Retreat to the Green Mountains in this newly renovated, 4-BR / 5-bed mountain chalet perched in the hills overlooking the Dover / Wilmington area mountains. The home features two living rooms (upstairs & downstairs), with a full kitchen, atrium-style dining area, and game room in the basement. Wrap-around porch with 4-person sauna offers sweeping views of the surrounding wilderness, offering a peaceful view out to nature in all seasons. 10-minutes to Mount Snow and minutes to Downtown Wilmington.

Located 5-min to Downtown Dover, 8-min to Downtown Wilmington. 10-min to Mount Snow base.

Getting Around:
Car necessary and in the winter, 4WD is required; there is a hill to get up to the property and 2WD without snow tires will have difficulty if the roads are slushy.

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.

Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.

Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.

Air conditioning: There's a total of 3 units available at the house. The units are in the main level bedroom and the two second floor bedrooms. AC availability is seasonal and depending on weather (late spring and summer). Heating is also seasonal, and depending on weather, available during the cold seasons (autumn-winter).

Pets: Cats are not allowed on the property. Dogs are allowed on the property. The following charges will apply: $150 for the first pet, plus $50 for each additional pet.

Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.

- "6 friends stayed the weekend to celebrate a birthday. Without a singular primary suite this was ideal for a friend group. The smallest room has a twin bed but is private and sits beside a bathroom so seems to offset the larger rooms. Kitchen is well appointed and flows nicely into open concept living room. Smart TV was easy to use and was used for music. Fire place is nice but provided wood was unusable as it sits uncovered outside. Can easily purchase wood at local markets though. Sauna on the deck is convenient and a nice bonus. Beautiful treetop views - quite a steep road and driveway so be careful when slick. Can see neighbors but still feels private. House and a few bars/breweries nearby are dog friendly which was an added bonus. Our pup loved the space. Owners were excellent to work with. Recommend."

Unit is part of the garage attached to main house but with private entrance and driveway. Remodeled with beams and wood from 100 yr old barn. Amazing views of the valley and Haystack Mountain.

Our home in Wilmington, VT sits on Lake Raponda with its own private beach and dock. The home has been recently renovated in the inside - it's very clean, spacious, and easy to live in. A huge dining room seats 10 for big family events. The family room has won the award for the largest sectional sofa in town.

A stroll down a grass path and over a dirt road and you will be at the lakefront. There is a small boathouse to keep your food and drinks, a huge dock, and a place to tie up your boat. The lake allows motor boats, but no annoying jet skis. There is a nice family of loons that hang out at the dock to keep you entertained.

The front deck is being torn out and a new stone patio is being built in front of the home which should be completed by July 1.

The home is just minutes from Downtown Wilmington for dining, shopping, ice cream, and activities. A short walk down Lake Raponda Road and you will be at the Town of Wilmington trailheads for nice early morning hikes.

We're only about 2 hours away from Boston - even less from the Western Suburbs.
