And for an hotel on the sea this is quite odd. Missing baby-club and music. Only piano-bar music, the siger was very nice. - "Beautiful and stunning traditional italian architecture. Nice service, stuff friendly, highlighting the massages in Spa, a must during the stay. Sea view front rooms are modern and you can wake up with ocean view with only ocean noices." - "Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Not many spoke English but we went very early/just out of season so fewer staff and less guests. We had fun using my little knowledge of Italian and google translate. Pool area was very nice but not very large or deep so nice to take a dip to cool off, not great for swimming. Not much shade. Private beach area nice but nothing open and not allowed in the sea as not in season (no life guard), although website said open in May the hotel staff said June. (A short walk away was a public beach. However, water was freezing so not something we were keen to do!) It was nice and quiet, but towards the end of the week they were doing maintenance getting ready for the season. Spa was lovely, extra money to use as we’d only booked B&B but again staff were lovely and the spa was very nice. We were treated to the private spa experience. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, a lot of pastries but not much fruit on offer. Eggs cooked to order and staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Our hotel room, situated a few steps from the garden, was modern and spacious, with a good sized bathroom with a large shower. Balcony with two chairs & small table and lovely sea view. Only downside was no tea/coffee making facilities or easy chairs in room. Would have been nice to have room for loungers on the balcony. There was a small fridge and a safe. I would stay here again but bring a travel kettle & travel iron. "

The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two separate beds which can be joined together if necessary. In one room there is a wardrobe, in the other a large chest of drawers and exposed clothes hangers. The bathroom has a shower and bidet, with a window overlooking the sea. The living room-kitchen has a splendid built-in kitchenette with sink under a window overlooking the sea, many of our guests have expressed their "pleasure in washing dishes while looking at the sea". The large terrace overlooking the sea represents the most evocative place in the house, where you spend most of your time, having breakfast, lunch and dinner, relaxing while chatting or reading a good book, or letting yourself be involved in the colors and scents of the sea, the sky and the garden in front of the house. The sunsets are splendid, and the reflections of the moon on the sea make the nights magical. We are outside the center of Torre San Giovanni, a very popular tourist spot, also due to its splendid beaches. Our area always remains relatively quiet and within 500 meters. there are all the necessary services, bar, restaurant, pizzeria, market, equipped beach, etc. The inlet in front of the house is rocky, very beautiful and easily accessible, there is also a walkway for disabled people that leads directly into the water.

Thanks to this, and to other landscape constraints that have prevented other buildings, here it has been created as a small village, with the streets closed, which end all in the various villas and typical Mediterranean houses. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and silence of the countryside, but enjoy the benefits of the sea! The villa is ideal for a large group of friends or for two / three families with children: fresh, welcoming and full of new appliances, has parking, garden and above all a breathtaking view of the sea.
Although many guests space is not missing (over 200 sq.m.). In fact we have three double bedrooms, each with a bunk bed Ikea (they are very comfortable) and a ceiling fan.
Thus 4 beds x 3 rooms + the possibility of adding another 2/3 beds in large living room.
Two of the three rooms have a separate entrance, this way it is possible to reconcile the different needs of any time of entry / exit from home.
The villa has two separate bathrooms, each with shower (plus two outdoor showers), kitchen and an open plan living room of over 60 square meters; although I am sure that you will be all day at sea, the real attraction of this part of Salento.
Just across the coast Torre San Giovanni Gallipoli (Corso Annibale), and you can dive into the most beautiful sea of ​​Salento. The distance from the gate of the villa to the sea is less than 100 meters: there is a short path in the Mediterranean (in the middle of Natural Park of Ugento SIC) and leads to a low cliff, even very easy for younger children and, in addition all accessible to people with disabilities through a wooden walkway that is mounted in the summer by the city for some residents forced in a wheelchair.

The esplanade of the beaches, over 10km of dunes of fine sand of coral (the so-called Maldives of Salento) is about 8 km in the direction of Santa Maria di Leuca (who is over 30km).
Along the coast the same in the opposite direction (to the north) you get to Gallipoli (15 km). The village of Torre San Giovanni is 3 km, but you will not go there for the daily needs. Near the villa there are in fact several mini markets, as well as bar, restaurant, pizzeria, church, newsagent, etc.
You can have lunch and dinner at home with total comfort: the kitchen has an oven, large fridge and all crockery. The large living room has tables and chairs for large tables (we we did in the past lunches of August 20 people!). The kitchen is still large enough to have breakfast, although we prefer to eat outside, in the front garden or on the raised terrace overlooking the sea or in the back garden which is equipped with a canopy in a well-shaded rods and, more distant than a great fig tree. Right here there is also space for the barbecue (you should not miss the grilled fresh fish to buy in the harbor fish market).
For eating out do not recommend Gallipoli (unique spenna-tourist resorts of Salento). I will suggest a bit 'of beautiful places in the medieval village of Felline (7 km away) in Ugento, Ruffano, Casarano, Lecce and Taurisano.

Mario had brought us some lovely cheeses, bread, olives and melons (and a bottle of Rose wine :) It was very kind and thoughtful for him to bring us a taste of the lovely local food. - "Very clean and beautiful zen feeling. Nothing to need for. Gorgeous property and the host was amazing. Only thing to note is that one bedroom and one bathroom are in separate buildings...so if you are a group of four (two couples) one couple will be sleeping in a separate building and the washroom is separate from that building....if you need to use a washroom in the middle of the evening - you have to go outside. However, very lit up. The grounds are well kept for and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."
