren was super responsive during the booking and lead-up to our first day, but we didn’t have to reach out to her during our stay since there were no issues with the house. This is a vintage, authentic Mid-century sprawling ranch style 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home with sweeping views of the Richardson Bay, Mt. Tamalpais, and Tiburon hillside. The single story home is tastefully furnished with high-end finishes and high thread count linens. Currently the home is set up with one of the rooms used as an office. It is located on a hill near Reed School and just a quick drive down the hill to the quaint town of Tiburon.
