The taxi service they use do not have a metre and make up the taxi fare so haggling is useful. The best thing to do is ensure the hotel staff ask the cost of the journey so the taxi driver has little room to ask for extra. The quality of food and drink is poor. Don't ask for a cocktail as corners are cut. The food has little flavour. The menu stated the nachos come with avocado and cheese. The latter appeared to be flavoured sauces and there was no real cheese. There was telephone in the room and the safe was broken. A very expensive place for poor quality."

The house is quietly situated in the charming village center of Wassenaar. Near the beach, dunes and forest. There are numerous shops and cozy restaurants within walking distance. The environment is an ideal starting point for excursions.
