The lack of having a book or binder available with local information, instructions on use of equipment and appliances, and a list of requirements for check-out separates a good premier host, from a great one. In fact, we could tell the owner is really not available, but Eva was and deserves all the credit for her quick responses! "

- "We stayed here in Jan 2025. This place is like an add-on to a small house. It seemed to be a fairly new remodel. The furniture and beds were nice. Temps outside were mid forties. There was one mini split unit that kept the main area plenty warm. There were small space heaters that don't work well for heating the bedrooms so the bedrooms were very cold. The internet comes and goes. You'll have internet for a few minutes then it will quit. For their online check in, they asked for a copy of my DL. I certainly wasn't going to give that to a stranger. When I called and told the lady it was crazy for them to ask for that and I wouldn't be giving that to them, she said it was okay and she would call me the next day at 2pm for more information on checking in. I never received a call and I started calling and emailing them. I sent 2 emails and called and left 3 messages with no response. On my way to OK, I called again and left another message. I had to call about 20 times back to back to finally get a return call. Finally, the night before leaving, I emailed and texted and asked for check out procedures. Again I received no response. We cleaned the dishes and took the trash out and left. On top of everything else, there was remodeling going on in the adjoining house and we enjoyed pounding all day. It is only reasonable to expect better communication, warm bedrooms and adequate communication. With the construction the place shouldn't have even been rented"

We went to downtown OKC for dinner twice, and shopped at Bass Pro. Very easy access and a fun city. The property is a single family home located in a nice family neighborhood with convenient shopping and restaurants nearby. The house is small, welcoming, and extremely comfortable. - "Nice, neat, clean, cozy little bungalow tucked back in the burbs. Nothing fancy but the owner has given much attention to detail so all the little things you need are here. The owner was also a great communicator. There's a lot of restaurants etc. in the area. I would certainly stay again if I needed to be in OKC. The one minor drawback was the sketchy wi-fi. I thought it would be a duplex type thing but it’s an add on to a home and it appears they rent both units. The backyard was very tall, over a foot for sure and that was disappointing. It has a nice fence, doggie door, the only down fall is the gate isn’t secured so I didn’t feel safe letting my dog use the doggie door because anyone could walk by and open that gate without me knowing. Especially with other travelers next door. They may not know any better, if it were locked, I’d feel better. There is a chain on the front door for extra security but the back door is a sliding glass door. It would be good to have a rod that goes behind the door to secure it along with the lock. The more security they have, the better off you are. Minor repairs need to be done and the yard needs mowed and picked up but again for the price, it’s great. "
