- "Where to begin... first it is way off the beaten path. Next when we got there around 8:40 pm the sign said out to lunch. So we went back to the car for about 20 minutes.we went back inside and still no one around. Called the number from VRBO and was told that they would contact the front office. We waited about 20 minutes and called back was told the same thing. Then we texted another contact number that was sent by vrbo and was told they were trying to get in touch with someone. My aunt then found a numer on the front door for delivery people and we called it, the guy said he would be right out. I then called the number forVRBO and gave them the number and they called, finally. Then the guy at the desk said that i owed more money, i had taken a printed copy of my receipt with me and showed him that. He then had to call his manager to find out what to do. He finally took a copy of my receipt and gave us our room. By this time it is 11:00pm The room was not at all what we were expecting. The door looked like if someone shoved on it , then it would fall in. The shower was in the same room as the bed and the carpet was filthy. The sheets had holes in them. We propped the chair in front of the door. We were up and out of there at the crack of dawn. Wouldn't stay there again ever!!! First bad experience I have had with VRBO in 7 years. Very disappointed."
