Our rates have been lowered due to no boats or jet skis allowed to launch from any public ramps. Public ramps are closed as a preventive measure to help stop the introduction of a new, invasive species of mussel (the Golden Mussel). Shoreline & dock fishing, swimming, kayaking and other non-motorized activities are still allowed. As long as the public ramps remain closed, we will keep our rates at the lower level. BUT, fun is still happening at the lake! BBQing, lakeside firepit and all around good times with family and friends is just a booking away! Take advantage of our lower rates!

6 PERSON MAX STILL IN AFFECT
If you're planning to invite additional guests beyond 6 people anytime during your stay, please keep searching. We do not allow more than 6 persons ANYTIME during your stay. No additional visitors. Our neighbors are very close by and expect us to abide by the 6 person max regulation that we've put in place. Violation of this regulation will result in immediate eviction, loss of all rents and deposit. We are trying to keep our rental license and be able to continue to offer this wonderful rental on the lake.

Please note: Due to Tri-Dam’s invasive species prevention efforts, public launch ramps are currently closed for motorized boats. The public launch ramp is expected to be open by Spring 2026, with an inspection process. In the meantime, the lake remains fully open for kayaks, paddleboards, swimming, fishing, and birdwatching. (The home is a unique Cozy Condominium that sits WATERFRONT. As with many waterfront homes we do have stairs involved and a sloped driveway. We also have street level private parking as well if you’d like to park above and walk down. We have an extremely large area for boat parking in our cul-de-sac.). . NOTE: if you are bringing a powered boat and or jet ski, there are restrictions at Lake Tulloch and we advise you please messages us to go over them prior to booking.

We passed through the city, Copperopolis and Lake Tulloch/reservoir last year traveling from Angels Camp where we own a time share. Lake Tulloch is absolutely beautiful even after California storms this year. Our stay was Sun-Thurs. The property was nice and clean. It is well stocked with cleaning supplies. Lots of cooking utensils and plenty of pots/pans. All amenities worked with no issues and the bed was comfortable. We were in and out a lot but took a day to rest. We brought our boat. There was no traffic whatsoever on the water. We may have seen 8 boats in total mostly fishermen and others enjoying the nice weather. The house comes with a boat slip. It was nice that we did not have to re-launch daily. The boat was docked at the slip during the period of our stay. We just walked down to the boat dock, got in and off we went. The main bridge is out due to damages from the storm. We asked around but there were no details on when the repairs will be made. With that said, we had to drive 50mins to the public campgrounds to initially launch the boat. Once it was in, it was a 15 min. boat ride to the lake house. I believe if the bridge was open, it would have decreased the travel time tremendously. The driveway is very steep to the condo. We parked up top and walked (very slowly) with our luggage and groceries down and up. We brought our wagon to help with the haul. Then there are 16 steps up to the condo. I counted every time I went up and down. Lol... We definitely got in your daily steps and a good cardio workout. It's nice that the condo is located on the top level. What a beautiful view! The condo complex consists of four units. One other resident was there. In and out probably for work. II'm glad this unit was available for booking. We enjoyed ourselves and we are definitely coming back to Lake Tulloch!"

South Tulloch Lakeside 2016 sq ft home, designed to have a great lake experience. With its own personal boat dock. Have a good time swimming, fishing off the dock, water-skiing, wakeboarding, or raft-pulling from your boat. Inside the house is a vast living sun room with 4' high windows overlooking the dock & lake, with plenty of sitting room, TV with Dvd player, (no cable bring your own DVDs though I do supply some), & Foosball Table. There is a large kitchen, and dining room area that seats 10 people, with all the amenities you may need for cooking & dining. Outside thru the sliding glass door is a deck with bbq & patio furniture for relaxing with a lakeside view. Also downstairs there 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed & one room with
full bed-single on top type of bunkbed. 2 1/2 bathrooms. A screened-in breezeway runs along the length of the house with a trundle bed. Upstairs is a master bedroom with king & queen beds & a big bathroom with a shower & jacuzzi bath, & a balcony thru the sliding glass door for enjoying the stars in the evenings. Only bath towels and linens are provided..... You will need to bring your own larger beach towels.

Our house is nestled up in the hills of Copperopolis and overlooks beautiful Lake Tulloch and Calaveras County. The location provides a central location for adventures, to Yosemite, Bear Valley, Jamestown, Murphys, and much more. Our spacious home is perfect for families, and we can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children with ease. There is a spacious kitchen, large living room with plenty of couch space. There is an outdoor wood-burning fire pit for nightly s'mores. This place is perfect for family getaway any time of year.

The space
This home has two floors. The top floor has: 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, one additional twin rollaway bed, and a living room with a queen sofa sleeper, wood burning fireplace, and full kitchen (with two separate sinks and food prep locations!). It also has a large dining table, and a window with some beautiful (partial) lake views.

The downstairs floor has a bedroom with a large California King bed, and a second small living room containing a mini kitchenette with countertop, 2 burner electric stove, and sink. The downstairs also has a full bath (toilet with shower) and a separate laundry room.
Guest access
You will have full access to the home, but please don't open locked cabinets or boxes marked "owner".

Also, the multi-level decks wrap around and there is a path that winds down very close to the water's edge. (At that point, our property is very narrow so please make sure not to go onto neighboring property as there is no direct lake access from this property.) If you want to swim in the lake, we ask that you instead go to drive to public access points . PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO DOCK AND NO DIRECT WATER ACCESS FOR GUESTS FROM OUR PROPERTY. If you wish to partake in water activities, please drive to a nearest public access point, such as the Tulloch Day Use Recreation Area at 7430 O'Byrnes Ferry Rd, a 16 minute drive. We hope you enjoy our serene, quiet environment and wish you a great stay!
Other things to note
Please do not park in the cul-de-sac, but instead park in the driveway or at the top of the driveway. And again, we'd like to request that you enjoy the peaceful and quiet neighborhood and all the beauty the forest/lake environment has to offer. We just ask that you do not go onto any neighboring properties and keep voices quiet in consideration of the year-round neighbors. Thanks!

This 2500 sq home provides all the modern day amenities for a comfortable stay. Large corner lot with fun outdoor space and all outdoor equipment. If you would rather stay in and enjoy my home- it’s fully equipped for bbqs, cooking and baking. Enjoy hot summer nights outside with outdoor fire pits or enjoy winter days with the wood burning fire place indoors. A short drive to the main Marina to cool down and take a dip in the lake.

Being just a 2 minute drive to the boat was the best! There was a minor issue with the AC but completely out of the owners control and they were very accommodating and sympathetic. We cannot wait to come back to this home again and enjoy another great stay. I would highly recommend this home to everyone. We miss the location already!"

Beautiful and Ready to use for your vacation! Great for families or business getaways. Close to wineries and all that the gold country has to offer. Only one hour to Yosemite, and very close to several lakes.

If this was resolved and made clear, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Cath, the property manager was very understanding and promptly refunded funds for the 3rd night."

*** With regret, we let you know that the ability to launch motorized boats into Lake Tulloch has been impacted by the threat of an invasive species of mussel found at the Stockton port. Private launches have closed, and the HOA launch for Camp Kobe has severe and complicated restrictions for guest launchings (including a 30 day quarantine for boats). Until this situation can be resolved, Camp Kobe will not be available to guests. Please note: Lake Tulloch remains open for swimming, kayaking, canoes, and floating. Only motorized vessels are impacted. No mussels have been found in Lake Tulloch, The lake is full, and as beautiful as ever.

Camp Kobe at Lake Tulloch is a big 4 bedroom A-Frame cabin, featuring a private boat dock and a sandy private beach lot. Expansive, full on views of Lake Tulloch sparkle from almost everywhere in the house. Follow the trail downhill to your own sandy cove, while your boat waits for you on a private dock.

Privacy and good vibes abound. 2 large furnished decks overlook the lake, and there are no neighbors on either side. This house is all about being together with friends and family with a pristine lake as your playground.

Now that the crowds are gone, you can enjoy much lower fall rates, perfect weather, and an uncrowded lake. This time of year is perfect for paddle boarders, canoes, kayaks and of course, last of season wakeboarding or water skiing.

Consider renting for a few days at our lower rates before you decide on a full vacation next summer.

Expect magnificent sunrises and sunsets over the rocky ridges that surroung the lake. Make sure to bring your binoculars to watch the wildlife, see the tabletop mountain in the distance, or to check out the activity on the lake.

The house is extremely private with no houses on either side, and is nestled among mature oaks and pines on an acre of land. With an east facing exposure, you can watch the sun come up from the deck, but have shade for cocktail hour or dinner on the deck.

There is level off street parking for 4 cars plus your boat and trailer. There are no stairs to enter the main level of the house from the parking area.

Camp Kobe is comprised of 3 side by side lots, and you have exclusive use of all 3.. The house is on one lot, and sits higher to capture the views. The adjacent lots have the waterfront area which is accessed via a trail down from the house to the beach and dock.

The trail slopes down from the house and is uphill from the beach. This is a moderately steep climb and may not be suitable for the elderly. Alternate access to the beach area is from the launch area which is next door to the beach area.

The beach area has a big U-shaped newer dock for your boats. There is also a sandy area with chairs and a picnic table so you can spend the day at the water. Wakeboard, water ski, jet ski, tube, kayak, or simply float or swim in the lake. The waterfront area is on slow water (meaning boats can only cruise slowly in this part of the lake) making it ideal for swimming. You can launch around the corner at the homeowner's launch facility and will be approximately 5 minutes to the fast water.

There are 3 levels on the house, each level has a full bathroom. There are 2 master bedrooms, each with a king bed and a lake view. The other 2 bedrooms have a total of 3 queen beds. There are also 2 living areas so the kids can have their own space to play games and watch TV.

The dining area has a big round table that will seat 8 and overlooks the lake. There is also a counter area with 2 barstools and tables on the deck for dining. You will find a well-equipped kitchen and a china cabinet with everything you need to serve your group. There is also a newer gas grill on the deck.

We will consider one or two well behaved dogs with a pet fee that is passed through to our housekeeping team.

The best thing about the house is the ability of the group to hang out and enjoy the vacation in so many different areas. Play on the beach and dock area, watch the action on the upper deck with an expansive lake view, hide out and play cards on the lower deck (completely shaded with furniture and a direct view of the beach) watch a movie in the game room, cook, talk, and drink wine in the main living area, or hide out in the loft to read, watch TV or work on the computer (there is Internet access).

This house has been in our family for over 26 years and was an instant success as a vacation rental 12 years ago. Camp Kobe was named after a beloved dog, who came to be a part of our family and our lakehouse experience in the early years of ownership.

Lake Tulloch continues to be discovered as the perfect lake getaway, only a 2 hour drive from most points in the Bay Area. If you want to graduate from camping, or simply have an old fashioned vacation in a beautiful lakeside cabin, Camp Kobe may be a perfect fit.
