- "The booking was online and you get a front door code and a bedroom assigned to you. You see no staff. You have to make your own bed. Not worried about that but there were no working electric sockets in the room and I need a CPAP machine working at night. Shared toilet which was not mentioned on the website and the only shower was downstairs and we were upstairs. On the good side, it was very clean and tidy and it was an unusual building, much prettier on the inside than the outside, really quite quirky but in a good way. We rent two rooms separately. We have a good 100-year-old homestead, with plenty of space.
Our property is 3000 m2, herb garden, fruit trees, grass and wild nature that you are welcome to use.
We have a lovely view over the fjord and the Great Belt, and beautiful nature right outside the door.
We have different terraces, so you can almost always find shelter. There is a sandbox and garden furniture that you are welcome to use.
The garden is fenced in so that small children and dogs cannot run out. We have a dog ourselves

The space
We have 2 rooms on the 1st floor that we rent out, they must be booked separately, they are located in a hallway where the shared bathroom is also, usually we do not come in this area
In the blue room, there is a double bed, and in the brown room, there are two single beds that can be put together to form a double bed

Guest access
In addition to the room, you have access to the rest of the 1st floor, a repos, with table and chairs and a fantastic view, there is also a mini balcony, where the table can be rolled out, there is also an office with a work table and a table with 2 chairs.
We sometimes use this area ourselves, but there will always be at least one room available
There is a kettle, tea and coffee available in the hallway area just outside the rooms.
You are also welcome to use a shelf in our fridge in the kitchen.

During your stay
Brunch, must be ordered in advance. I would like to serve a nice brunch, with homemade bread, tea, coffee, juice, eggs, bacon, cold cuts, fruit and vegetables primarily from my own organic vegetable garden. It costs DKK 150 per person per day and is optional, and is paid on the spot.
Alternatively, I serve breakfast for DKK 75 per person

We live in the property ourselves, and since we are both retired, we are very often at home and available, and are happy to help with anything we can.
We expect you to take into account that it is also a private home and that it is quiet after 10 p.m. General socializing is always allowed both indoors and outdoors.

We have a little old boarding dog from Portugal who walks around and enjoys himself
Our garden is fenced, so that means that dogs that are welcome can run around freely.

The space
We live in a former railway station in Vangen, about 6 km south of Frederikshavn.
A short distance to the E45 motorway and Vangen beach.
Petrol pumps and charging station across the street.
Bus to and from Frederikshavn, Sæby and Aalborg about once an hour.

We bought the place in 2013 and the property from 1899, is slowly changing its character to a family home, with a vegetable garden and a large natural garden.

The guest building is clean and tidy, everything technical that is available to the guests works fine, but minor renovations are taking place on the property.
It means e.g. that not all external walls necessarily have the same colour, and there are some temporary solutions.

The host couple is Scandinavian, the beds are good, and we get a lot of good feedback on both the stay and the breakfast.
Breakfast is served in your room between 7 and 9 am, or can be made as "take away" if desired. If the weather is good, many choose to enjoy it it in the garden.

The guesthouse is a separate building on the property, and it has 3 guestrooms.
The following is disposable by the guests:

One singlebed, a table, a chair, an armchair and blackout curtains.

Rest room
Sink with h/c water, toilet.

In the main building (9 meters from door to door) you can find another toilet, and shower-room for the guests.

On the property, a garden is being layed out with, among other things, a little lake/pool, that is disposable by the guests.

Other things to note
As mentioned earlier, this is not the place for you who expects top quality facilities, completely straight blankets, and buffet as breakfast.
Here it is simple and straight forward, fair prices and a very good location especially if you are going to Norway or Sweden the next morning.

The space
Kongsø B&B close to Hærvejen offers accommodation in six charming rooms in a stately property in the middle of the forest south of Silkeborg. Surrounded by nature, high ceilings, and squeaky floors, you'll get a unique experience far away from the city's race and bustle.

If you are into luxury and great comfort, our house may not be right for you, instead we offer historic building from 1899, charm, and all decor with exclusively recycled.
Note; All rooms and toilet/bathroom are on the 1st floor, kitchen and dining room on the ground floor

The house is a semi-detached house, where we ourselves live in one half and then rent the other half for accommodation/events/class business

It has high ceilings and the stars of the night sky glimpses about the seas. You hear the sounds of the forest, the owls are not detained, the red deer roar....
the bats are very quiet

Experience nature close to Hærvejen

Kongsø B&B is close to Hærvejen in the middle of the beautiful Lake District, which makes it ideal for hikers. It has both foliage and spruce forest and lots of birdsong.
Also take a trip to the nearby swimming lake or explore the beautiful nature of the area

In the garden behind the house you will also find a south-facing terrace with several sitting groups, a barbecue as well as a fire pit

Guest access
The house will initially be open when you arrive (as we live in the other half ourselves). There may also be other guests in the house with you and the door therefore not locked.
If we are not at home, we have a lockbox that you will get directions to via the app

During your stay
We respect guests' privacy, but are happy to come and greet if we are home when you arrive.
Additionally, the app is used for communication

A lovely double room at the lovely Anahata Yoga Retreat Center, overlooking the water and lovely garden/courtyard. There is access to the living room with sea view, as well as a kitchen with fridge and stove.

The room is on the first floor and you may share a bathroom (which is the ground floor) with another room.

The space
The room is with two separate beds. If you want a double bed, we'll make it for you. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire beautiful garden at the Anahata Yoga Retreat Center. The garden is filled with edible flowers, perennials, berry bush fruit trees, herbs, and vegetables. A small oasis for animals, birds, insects, and humans.

We provide vegan breakfast with oatmeal, almonds, raisins, fresh fruit, and coffee/tea for 50 DDK (self-service)
During the period 7 - 27 July, we offer a breakfast buffet at 9am - 10am to 125 DKK and dinner at 7pm to 160 DKK. There are yoga classes from 7.30 -9.00 and 17.30 - 19.00 for you to attend. It costs 150 DKK per time.
We take cash or visa/mastercard.

Rø at the top of Bornholm with a view from the garden over the sea towards Christiansø.
Here are horses, dogs ( in the private), rabbits and cats. Pony riding can be arranged.
All accommodation includes bed linen, towels , just as the breakfast is included.
There are a total of 3 rooms at the address 2 double and 1 single. Book one at a time at B&B Pilehøj.

The space
There are 3 rooms, a small living room and a kitchen with possibility to cook and a bathroom. Guests will be shared about living room, kitchen and bath.
Sitting in the front yard or in front of the house is available. The front yard is on a small gravel road with sparse traffic. You have a view of the sea from here.

Guest access
You can get to the B&B via the wooden stairs. There is a key in the lockbox located on the railing. The code is 1122. You get directly into the kitchen, go through it and out into the hallway. Here you will find the rooms that are numbered.

During your stay
I'm a nurse and work in changing guards.

We are about 10-12 km from Odense Center/train station and about 8 minutes from the highway exit Odense S.

The apartment consists of 1 bedroom with double bed, New Yorker-inspired bathroom with shower and open kitchen/dining and living room with sofa bed.

Small terrace at the front of the house with morning/afternoon sun and parking. Terrace at the back of the house with dining area, gas grill and access to shared garden with seating and fireplace.

The annex is located in scenic surroundings, where you can enjoy the tranquility and fresh air. Just outside the door you will find beautiful trails in our forest - these you are free to use.

The surrounding nature invites you to walk and cycle through open landscapes and forests, the area is rich in wildlife.

Only 15 minutes away you will find Holstebro, with cafes, shops and culture.

Holstebro Golf Club is within walking distance and offers a scenic golf experience in a beautiful hilly terrain. There is also the Heart Trail, with 3-5 km routes.

The space
The annex is renovated in 2024 and is 55 m2. These are divided into bedroom, bathroom and combined living room and kitchenette with dining area for 8 people.
Note!!! There is no stove in the kitchenette. Air fryer is available.

Retractable ladder provides access to loft with cabinet walls, with a maximum height of 1.7 m. There are 4 sleeping places.

Guest access
As guests, you are welcome to take walks in the 6-hectare forest around the annex and use our playground. Here you will find swings, a play tower, a sandbox and a trampoline. The playground is located at the other end of the forest from the annex.

There is the possibility of additional purchases:
- Bed linen + sheets 35.00 kr. per guest.
- Towels, DKK 15.00 per guest.

Final cleaning is expected upon departure - price DKK 350. However, it is possible to clean the annex yourself before departure - it is expected that you will follow the instructions.
