The main floor has a huge patio running along the entire length of the place and has the master bedroom just off the living room. This floor also has the kitchen and the first set of washer and dryer. The lower level has a couple of bedrooms a wet bar and a cool power table and TV. The bottom level has another washer/dryer and the ping ping table pool table and foosball table, a tv, and a couch, and another patio. Basically this is the perfect place for a bunch of guys looking to crash for a golf trip, a bachelor party of a family or two looking for a nice place to stay with a lot of things to do at the house. The owners were very responsive and worked with me whenever I needed something. After i booked the stay, it turned out that I needed an additional day and they made it happen no problem. I had an incredible experience and my friends did too. So many times in the past, there was a laundry list of things that needed to be done and this was not the case here. All that needed to be done was putting the towels in the shower and dishes in the sink. This allowed us to focus on spending time together instead of doing chores. I would def recommend!"

Having lived our lives here in the desert, we newly renovated our family adobe block home ourselves, as artists and builders, to capture what we love about the desert and the local culture. It is earthy and elegant, like a yurt inside, one big open and spacious room with a stunning wood ceiling. Only the bathroom is separate with a beautiful Moroccan Tadelakt walk-in shower and claw foot tub. The full kitchen has a Mexican Talavera tile counter top, full sized refrigerator, stocked with all the basics, espresso machine, and many amenities.
The backyard is fully fenced with a ramada for shade, a fire pit, and a propane barbecue.
The desert property is filled with saguaro cactus, and native plants. You can enjoy a meal under the ironwood tree, watching the sunsets or mountains . Perfect for astronomers and night sky enthusiasts as this is a dark sky designated area with the world famous Kitt Peak Observatory less than 50 miles away. Great for hikers with Saguaro National Park trails within minutes , and many cycling and mountain biking opportunities.
The Sonoran Desert Museum is 6 minutes away. Old Tucson , once a Film Studio for over 300 Western Movies , now a theme park, is a 15 minute drive through the park. Iron Wood National Monument is a 15 minute drive to the west for wide open uninhabited desert experiences and hikes with ancient petroglyphs.
Downtown Tucson is only 30 minutes away and Tucson International airport is also only 40 minutes away. The Tucson Mountains separate this home from the city so you’re able to enjoy the peace of the desert yet still “go to town”. Plenty of private parking including trailer and or an RV.

- "We didn’t first know that we would be in a group of cabins, prefer our privacy, but the way they were laid it out it didn’t matter, we had a beautiful stone courtyard which was fantastic in the morning. Because of its history I don’t think these were built for a taller person, so you have to be aware. The shower was nice & hot , and the beds were comfortable . Cozy desert retreat, with mountain views and amazing trails minutes away. This contemporary, updated, large casita was completely transformed last year and offers beautiful views, privacy, and comfort.

Our casita is the perfect space for 1-3 people, complete with fully functional, kitchenette, patio with desert views, super comfy queen bed and fold out couch, turntable with fun mix of records, streaming TV and reliable wifi. Situated on a 5 acre working horse barn, you may see the everyday workings of our small ranch, but will have privacy, quiet, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, as well as stunning, star filled, night skies.

All of this and only 15-20 minutes from downtown, local ( and not so local) shopping and many of Tucsons lauded restaurants. 5-10 minutes from Saguaro National Park West, The Desert Museum, Old Tucson and more. Walk or cycling trails abound, and can be accessed with or without a car.

Guest house is situated on the opposite side of the main house and barn, and while you may see some horse activity, its very calm and relaxing.

Important to note, there is a gun range a few miles away, which is sometimes not active, and sometimes quite active, and can cause noise, but is not usually audible inside the house.

We have a pool, with access available depending on the time of your stay.

If you are traveling with one or two horses, we may have stalls available for a short stay, with proper paper work and arrangements, for an additional fee. Please contact me for more information.

We are in the desert, thus there are many desert animals; coyotes, deer, javelina, owls, hawks and so many other birds, as well as snakes, scorpions, and other little creatures. The property is kept pretty clean, so we dont have too many issues with these kinds of creatures, but they do make their way through the property now and then, sometimes stopping for a rest. We suggest always keeping the front door closed to eliminate the possibility of any unwelcome guests.

We have two very friendly dogs, who LOOOOVE everyone, but while you visit we can keep them somewhat contained to the main side of the house, unless you would like to interact with them.

One dog is welcome in the guest house, with communication before your visit. The small patio has a gate, but very small dogs should be kept close, due to coyotes and hawks.

We are typically available should any issues arise, and happy to answer any questions, recommend restaurants, trails or other adventures during your visit.

We are happy to do a laundry for you as needed, once or twice a week, for a small fee. If your stay is 2+ weeks, this is complimentary.
