The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. There was a lovely neighbour's cat that sometimes came to visit. The sunny garden was bigger than expected from the photos (trampoline, two sitting areas, playhouse, shelter with possibility to hang laundry, winter garden with seating, etc.). We always found a parking space on the street directly in front of the house entrance. The landlady is very nice and the handing over of the keys was without any problems. The beach is within walking distance. By car we were in town in 12 minutes and always found a parking space there (electric charging station). The easiest way to get around is certainly by bike. It was a great stay!"

Welcome to Østerschjøn, which is our gem on Balka! - 238 sqm private holiday home, with only 400 meters to Denmark's most beautiful and child-friendly beach. In addition to a lovely living room and 35 sqm large garden room, the house also has 6 bedrooms and a sofabed for 2 persons, in the Livingroom upstairs. There is a kitchen and bathroom on both floors, so you can easily plan a holiday together two families, two generations or just friends who want to go on holiday together.

We live in a Villa with 6 bedrooms 2 livingrooms, 3 bathrooms a grand hall / sports hall, with a total of 450m2.
Modern kitchen with 2 owens, espressomaschine ect. 25 min from Copenhagen by train or car and just 2 minutes walk from cafes, shopping and restaurants. A very large sunny garden with outdoor spa (1.april-1. september) 2 barbecues, trampoline and all facilities and 2 terasses.
Train station 5 minutes from The House. Free parking.
Parties and unregistered guests are not allowed.

It did NOT effect sleeping unless we had windows open and overall it was not a complaint - just a reality we were surprised by. Taastrup is 25 minutes from Copenhagen Central station by S train. It was not a factor for us and the trip to/from each day went quickly. Being near the end of the line meant we always had seats going into the city.The home is secluded and we really enjoyed the privacy and appropriateness for our family of all ages. I texted Ulrik a couple times and he responded in a timely fashion. They were gracious and accommodating hosts. Overall, we'd return in a heartbeat and our kids wish we'd do it again. "

This lovely and well-furnished holiday home, located in Skipperbyen Marstal, is very close to town, harbor and beach. It has everything you need to have a comfortable holiday home, from where you can experience Ærø's many attractions.

The holiday home is a newly refurbished holiday home with modern facilities and a cosy, relaxing atmosphere, with e.g. a lovely, closed and undisturbed garden with terrace.

In the home you will find a large dining kitchen, living room and two rooms on the 1st floor. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, TV with DVD, music system, microwave and fridge/freezer.

There is also wireless wifi in the house.

The guests need to bring their own bed linen (sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover), towels, dishcloths, toilet paper etc.

The beds in bedroom 1 are a 180 cm wide bed which is in the middle of the room. Can be separated into two single beds. In bedroom 2 there is a narrower double bed 140 wide located in the middle of one end of the room under a slanted window. Beautiful night sky can be seen from there. Blackout curtains are available in both bedrooms.

Remember to book the ferry well in advance. Preferably the Ærøexpress.

The 4 bikes are adult size.

Skipperparken by Halevejen is a hit for children. Marstal Maritime Museum is a world-renowned maritime museum. Kirkestræde in the middle of the city is a pleasant pedestrian street in the summer with lots of shops and restaurants, cafes etc.

Ærø has a very exciting and versatile nature. Vitsø Nor near Søby offers fantastic bird and animal life. On the beaches, in addition to swimming, you can find amber, fossils and much more. Urehoved, Gråsten Nor, Stokkeby Nor, Sjoen and much more are unsurpassed natural areas.

Along the coasts of Ærø there is also very good fishing opportunities for all kinds of fish.

It's situated in Brønshøj right next to Utterslev Mose, a breathing hole in Copenhagen. A quiet and relaxed neighborhood. Location and surroundings

From Holmegård it is not far for a trip around Vitsø. Vitsø was originally an arm of the fjord with salt marshes at the edge, which had a direct connection to the sea. Over the decades, the area was dewatered by damming and dewatering with the Pump Mill and later with electric pumps. Due to the cultivation of the land, many of the rare meadow plants disappeared. In 2009, the drainage of the area was stopped, and Vitsø became a continuous nature area of 150 hectares with a new large lake surrounded by salt marshes and fresh meadows.
