- "Good location with a decent rooms of you aren't looking for luxury you would consider it !" - "The hotel is located in a nice area with beautiful view on the lake, restaurant with good food, outside seating and 10 min. walk to the lake. The hotel and rooms are not that fresh anymore - that's may be why it is 2* rated " - "The hotel is right next to Annecy, which is a lovely place. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is not very lovely. Our room was a single bedroom, which had a washbasin, a bidet and a shower all in the same space. The room did not have its own toilet, so remember to check the room description! The shower door would not close and water kept leaking on to the fitted carpet. The room was very stuffy and we both had headaches after sleeping there for one night. The walls are thin and you could hear the shared toilet being used through the adjoining wall. When checking in, we were confused as the room did not have its own bathroom and used a shared toilet. The staff kept trying to push a more expensive room on us even though we asked for a moment for ourselves. They then said that it was already paid for, which led to some confusion while checking out. As we understood that the room had already been billed from my credit card, we left the key at the reception and walked towards the door. She started yelling at us in French that we were leaving without paying. This was not our intention and we stopped immediately. After some confusion I paid with my credit card (the "paid for" from the day before was only the cover charge). The lady kept insinuating that we had tried to leave without paying even though it was an honest mistake. The staff we met were generally very pushy and rude. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had."

We enjoyed skiing in La Croix Fry a nice family ski resort in the Aravis mountain range (30 minutes by car) The ski passes are very reasonable compared to other resorts. the drive going up is really beautiful , old typical chalets covered by snow in the preserved Manigod Valley. The apartment is very clean and cozy in the winter and has beautiful view on the lake and garden. The owners are very helpful and discreet. I highly recommend this vacation rental!"
