Our home is situated just a 10 minute drive from the Pacific Highway and we are an ideal stopover if you are on a road trip or just looking for a quiet space to relax close to the beach and cafes.
The one bedroom self contained studio apartment is situated underneath the quiet end of our home and has a private entrance through the surrounding gardens .
The space contains a bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and washing machine, a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, slow cooker, sandwich toaster , sink , a lounge area with TV and recliner chairs , and comfy twin king single beds which can be pushed together if required. My Wonderful beach house I built with new and recycled timbers located in the bush on an estuary with own path to the beach- either walk through beautiful rainforest and over estuary bridge to the beach or drive to the town beaches in 8 minutes. Timber ceilings and floors, great big cover verandah to watch birds and wildlife under 1x8 metre lounge room with plenty of lounges, a huge lopi wood fire, a large dining table, tv and dvd, stereo, and a desk for computers, etc. with a monitor to plug your notebook into. Private, peaceful and very spacious this house has plenty of regulars staying so we are confident you will enjoy it too.

Very Spacious 1,Well equipped new kitchen with dishwasher and gas stove, electric oven, and appliances such as juicer, rice maker, slow cooker, etc.
3 bedrooms: main bedroom is 8.5x4 metres with a king bed and separate lounge area with second TV and DVD. Verandah is 25 Metres long with lounge areas, a dining table, a table for breakfast by the main room and a reclining couch. Weber bbq,

The front and back of the house is cleared 30 metres around the house. There is a 6x6 metre carport for cars. You can walk to the beach right from the path starting at the house- or walk thru the woods.

This part of North Coast is full of great things to see and do- several surfing spots to walk and drive to, 3 ks drive to the town and 1 hour walk south along 4 beaches to nambucca jetty from the house. Other attractions include Bellingen and the Promised Land, 1/2 hour, Dorrigo National Rainforest, 50min and tons more. I guarantee you will feel like a different person after a holiday here.

What more could you want? A stunning environmentally designed solar passive home in a bush setting; fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, hear the kookaburras, see the visiting kangaroos, echidna, goannas, parrots and tawny frogmouths from the large wraparound deck. Always a place in the shade or the sun to sit, relax, read a book or drink a favourite tipple. Three ample sized queen bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, one with an ensuite and separate entrance, the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom with a large walk in shower and a bath. The house makes an ideal location for grown up gatherings, family meet ups or a quiet wind-down from urban life. Our house is not really ideal for young toddlers due to the steep steps and glass doors, also parents please note there are only queen sized beds.
A beautiful kitchen with ample amenities, large fridge, dishwasher, induction cooktop and fan oven to cook or use the Beefeater barbeque on the deck. Two nature trails lead through the bush down to Deep Creek estuary and the beach, a haven for swimmers, sunbathers and fisherfolk ( just five minutes walk from the house).
The house uses tank water but there is a drinking water spigot in the kitchen for town water.
Wash off salt and sand in an outside shower downstairs.

The house is close to the beach in a quiet cul-de-sac. It's a short walk through bush-land to the surf beach and lagoon. You’ll love it because of the cool and breezy deck with tree views; just sit back and listen to the birds and the breaking waves.

The home has 4 bedrooms: 1 x queen with en-suite, 1 x double, 2 x 2 singles. It has another full family bathroom, a separate third toilet, and a laundry. The large open plan kitchen - living - dining opens onto a wide covered deck looking into the adjoining bush reserve. There is a second covered outdoor area with a BBQ. Off street parking and rollover kerbside parking spaces accommodate up to 4 cars.

The entire home is exclusively available for up to 6 guests.

What to bring

Please bring bed sheets, bath towels, and toiletries. All other bedding is provided.
A few basics may be available via our honour system (replace something if you finish it, or make a non-perishable contribution).

About the area

Valla Beach is a relaxed place, and for more than 100 years holiday makers have sought it out because of its beautiful coastline with white sandy surf beaches, rocky outcrops, rock pools, and fishing spots.

South Valla Beach, where this house is located, has a surf beach with life guards in summer school holidays, an amenities block, and BBQs. It also has a surf free lagoon/estuary that is good for small children to play in, and for paddle boarding, canoeing, and fishing.

The local tavern serves family meals starting at $7, and there are two cafes with delicious menus and a small selection of grocery basics, a butcher, and a pharmacy. Supermarkets, cinema, and more eating options are just 10 minutes away.

Getting there

Travel to Valla Beach is by car. It is 20 minutes drive from Coffs Harbour airport if you are flying, and hire cars are readily available at the airport.

Getting around

The surf beach and lagoon are about 300 m walk through the bush. The cafe, pharmacy, butcher and tavern are 1 km via a paved foot path, or a minute in the car.
